Rihanna is pantsless on stage yet again, and we can’t tell you how happy we are about it! The 24-year-old hit up the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas this weekend wearing a glittering golden basketball jersey and some sweet kicks. She tweeted her thanks to the sporty butt-baring ensemble’s designer Jeremy Scott just before her headlining performance. But there were no shorts, trousers, tights or slacks to be seen as Riri conquered the stage with killer versions of her hits arsenal, including “Disturbia,” “Umbrella,” Cockiness,” “We Found Love,” and tons more. We heart radio, but we heart Rihanna even more!
In somewhat darker Riri news, reports are circulating that the singer is apparently “furious” about the tattoo her infamous ex Chris Brown unveiled on his neck a few weeks back. The body art drew heavy criticism for depicting what appeared to be a beaten woman, and an unnamed source is saying that Rihanna feels that it was somehow intentional. “He must’ve known what people would think. But that’s typical of Chris, he never thinks about anyone but himself,” the apparent insider told Britain’s Look magazine. “It’s a painful reminder for Rihanna of what she went through.” Even though the tattoo artist has since come forward to say that the ink is actually meant to be a woman decorated with Day of the Dead makeup, Look’s source says that the controversy spoiled any chance of a Chris-Rihanna reunion that may have been brewing. “She’s been calling Chris to say the tattoo is sickening and she’s furious.”
Chris Brown has been doing his best to move on following his 2009 assault conviction for abusing his then-girlfriend Rihanna. But understandably, many members of the public aren’t so quick to forget, not to mention forgive. That would explain why copies of his latest album Fortune were found in a London HMV mega-store sporting an advisory sticker reading: “Warning. Do Not Buy This Album! This Man Beats Women.”
Thought to be the work of anti-domestic violence campaigners, photos of the stickers have been making the rounds of social media even after the staff at HMV had the labels removed. “Someone went into one of our stores and put the stickers on,” HMV public relations manager Gennaro Castaldo told The Huffington Post. “We spotted and removed them quickly but before we could do so the person circulated a photo to media.” The record retail expressed has apologized publicly for the incident this morning. “It was very much an isolated incident and nothing to do with HMV or representing our views. It would appear a member of the public popped into one of our stores… and stickered a handful of CDs.”
Chris Brown raised a lot of eyebrows in the last few days after showing off a new tattoo that looks suspiciously like a portrait of his beaten up ex-girlfriend Rihanna. But now the tattoo artist who did the inking is weighing in, and frankly he’s pretty bummed that our minds went there. Celebrity tat guru Peter Koskela opened up to E! News and firmly denied that the image depicts the abused pop singer. “It was really a blow to me to think that people would think so little of a person that I would actually put a picture of a beaten woman on his neck,” he said. “That was crazy to me, that he would come to me and say, ‘Hey, I want Rihanna’s face on me.’”
Chris’ reps have tried to shead a little light on what the image is actually supposed to represent. “His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a M.A.C cosmetics design he saw,” they explain. “It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported. It is peeling right now.” According to Koskela, the image is looking a little roughed up because his skin hasn’t totally recovered yet. “People thought it was a beat-up face, but it takes two weeks to heal because the neck is constantly moving.”
The artist feels genuinely horrible about the whole media sh-tstorm his work has unleashed. “I would never promote any kind of domestic violence like that,” he insists. “Even if he asked me to do it, I would have bounced right there. I don’t do racist tattoos, I don’t do gang-related tattoos and I don’t do anything hurtful. That is just the motto I live by. The other tattoo artists might, but I just don’t.” Next time maybe Chris should just go with a butterfly.

It’s grillz gone wild these days in Hollywood! We thought it was over back in ’06, but lately the teeth bling thing has been making a comeback in a huge way. We blame Ryan Lochte, who famously accepted his Olympic medals wearing an American flag-inspired grill on the stand. Just last night Rihanna stepped out to dinner wearing some metallic vampire fangs and crazy purple lipstick. Sure we’re used to seeing some extra gleam in Flavor Flav and Lil Wayne’s smiles, but that’s not all. Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and even Jessica Simpson have experimented with the bold look over the years. Yes, grills aren’t just for badasses and Bond villains anymore, but they’ll still probably give you trouble at a medal detector. We wish they’d been in the 90s, because it would have totally made our braces years a lot more bearable! Oh well. Head on down to the gallery below to see 20 stars who’ve been rocking the gold in their teeth!

