All week long, we have been reliving the golden era of hip-hop; specifically, the late ’80s and early ’90s years that Yo! MTV Raps ruled the airwaves. If the nostalgia or the awesomely bad style moments hasn’t convinced you to tune in to tonight’s The 40 Greatest Yo! MTV Rap Moments, perhaps the then and now style evolution of some of your favorite celebrities will. In the most visible transformation, Ice-T traded in his pimp wardrobe for more refined wares. And Salt-N-Pepa retired the spandex (which we kind of loved) in favor of chic dresses.

DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Still Doesn’t Talk To Fellow Fly Girl Jennifer Lopez

We always forget that Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba got her start the same way Jim Carrey, the Wayans brothers, Jamie Foxx, Rosie Perez, Laurieann Gibson and Jennifer Lopez did, on In Living Color. But Inaba (who also danced on tour with Madonna, was a Japanese pop star and appeared in Austin Powers in Goldmember) reminded us when she appeared at the 2012 TV Land Awards (airing on TV Land April 29), where the Fox sketch show is receiving the Groundbreaking Award. VH1 News couldn’t resist asking if she ever reminisces about the good old days with JLo.

“Actually, we don’t really talk much,” Inaba said. “She’s on that other show called American Idol. And even though American Idol and Dancing With the Stars are right next to each other, we don’t really talk that much. Just kidding, there’s no bad blood.”

The Top 10 Awesomely Bad Style Moments of the Yo! MTV Raps Era

Yo! MTV Raps Fashion Fails

Looking back at the style choices of the Yo! MTV Raps era sends us on a trip down memory lane. How cool were overalls in the ’90s? They’ve even tried to make a comeback (to which we plead please, folks, let them die!). Seeing Tupac in his custom made T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E overalls or Bobby Brown with his slanted high top fade reminds us of a time when rap was fun. As cool as these styles seemed then, today they would almost certainly make the what-not-to wear fashion list.

It’s all in good sport that we poke fun at the awesomely bad style moments of the Yo! MTV Raps era. Speaking of which, our two-hour special The 40 Greatest Yo! MTV Raps Moments airs this Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET/PT. In the meantime, reminisce on the styles we loved then and chuckle at now.

Marc Anthony Finally Files For Divorce From Jennifer Lopez

We actually forgot that these two were still married! Considering that Jennifer Lopez is cavorting with Casper Smart and Marc Anthony has Shannon de Lima, do you blame us? But the truth is that JLo and Marc did announce their plans to divorce last July, and while it’s taken them a while to actually get there, it’s finally becoming official. Marc filed his divorce papers earlier this week at the Los Angeles Superior Court. The date when the split will actually be legal is as “yet to be determined.”

The two main details of the divorce have been made public, though. He’s asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old twins Max and Emme, and should J.Lo ask for spousal support, he’s asking for it to be denied. Both parties have been doing quite well since the separation, and seem quite happy with their respective new partners. We don’t see this getting acrimonious in any way. But it’s still sad. We actually thought they were quite sweet together.

Jennifer Lopez Buys Casper Smart A Ram, Now That’s True Love

If a famous guy bought his much-younger girlfriend a fancy piece of jewelry for her birthday, it would hardly be newsworthy. So, yes, we’re succumbing to a total double standard by writing about Jennifer Lopez’s gift to Casper Smart for his 25th birthday — or possibly a bonus for all his hard work in her “Dance Again” video — a Dodge Ram 1500. The two were spotted in the shiny white truck leaving Ceccone’s, a West Hollywood Italian restaurant, on Friday night. A source told E! News that it was in fact Casper’s bday present.

We looked it up, because we New Yorkers aren’t that up on the price of pickups usually, and the Ram 1500 goes for an average of $22,000-$45,000. From the E! video of the Ceccone’s encounter, they did not opt for any special paparazzi plowing features. And couldn’t one of those overeager photogs just hop in the truck bed? Anyway, after seeing “Dance Again,” we’re picturing all sorts of adorable/hot ways JLo presented this gift to her honey. (One word: blindfold.)

