Jessica, Kim, Rita And More: Which Star’s Been Rocking Paris Fashion Week Most? You Decide!

We’re sorry we’ve been ignoring Fashion Week this time around. The shows in Paris are in full swing and we thought mid-week would be a nice time to do a little round-up. Because where there is couture, there are celebrities. All vying for front-row, of course. We’ve gathered the top six stars visiting, because they were either, super well-dressed or, stuck out like sore thumbs. We’re talking about you, Rita Ora. That’s what the singer wore to the Chanel Spring-Summer 2012 shows. With Alexander Wang leather lace up boots. Not particularly politically correct, Rita. Kim Kardashian decided to channel a very chic Parisienne at the Stephane Rolland show, while Jessica Alba‘s chic little outfit and bright coral lipstick made us smile at Christian Dior.

Rounding up this sartorial crew are Salma Hayek, Diane Kruger and Rosamund Pike. We’re in love with Salma’s Giambattista Valli Fall 2012 collection claret dress worn, where else, but to the Valli couture showing. Diane pushed the boundaries as usual at the Chanel showing, looking like a French schoolgirl, while Rosamund’s sunny smile and enviable boots were the talk of fashionistas at Dior. But who are you talking up? Whose fashion was smashin’? Let us know, folks!

Salma Hayek Is Returning For The 30 Rock Finale… Can We Demand Matt Damon Do the Same?

It looks like Tina Fey has heard our fervent prayers and decided to bring back Salma Hayek for the series finale of 30 Rock on January 31. She already answered our prayers that both Nancy Pelosi and Ice-T be somehow included in the episode, which makes us realize we have a lot of extremely weird, hyper-specific prayers. Hayek will be returning as Jack Donaghy’s ex-girlfriend Elisa, the love interest we all known Alec Baldwin should have been with all along. So since we’re bringing back the show’s greatest guest stars, can we please request that Matt Damon return as Liz Lemon’s ex Carol? Because he is obviously who she should have ended up with all along. Please?
It’s not that we don’t like James Marsden‘s character Criss. He and Liz had a lovely, weirdo court house wedding this past November. It’s just that we don’t like James Marsden’s Criss as much as Matt Damon’s weepy, stubborn Carol. Carol and Liz were the perfect match! It’s only because Matt Damon had a bustling film career that his character couldn’t stick around. (No offense, Marsden.) We would be peeved to see Jack end up with his soulmate and Liz stuck with a partner that was not quite as perfect. Then again, apparently Julianne Moore‘s Nancy will also be popping back up in the finale episode. If Tina Fey decides to pair her with Jack and neglects to invite Damon back…well, we wash our hands of this finale entirely! You might as well forget to invite Rachel Dratch while you’re at it!

Anne Hathaway’s Shame Comment In Glamour One Of The 10 Most Honest Celeb Quotes About Weight

On Anne Hathaway, how much do we love thee? Let us count the awesome quotes about weight you shared with Glamour. “I still feel the stress over ‘Am I thin enough? Am I too thin? Is my body the right shape?’” the Les Miserables actress admitted. “There’s an obsessive quality to it that I thought I would’ve grown out of by now. It’s an ongoing source of shame for me.” On an unrelated note, we love how Glamour didn’t sandblast Hathaway’s face into an unrecognizable doll mask like some Photoshop-happy magazines do. Well-played, you guys!
We’ve said before how much we’ve been enjoying the celebrity-lead discussion about weight recently, and our interest is even more piqued by Hathaway’s inclusion in our 20 Stars Who Took Their Bodies To Extremes For The Screen list. Basically what we’re saying is, Anne’s words lead us to collect our favorite brutally honest celeb quotes about weight. Some of them are uplifting, some of them are depressing, but all of them are a good reminder than famous people are just meat puppets like us. Meat puppets with great hair and nicer cars, but meat puppets none the less.
Cameron Diaz, Amber Heard, Ginnifer Goodwin And Co. Get Avant-Garde For The LACMA Gala

The LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala Honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick presented by Gucci turned out to be a pretty well-attended, fashion-savvy event this weekend. Teeming with A-listers, since Gucci was headlined, most of the ladies wore the brand. We do have Robert Pattinson in our gallery as well, because he’s Robert Pattinson, and he looked devastating in his sharp Gucci suit. Also wearing Gucci was Amy Adams, who glided in a yellow Spring 2013 strapless column with a train and Amber Valletta who was dramatic in a deep green, ruffled, halter-necked gown. Florence Welch (who also performed at the event) looked stunning wearing deep purple Gucci with a gold Grecian headband that worked like a dream with her red hair and pale skin. Bella Heathcote wore a white frock with paillettes and an embellished neckline, which was similar to Amber Heard‘s only the latter’s was in black and gold. There was even more Gucci thanks to Minka Kelly‘s stark black number, Evan Rachel Wood‘s sexy gold dress and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s leggy, backless emerald gown. Ginnifer Goodwin wore a risque dress from the Fall 2012 collection that featured a bold feathered green skirt and black, sheer panelled blouson. Cameron Diaz‘s body was to die for in a bright yellow mini-dress, while her gal pal Jennifer Aniston brought the va-va-voom in a plunging gown by Tom Ford. Breaking out of the brand was another Jennifer, Jennifer Morrison, who chose a slashed black Reem Acra jumpsuit. Some of the looks worked — Evan, Amy, Amber and then some — and some, we’re not quite sure of, like Cameron and Jennifer M’s. But at least this was a red carpet that had interesting, envelope pushing looks. Check out our gallery to see all the rest.