Hmmm, which one is less appealing: Chris Brown‘s new prison-style neck tattoo, or the gold grillz Rihanna paired with opaque lilac lip gloss night? On one hand, Rihanna can take out the aforementioned grillz whenever she wants, rather than, say, having to pay thousands of dollars to have them lasered off. On the other hand, Chris Brown can walk into any restaurant in the world and immediately enjoy a nice meal unhindered by his sugar skull/MAC advert/alleged portrait of RiRi getting in the way. What’s the point of wearing grillz to Giorgio Baldi, knowing that you’ll have to excuse yourself to the ladies room, spit them out and keep them in your purse wrapped in a napkin? Unless we completely misunderstand grillz? Which is more than possible?
It’s hard to type when you just want to face-palm all day, so we’ll keep this brief: Chris Brown showed off a new tattoo on his neck that depicts what appears to be a woman with either weird face tattoos (if you’re being generous) or with bruises and scars on her face (if you’re not so Team Breezy). Probably not the best choice for a guy convicted of domestic assault. Maybe he should have gone with an eagle or a peace sign or something like that. But wait, it gets worse (maybe). Many people believe that the new ink bears a striking resemblance to his former girlfriend Rihanna. Yeah, you probably see where we’re going with this.
Despite all of this creepiness, Team Breezy insists that it’s all just a coincidence. Sources close to the singer told TMZ that “it’s a random woman.” And they’re definitely insisting that the apparent bruises and stitches are just the woman’s tattoos and elaborate makeup. Whatever the truth, it’s still an interesting choice to say the least. Even if there is an innocent explanation behind the marking, you’d think someone in his camp would have sounded the alarm that the tat could easily be misinterpreted.
Rihanna is definitely one lady you do not want to mess with on Twitter. She’ll deliver verbal smack-downs, comebacks and barbs that will make you cry if aimed at you, and cry with laughter if they’re not! British broadcaster Piers Morgan learned that the hard way last night by tweeting something nasty about the singer’s new short hairdo. ” Ps I think @Rihanna needs to grow her hair back. Fast,” he wrote. The singer responded swiftly be saying that he needed to “grow a d–k…FAST.” Boom, y’all. He played with fire, and he got burned. We could have told you that would happen, Piers. She’s the Oscar Wilde of Twitter, giving us some hilariously quotable gems that never fail to make us smile. Check out some of our favorites below!
10. One snarky (or maybe just helpful?) fan wrote to Rihanna saying “Umm…u do know ur boobs r hanging out in like all of ur videos…right? #JustCheckin…”
This Chris Brown-Rihanna saga’s never going to end is it. And since both of them were going to attend the MTV Video Music Awards, held last night, there was some serious anticipation about whether was something was going to go down. Over the past few months, all signs have led towards to some sort of a reunion, and not just a conciliation. Chris being there at Rihanna’s birthday party, albeit on the down-low. All the hoopla about the Chris-Drake fight over Ri-Ri. Yeah, yeah “allegedly” over Ri-Ri, but c’mon, we all know that it was about her. And let’s not forget Rihanna’s turn with Oprah, where she admitted she felt “protective” about him. Did they two really meet up before she headed to Italy on vacay? While that rumor will never be substantiated, who all here think it happened? Yeah, that’s what we though. Most of you do! That Rihanna-Chris collabo — there’s more to it, guys. We feel it. They’re inching towards a full-on public declaration of re-love. Hah.
Anyhoo, taking all of this into consideration, let’s get down to what happened at the VMAs last night. Rihanna was looking mighty-fine with her new hair and in a white gown that got her onto the best-dressed list for the night. Chris was looking dapper in a steel grey suit. They met. But were there fireworks? Well, that’s for you to decide. MTV has video of them meeting and of a kiss between the two — right in front of everyone. But we can’t tell, due to the angle, if it was a friendly peck hello, or something more passionate. What it does reveal though, is that these two have reached a place that’s more than just civilized. Rihanna looks really happy to see him. So, what gives? And what’s your take on the kiss?

Have we really not had a truly epic VMA beef since Kanye went totally Kanye and snatched Taylor Swift‘s mic in 2009? How time flies. Tonight the MTV VMAs honor those artists who have crafted a truly superior piece of visual art to accompany their music. But a well-crafted celebrity feud? Well, that’s even harder to come by. So we went ahead and predicted some fantasy VMA celebrity feuds for them, just to get the ball rolling! It’s like using The Secret, except you probably shouldn’t use The Secret to have someone yank out Lana Del Rey’s weave…
So, this picture of Chris Brown with a bright blue new ‘do did the rounds over the last few hours. He originally released it on his Instagram account but took it off, for some strange reason. You can see disappointed fans asking why he did that on the last picture on the page as well, requesting him to put it back up. His fan Twitter account, ChrisBrownnation still has the picture, which you can see here. We’re a bit flummoxed about why he decided to delete the image? Is it because of some sort of backlash? Is he going back to his regular hair color? Experimenting with hair color isn’t exactly a big deal now. Katy Perry is the primary example of that. And Chris’ band of loyal followers — and there are millions of them — wouldn’t care one bit if his hair were blue, blond or technicolored, right? We wrote about Chris coloring his hair blond and it being beyond us last year, but the change in look didn’t really affect his album sales! But seriously, do you like it? Should he keep it for some time?