Jennifer Lopez And Casper Smart’s 10 Hottest “Dance Again” Moves

In Jennifer Lopez’s new video for “Dance Again,” she and real-life boyfriend Casper Smart take turns blindfolding each other with a sash that reads “Love Is Blind.” But yeah, we don’t really believe that is the case with these two, especially not after watching them dance together in the clip. We can’t take our eyes off of them and get really annoyed every time Pitbull invades the scene with his gross lyrics about opening our “treasure chest” with oils. Shower, please. JLo’s featured her bfs in videos before, of course, but this one just may be the hottest. Maybe it’s Casper’s dance moves, maybe it’s their pure chemistry. Maybe it’s all that glitter. Paparazzi, you can retire now; we have seen way more of these two together than your cameras will ever catch.

Your Mega Peek Into The 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

We all know that the Vanity Fair Oscar Party is almost as big as the Oscar ceremony itself. And just as brights were a major Oscars 2012 trend, it was the same as the party. Rosie Huntington-Whitely wore a juicy, tangerine Antonio Berardi dress while Cameron Diaz went more orange with a Victoria Beckham number. Kate Upton, a pregnant Molly Sims, Salma Hayek, Abbie Cornish and Diane Kruger all wore shades of crimson.

It’s just a straight-up roll call of celebrities here: Elizabeth Olsen in black Christian Dior, Sofia Vergara in a white Robert Cavalli column, Brooklyn Decker in nude, beaded Valentino and Selena Gomez in Dolce & Gabbana. See what we mean? We’re not too sure about Zoe Saldana in her black, sheer Marios Schwab or January Jones in her Wes Gordon green-and-burgundy confused dress. Or Elizabeth Banks and her green-and-blue feathered Chadwick Bell dress. Jennifer Lopez wore the same designer as her Oscars dress, but this plunging, sparkling, plum version was even sexier.

2012 Oscar Metallics: Are Rose Byrne And Anna Faris Morphing Into Each Other?

Do Rose Byrne and Anna Faris have the same stylist? They look like twins on the red carpet! Even their hair is almost the same length and style. Both remarkably slender ladies wore similar gowns, although Rose’s Vivienne Westwood shows more skin than Anna’s Diane von Furstenberg. We do love us some black sequins, and even though she’s all covered up, Anna’s DVF has our vote.

Jennifer Lopez Nearly Suffers A Wardrobe Malfunction At The 2012 Oscars

With the exception of Sacha Baron Cohen dumping a pile of Bisquick “ashes” all over Ryan Seacrest during the live E! Pre-Show, the 2012 Academy Awards have been a bit of a snoozefest thus far. That is, until Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz took the stage to present an award. While Cameron Diaz prepared to read the winner of the Best Costume Design category, it appeared as if J.Lo’s left areola tried to escape her stunning dress. As you’ll see in the video above, it appears that someone signaled to the American Idol judge to cover up, as she demurely moved her hand to cover the offending area as quickly as possible.

Naturally, this has been a huge hit on Twitter. Comedienne Paula Pell tweeted that “J-Lo’s body wants to be seen. It’s trying to escape like a puppy in a pillowcase,” and someone just launched the @JLosNipple Twitter feed.

Jennifer Lopez And Casper Smart: United In Sunglasses And Coupledom

Jennifer Lopez has sunglasses on at night. Boyfriend Casper Smart is also wearing shades … because he’s a diva in training? Because you can only date J.Lo if you support her sartorial choices? Because he’s cool by association now? Whatever the reasons are, the sexy twosome made their way to Cipriani’s in New York after Jennifer made an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, where she responded to questions about her ex, Marc Anthony, FYI.

When asked what it was like working with Anthony on their show, Q’Viva! The Chosen, she said, “You know, its fun because we know each other so well, but it has its moments. The same things that … didn’t really work sometimes come up. You’re talking and you don’t agree on something and you’re like ‘Oh, be quiet!’ … You’ll see it on the show a little bit!” This is also what we’d like to call her “genteel diva” outfit.
