While goth was a major trend at the Golden Globes last night, another major direction that the fashion was inclined towards was the diametrically opposite — pastels. Shimmering nudes, pretty neutrals, and creamy white were all spotted on stars providing a wonderful foil to the ever-prevelant black. Leading this brigade was Amy Adams in a romantic nude Marchesa gown with a tulle fishtail complete with Tiffany & Co. jewelery. Isla Fisher also chose a nude palette but sparkled thanks to beaded embroidery that was sewn all over her love Reem Acra gown. Amanda Seyfried was another highlight in a shell, flowing, lace-panelled Givenchy Couture custom-made gown which had us sold. Megan Fox nailed it, as well, in a blush-colored, strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress with Jimmy Choo shoes, Lorraine Schwartz jewelery and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch. Bringing in the sexy were, who else, but Jennifer Lopez and Lea Michele. J.Lo worked it like a pro, pouring her curves in a nude Zuhair Murad long-sleeved gown covered in ivory lace overlay. Lea went her regular route by showing off some leg, but still looked quite lovely in a white, halter-necked, textured Elie Saab gown and bag paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Giambattista Valli heels. Heidi Klum also showed off some major stems in a one-shouldered white Alexandre Vauthier gown with gold, embellished trim.
Adding little washes of pastel color were Kelly Osbourne and Nicole Richie. Kelly chose a mint green, fishtail Zac Posen gown that somehow, ended up working with her lavender hair. She buffed up her outfit with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, a Judith Leiber bag and Jacob & Co jewels. Nicole, on the other hand, was elegant in an vintage-looking, old-Hollywood inspired, pale blue and white Naeem Khan gown. She even worked in pale blue eyeshadow — how’s that for retro? Check out all our looks compiled in the gallery below and tell us who got the thumbs-up.

This woman is so diva we can hardly handle it. But that’s Jennifer Lopez — impossibly gorgeous and larger than life — as is most evident from her February cover for Harper’s Bazaar, shot in Istanbul. Her interview cracked us up because we love how she thinks she sounds so everyday and normal but really isn’t. For instance, she brought up what happened to her infamous green Versace slashed dress, worn to the 2000 Grammys — you can get your memory check from the picture on the right. “I have that at home. The other day, my housekeeper put it on a mannequin in my spa, where I get my hair and makeup done. She sent me a picture. She was like, ‘You like this dress?’ Um, yeah, but I don’t know if I like it out in the house!” she says. Her boyfriend, Casper Smart, who’s also around, says, “But it’s famous! It’s the most famous dress you’ve ever worn.” Out of all of this, we basically got that J.Lo has a whole spa in her home just for hair and makeup. Of course she does. The other quote that made us giggle was, “I make it as simple and as beautiful as I can because my life is kind of big. So I pack my luggage, or dress myself, or comb my kids’ hair, pick up their clothes—that makes our life beautiful, you know? There’s something very elegant in that.” Oh, Jennifer. Never change!

Holidays or not, for those of us that work to rake the muck in the celebrity gossip world, wardrobe malfunctions are the gift that keep on giving. Next year, the Big Bang of wardrobe malfunctions, Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake Super Bowl event, turns nine-years-old, but the paparazzi show no signs of slowing down when it comes to catching celebrities with their pants down (sometimes quite literally).
2012 was a banner year for carelessness in the clothing department, one in which even genuinely classy celebs like Anne Hathaway and Emma Watson ended up showing off body parts only their significant others typically get to see. And, of course, not all celebs are unwilling participants in the Wardrobe Malfunction game; exhibitionist types like Coco, perpetual offender Lindsay Lohan, the chronically blazed Rihanna, and evil genius momager Kris Jenner all saw their profiles rise after strategically-timed slips. And don’t think we just picked on the ladies — we’ll #NEVERFORGET Kanye West‘s low-hanging drawers after a backseat romp with Kimmy K.
So whether these moments were intentional in nature or accidents, VH1 Celebrity’s gallery of the Top 25 Most Scandalous Wardrobe Malfunctions of 2012 captures them all for your viewing pleasure.

Remember during the Oscars this year, when people were searching on “Jennifer Lopez’s nipple” almost as much as they were looking for Angelina Jolie’s leg? (You are forgiven if you forgot, February was a long time ago.) Back then, we determined that it was just wishful thinking and shadows that some saw. But now, their patience and eagle eyes have been rewarded at last: As you can see above, JLo suffered a wardrobe malfunction onstage as she performed in Bologna, Italy.
According to E! Online, Lopez didn’t act the least bit embarrassed. She simply adjusted her skintight bodysuit (with the help of her backup dancers) and went on with the show. Also, it’s worth noting that all of Europe did not explode upon glimpsing said nipple — we’re pretty sure they just shrugged and laughed to themselves about what a big deal we’ll all make of it here in the U.S.

