Discovered at the age of 15, the British model turns 43 today. Over the past 28 years of her modeling career, Naomi Campbell has given us all sorts of fierce and commanding looks. But none of them top her angry faces, which have been seen on The Face (Oxygen’s modeling reality competition series) to strutting down the street to complete community service. So we honor the model’s birthday with all her angriest faces… let’s just hope she won’t throw a cell phone at us!
This news is pretty scary. It takes a lot of guts to target one of the most photographed faces in the world and the fact that thieves are now taking those chances means our world has become that much more unsafe to live in. Naomi Campbell was attacked and mugged recently in Paris on the street while she was trying to get a taxi and ended up hurting herself badly while being robbed. Sources told Page Six, “Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up. It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out, and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone. She was attacked in the street as she hailed a cab, and robbed.” Naomi’s torn a ligament thanks to the ordeal but luckily, her billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, acted as her knight in shining armour and flew her to Colorado via private jet to get treated by a top orthopedic surgeon. So we know she’s in good hands. It is believed the thieves were after her jewelry and the French police are in the midst of investaging the incident. We’re glad this didn’t get any worse!

TV personalities Maria Menounos and Angela Simmons made a strong showing, too. We’ve also got shots from the usual suspects like reality star Kim Kardashian, never-shy Twitter mama Adrianne Curry and Coco, the Patron Saint of Donks.
Some of our very own VH1 stars like Mob Wives’ Drita D’Avanzo and Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada put in an appearance, as did Hunger Games leading lady (and our personal favorite) Jennifer Lawrence. Professional hotties Kate Upton and Brooklyn Decker look straight out of the pages of Sports Illustrated, while Victoria’s Secret Angels Miranda Kerr, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima are simply heavenly.

SPICE UP YOUR LIFE! Sorry, guys. We really did get excited seeing the Spice Girls reunited while performing at the amazing spectacle that was the Olympics Closing Ceremony yesterday (or this morning, depends on what part of the world you’re in.) Especially went whizzing around in those cool, lit-up minis! And they weren’t the only ones we squeed at. The whole playlist of sorts had moments we were giddy about. How about Take That? We used to swoon over them back in the day, and seeing them together brought back all those memories. We only wish that Robbie Williams had joined them, but we’ll take what we can get. We got One Direction for the swooning-in-this-day-and-age, so we’re all good! George Michael busting out moves was awesome — did you sing Freedom out aloud too? And how about them supermodels, huh? All in glittering gold gowns. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Stella Tennant, Karen Elson and the rest of the finest of the Brit fashion crop did make a huge impression.
We have to say that Fatboy Slim busting out Rockerfella Skank was a massive moment for us too. Acid house at the Olympics? Yes, please! And while we’re at it — what did you think of Russell Brand‘s performance? We love him, so we were more than happy to see him up there. More than anything, his inclusion showed just how much thought the organizers put into this ceremony. They tried to be together everything quintessentially British — fashion, comedians, music, dancing — and we think they totally succeeded. Welcome back to the ever-popular and much beloved VH1 Celebrity Bikini Awards! Yes, it’s that time of year again, where we pit your favorite stripped down celebs against one another to see has the most bangin’ bikini bod of 2012. Happy summer, folks!
Step back, beach babes: It’s time to leave it to the professionals! We can’t have a bikini contest without mentioning these lovely ladies who get paid to strut their stuff on runways and beaches around the world. Kate Upton has been shaping up to be the queen of the summer with her reign on the Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover and her super hot (and patriotic) GQ spread. But she definitely has some rock hard competition in the form of former SI cover girl Brooklyn Decker, not to mention mega-hot model mamas Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes. We’ll let Gisele Bundchen join in the fun too, even though she’s technically only got half of a bikini. But her husband, Tom Brady, lost the Super Bowl, so we have some sympathy for her. Factor in supermodel legend Naomi Campbell, Victoria’s Secret angel Irina Shayk and Italian superhottie Claudia Romani, and you realize that it can be anybody’s game.

Most of us have that painful period during our teen years that we spend the rest of our life trying to forget. It’s forever known as “the awkward phase”, and photos from the era are purged from family albums in a manner that would do Stalin proud. Well, it seems that Heidi Klum never had that awkward phase. This would explain why she’s a world famous supermodel and we are not.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel tweeted a photo over the weekend showing herself as a fresh faced (and GORGEOUS) 19-year old on one of her early modeling dates. “Wow! Check out this picture from 1992,” she wrote. “One of my very first photo shoots. This is my original hair color!” Though still a teen, Klum still stares down the lens like a pro. Must be the genes. Contrary to what Maybelline wants you to think, she’s definitely born with it. And so are many other super models! There’s a reason why this particular batch of women were called “The Supers.” Roberto Cavalli certainly knows why. Naomi Campbell closed his Autumn-Winter 2012-2013 show in Milan yesterday and looked nothing short of stupendous in a shimmering burgundy, backless creation, as you can see above. The woman leaves quite an impression. A beaming Cavalli, who was backstage, said, “If there was an Oscar for world’s greatest model, then I would give it to Naomi Campbell, no question. Every dress you put on her, she knows how to interpret it — she is an actress of fashion.”
Naomi’s only done a handful of very select runway shows over the last five years, mostly for old friends. When asked why she consented to close Cavalli’s show, her simple answer was, “I am here because Roberto seduces me.”

Christina Hendricks normally wins every time she walks the carpet, but this outfit looks like something she dug out of a dumpster and smeared on her body. Naomi Campbell should throw her rhinestone-covered Blackberry at herself for this abysmal showing (Do we spy a scrunchie?!), Ashley Olsen‘s arms are sleeved in 100% fail and Freida Pinto is going to have to nail it on every red carpet for the rest of the year to make us forgive and forget this hipster douche tie monstrosity.