Salma Hayek Reports From Bizarre Alternate Reality: “I Am On The Limit Of Chubbiness”

Poor Salma Hayek! It must be hard to live in a strange world where all of your coworkers and neighbors are actively trying to have the BMI of a wooden marionette just to look good on-camera. It would be enough to make any gorgeous actress doubt her own jaw-dropping curvaceousness. “I am on the limit of chubbiness because I love my food and my wine,” the Savages actress claims in her Harper’s Bazaar UK interview. “It’s not the best for fashion, but it’s good for my mood. I am happy because I eat.” We’re inclined to think Hayek got the word “chubbiness” confused with “having a body so bodacious that the average human is constantly staring at it in hushed awe,” but somehow we don’t think that’s the case.
Maybe we’ve just been inundated with stories about female celebrities’ weight recently, from Rebel Wilson to Lady Gaga, but hearing the number one stunner talking as if she has to explain the way she looks truly makes us upset. On the other hand, Hayek points out, not being bone-thin has it’s advantages. “I am 46; I will not have Botox,” she reveals. “You know why? I don’t need to do it because I eat! I eat the fat, I eat the vegetables, I eat everything. If you exercise too much and you don’t eat enough, it takes its toll on the skin. Everything starts aging. If you don’t eat carbs, you slow your metabolism down. And you know what? You look miserable.” Oh, those poor marionette people!

Director Oliver Stone Can’t Handle Salma Hayek’s Curves At Savages Premiere

I love Salma Hayek and am constantly amazed how her, and I’m putting this in ladylike terms, “cleavage area” pretty much defies gravity. I also feel like she’s always walking that very fine line and gets people to think — how much boob is too much boob? But they’ll just think it and never say it because she’s Salma Hayek and is awesome. The actress was at the premiere of her film Savages held at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London yesterday wearing the very hot, color-blocked Roland Mouret “Mercy” dress with blue Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels (I want them) and Dana Rebecca Designs earrings. The dress, while amazing, begs the boob question because it makes her look positively … buoyant. It’s also ironic that the dress is called “Mercy” because that’s what director Oliver Stone seems to be begging for in the picture on the left. Excuse us, Oliver — keep your hands off the merchandise. I’m sure he was joking but he’s still a little too handsy for my liking. What’s hilariously funny, though, is that it looks like Salma’s telling him off in the picture on the right. Yo, gents. It is understood that Salma is too frickin’ hot to handle … so that means that you don’t try to handle her. Keep the paws off, capisce?

The 35 Most Adorable Celebrity Besties: From Beyonce And Gwyneth To Brad And George
We all get by with a little help from our friends, but celebs even more so. After all, Hollywood is a tough biz, and the only way to survive the ups and downs of Tinseltown is by surrounding yourself with a few true pals who will stick by your side in good times as well as during the bumps and slumps. We’ve long loved the enduring bond Oprah Winfrey and her BFF Gayle King share, and got teary-eyed this awards season watching Busy Phillips escort her nominated pal Michelle Williams to every event in town. And who can resist dudes like Tom Sturridge and Robert Pattinson and Jay-Z and Kanye West, who are always on hand to support each other’s personal and professional triumphs?
And then there are gals like Snooki and J-Woww, who have stuck by each other from day one in the Jersey Shore house. Through booze, bitch slaps, anonymous note-leaving, Vinny sex and drunken fights on the streets of Italy, they’ve never left each other’s side. The girls have a new reality show premiering tonight on MTV chronicling — what else? — the ups and downs of their friendship. In honor of their unbreakable bond, we’ve got 35 of the Most Adorable Celebrity Besties in the gallery below. Have a fave pair? Shout ‘em out in the comments.
Prometheus Premieres In London, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace Play Dress-Up

Prometheus premiered last night in London, and we were looking forward to see what stars Charlize Theron and Noomi Rapace would wear. Both of them have been having a super fashion year so far, especially Charlize on her Snow White and the Huntsman promotional rounds. Anyone else wearing that midnight blue, semi-sheer, strapless dress by Dior would look terrible. But those rules don’t apply to Charlize, because she ended up convincing us that we liked a dress that we normally would nix. She also wore Dior T-strap heels and Bulgari jewels, and basically, Charlize — we love and hate you in equal measure. The hate comes in because her genetics are enviable. The love, obviously, is because she’s a tall glass of awesome.
Noomi went the gown route, picking a beautiful black Valentino dress with Harry Winston jewelry. It’s simple and so elegant — a very smart choice for her. Also spotted was Salma Hayek wearing lilac Bottega Veneta along with mauve heels and a matching clutch. Again, someone with such a color coordinated palette would look too matchy-matchy, but Salma always makes it work for her. Our last pick is Minnie Driver. She gets our vote for best-dressed, wearing a stunning gold lace overlay Temperley London Pre-Fall 2012 dress. We don’t see much of Minnie around, but as long as she makes the occasional appearance dressed like this, we’ll be just fine.

Jessica Chastain And Salma Hayek Go Glam, Shia LaBeouf And Tom Hardy Go Grunge This Weekend At Cannes

As weekend hit the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival, it seems like the gals and the guys took very different approached to the dress code. Starlets like Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska and Cheryl Cole stepped out in gorgeous floor-sweeping gowns, and A-list actresses like Salma Hayek and Diane Kruger hit the red carpet in bosom-bearing low cut couture that left photographers screaming for more. The guys, on the other hand, seemed to take significantly less care on their appearance. Shia LaBeouf looked scruffy with a half-beard and his long unruly mane slicked back, while Gerard Butler also shared the five-o’clock-five-days-later shadow. But the king of the WTF fashion this weekend was Tom Hardy, who took grizzly to new heights with greasy-looking hair, unabomber beard, and a thousand-yard-stare that makes us wonder if he swam the Atlantic to attend the festival. Check out more glitz, glam and grunge in the gallery below!