Ben Affleck is back in the spotlight now that his film Argo is doing the promotions rounds. Critics are already fawning over the movie, so that’s a good sign. He’s also on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter this week and the subject of an indepth interview which deals a lot with, not just the film, but the difference of who he is now — chilled husband and father — with his past as a party boy. That included going to rehab at 29, of which he says, ” went to rehab for being 29 and partying too much and not having a lot of boundaries and to clear my head and try to get some idea of who I wanted to be. It was more a ‘let me get myself straight,’ before it became a rite of passage.” His past also includes his ex-girlfriends, who he’s still in touch with, including Gwyneth Paltrow, his high school girlfriend, Cheyenne Rothman, and more importantly, the other half of the original “Bennifer” — Jennifer Lopez. It’s good to know that Ben’s the kind of guy who doesn’t hold on to anything bad, like messy break-ups, and is actually on friendly terms with all three ladies. Mostly, J.Lo, and he opens up about their current relatioship in this piece, revealing, “We don’t have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice, but we do have the kind of relationship where there’ll be an e-mail saying, ‘Oh, your movie looks great.’ I remember when she got American Idol. I said: ‘This was really smart. Good luck.’ I touch base. I respect her. I like her. She’s put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I’m really pleased to see her successful.” And here we were thinking that there was a morotorium on all things Lopez when the main Jennifer (Jennifer Garner, his wife) entered his life!

In truth, celebrities’ children are not actually any cuter than regular kids, and we should not be here to judge one small, nonprofessional child against the other. BUT. After spending a week perusing through squee-worthy Twitpics of Snooki’s and Vanessa Lachey’s babies, catching sightings of Halle Berry and Denise Richards taking their kids to the pumpkin patch, seeing Emme Anthony fall asleep on J.Lo’s lap at a Paris fashion show, and more, we decided we just had to do something with all of this collective cuteness. And so we decided to make you decide which of these is the most adorable of all. We’re sure you’ll be up for the task.

We wish we could be celebrity chauffeurs! OK, not anymore. As much as we’d love to hang out with our fave celebs all day, gathering juicy intel on them, it is apparently not worth the trouble. Jennifer Lopez is suing her former chauffeur for $20 million for extortion and defamation after claiming that he threatened to release damaging information about her. According to court documents obtained by E!, Lopez claims in the lawsuit that her driver, Hakob Manoukian, threatened to release “disruptive and potentially damaging” information about her unless she paid him $2.8 million. How rude! (Also, how much do these guys make that she can sue him for that much?
Lopez’s suit claims that an attorney for Manoukian, who sued Lopez, her manager, Benny Medina, and ex-husband Marc Anthony for breach of contract in April, demanded the nearly $3 million payday to avoid disclosing “sensitive and personal information that he had allegedly overheard” while working for Lopez.
After we published that mega brights gallery with Beyonce, Willow Smith and gang, we’ve had the on-trend colors of yellow and orange on our minds. It’s a little hard not to, considering we’re seeing them everywhere. A definitive example would be the throw-down that happened last night. Okay, it’s not a throw-down, but we’d like to call it one. Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Lopez both wore bright orange sheaths at different occasions to very diverse ends. Kylie wore a short-sleeved version, as you can see on the right, to the “Warhol-Mauro” private viewing at the Halcyon gallery in Bond street, London, yesterday. She ended up making the outfit look unbelievably elegant with bronze heels, a large white clutch, sexy wavy hair and nude makeup. Five stars to Ms. Minogue for taking such a juicy color and transforming it into one of the most chic ensembles we’ve seen in a while on her. On anyone for a while, for that matter!
On the other corner, we have Jennifer Lopez who celebrated her birthday on something called the “Utopia III” super-yacht that was decked out in preparation of the festivities at Chelsea Pier. J.Lo got decked up, as well, of course. She picked a long-sleeved version of the orange sheath, similar to the one worn by Kylie, and paired it with matching stilettos and a leopard-print clutch. And to make it even sexier, the back was completely bare, as you can see on the extreme right. Muy caliente, Ms. Lopez! So we have one look that was streamlined and as cool as can be, and one that was sizzling! But which orange, bodacious look did you prefer?

Jennifer Lopez Makes 43 Look Fly As Ever: Check Out Her 43 Looks Through The Years
The glamorous and gorgeous Jennifer Lopez seems to get more beautiful every day and today she turns 43! We first fell in love with the Bronx beauty as a Fly Girl on In Living Color, and now she’s made her mark on the world as an unstoppable power woman (not to mention, mom of two) and international superstar. She gained recognition starring in tons of movies in the late ’90s and early ’00s including Money Train, Out of Sight, The Wedding Planner and Maid in Manhattan. When her second album, J.Lo, came out, it was #1 on the Billboard charts the same exact week that her film, The Wedding Planner led in the box office. This made her the first person to achieve a #1 film and a #1 album in the same week. We are not worthy, Ms. Lopez. Oh, and did we mention that she is still kicking ass? Even though we’re sad to see her leave American Idol, we’re happy to see that she’s taking the time to focus on her music. She’s super busy packing arenas on her world tour with Enrique Iglesias, but then she’s going take a break from her non-stop schedule to premiere her new video for “Goin’ In” featuring Flo Rida on MTV tomorrow at 7:50 p.m. ET.
For her 43rd birthday, we want to take a look back on her through the years. She’s done so much in the time she’s spent in the spotlight and we’re always looking forward to seeing more from her.

Steven Tyler, we’re going to miss you. We tried to drape our great-grandma in scarves and seat her next to a DVD of Gigli, but it just wasn’t the same. American Idol definitely won’t be the same now that the Aerosmith singer decided not to return as an A.I. judge next season. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez seems to be on the fence about her involvement as well. “I am thinking that maybe it’s time for me to go and do other things that I really love to do,” JLo explained on Today…today. “Like films, and right now I’m on tour and performing — all the things that I do.” Cut to Randy Jackson hurling a chair through his dressing room mirror. Hey, that sounds like something Steven Tyler would do! While no greenrooms got trashed during his tenure (wait, were there any? We probably just didn’t hear about it), the Aerosmith singer did have a lot of insane moments during his tenure on the show. For example…
