Bobby Brown Arrested For Another DUI, On The Day The Houston’s Premieres. Coincidence?

Bobby Brown arrested for his second DUI

Not again! Bobby Brownwas arrested in Los Angeles early this morning, racking up his second DUI of 2012. We had imagined it was pretty hard to get two DUIs in under a year, what with license suspension and other disciplinary actions. But that just goes to show you that L.A. is a hell of a place! Police told TMZ that Brown was pulled over around 1 AM for cruising “erratically.” Although to be fair to Bobby, we’ve driven in L.A. and “erratically” is pretty much the only way to do it. The cops caught a massive whiff of booze on Brown’s breath, and immediately administered a field sobriety test. After he failed, Bobby was brought downtown and booked for driving under the influence.

It’s interesting to note that today marks the debut of his former in-law’s reality show, The Houstons: On Our Own. The program features Bobbi Kristina Brown -Bobby’s daughter with late-ex Whitney Houston- and her romantic relationship with “adoptive brother” Nick Gordon. Hmmmm. We’re not saying that Bobby hit the sauce because a series that centers on his daughter getting engaged to her brother was about to hit the airwaves in a very public way. We’re just saying that we’d totally understand if that was the reason. It’s the Linda Hogan defense.

The 7 Most Uncomfortable Photos From The Houstons Red Carpet Premiere

Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon at 'The Houstons' red carpet premiere

So there we were, checking out photos of Bobbi Kristina Brown, her brother-lover Nick Gordon, soul legend Cissy Houston at the rest of the Houston/Brown crew at last night’s red carpet premiere party for The Houstons: On Our Own. But then it slowly dawned on us:  It seemed pretty rough. Don’t get us wrong, everyone looked great as they strolled into New York’s Tribeca Grand Hotel. But they just seemed so visibly uncomfortable, as if they were being ordered down the red carpet at gun point. The forced frozen smiles, the awkwardly stiff poses. Don’t get us wrong, we’ve had way more than our fair share of unflattering photos over the years. But it was like the Houston’s would rather be anywhere else, and it bummed us out! Although we get that they’ve been through a lot, and it has to be pretty rough to have your most private moments paraded in front of the public. But then…don’t do a reality show? Who knows, maybe they’re still just freaked out about Bobbi Kristina’s engagement to her adopted brother. We would be too! Check out our seven most painfully awkward photos from last night’s premiere in the gallery below!

Whitney Houston’s Cocaine Use In Coroner’s Report Devastates Mom

The details in the final coroner’s report on Whitney Houston’s death spell out the nasty effects of the late singer’s cocaine use. She was found face down in the bathtub with a “bloody purge coming from her nose” the report states, adding that damage to her septum also indicated her drug habit. Among the evidence in her hotel room were “a small spoon with a white crystal-like substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper” on a counter and “remnants of a white powdery substance, and a portable mirror on a base” in a drawer.

According to TMZ, Whitney’s mother, Cissy Houston, was devastated by the report and cried hysterically when she heard of its findings. Understandably, she worries that Whitney will be remembered for the circumstances of her death rather than her musical legacy.

“I know I did the best I could,” Cissy said in a recent TV interview. “I don’t blame myself. I know I did the best I could for everything. I’m very proud of my daughter. She accomplished a whole lot in the short time that she had here … she was a very wonderful person.”
