We thought Emma Stone looked amazing as a redhead, but she totally blew us away with her new blonde look this weekend. Stone and about a thousand other celebs were on hand for the Trevor Live show to benefit The Trevor Project this weekend, and she earned an easy A for her new look. We hear she’s lightened her locks for her role as Gwen Stacy in the new Spiderman movie, but we kinda hope she sticks with this look for a while.

In case you missed VH1 Divas Salute the Troops we have two words for you: Katy Perry. The California Gurl rocked the two-hour show in no less than four outfits — not to mention she sang from a parachute and ran through “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” with hip-hop’s new queen Nicki Minaj. Her skintight latex army outfit and her jaw dropping Jessica Rabbit dress made for moments where it was hard to focus on anything other than her Divalicious body. We’ve gathered 20 of the sexiest Katy Perry pics from the show. Which one’s your favorite?
Bonus: In the clip below check out Katy Perry proudly admit she’s a diva and watch her channel Beyonce as she sings Bey’s hit song “Diva.” [Photo: Getty Images]
VH1 Divas Salute The Troops was chock-full of stellar performances, spectacular visuals (hello, synced fireworks!) and lots and lots of sex appeal. Keri Hilson‘s gyrating hips, Katy Perry‘s relentless curves and Grace Potter‘s soon-to-be legendary legs were responsible for bib-necessary droolage. We can’t even imagine how the Marines coped in person. Check out our top ten sexiest moments – even Nicki Minaj‘s cotton candy-esque wig made the cut! Yum! [Photos: Getty Images]
VH1 Divas Salute the Troops taped Friday night in front of thousands of pumped-up marines and their families at a military base in San Diego. HOORAH! And while the show doesn’t air until tonight (Dec. 5), we got our hands on an exclusive sneak peek of one of the most highly anticipated duets: Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj doing “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” NOTE to all you Nicki fans, this sneak does NOT have Nicki in it. You’ll have to tune in to the actual show to see how Nicki does Cyndi Lauper proud.
Although Nicki’s not in this clip, we can say that she generated a massive amount of buzz when she took the stage in her Lady Gaga-esque blond wig. The marines definitely love them some Katy & Nicki in tight mini-skirts and high heels. HOORAH! We can also say Katy and Nicki have great on-stage chemistry.
SPOILER ALERTS: In addition to the duet, Katy performs “California Gurls” and “Firework” and Nicki performs “Right Thru Me.” She performed “Moment 4 Life” and “Roman’s Revenge” for the troops, but those won’t make it on TV. Nicki Minaj also won’t be in the VH1 Divas opening act, as we previously reported. Watch VH1 Diva Salute the Troops tonight at 9/8c.
VH1 Divas performer Katy Perry‘s style can be described with the name of her current hit single, “Firework.” It’s loud, bright, and never fails to induce “Ooos” and “Ahhs.” Whether she’s in skin-tight latex, covered in fake fruit, or wearing little but sequins, Perry always looks playful and sexy, with a dash of retro. Check out her 50 hottest outfits and be sure to tune into VH1 Divas Salute The Troops tomorrow night, 12/5, at 8/9c! [Photos: Getty Images, ]

Update: Nicki Minaj will not be in the opening act, but will be performing a duet with Katy Perry and performing “Right Thru Me.”
We were able to snag some raw footage from VH1 Divas Salute the Troops while watching rehearsals last night at a military base in San Diego, and we’re happy to be able to give you this spoiler: The show will open with a hot rendition of the WWII-era megahit “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.” The number features Katy Perry, Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj (although she’s not in this clip), and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland.
This isn’t the first time that the iconic song has been revamped — En Vogue did a short R&B version in 1990 and Christina Aguilera‘s “Candyman” is a tribute to the Andrew Sisters, who first released the song in 1941. But after watching the VH1 Divas performers rehearsing, we’re convinced it’ll be the most mind-warping take on it yet!
We can’t give away too many details, but suffice it to say the opener will take viewers from an ultra close copy (think very sexy retro!) of the original to a beat-heavy version that makes Nicki Minaj’s rap style feel right at home. We can also say we’re 100 percent confident that the troops will eat this act up. These four Divalicious women, who’ll be shakin’ it in white and gold mesh corset dresses that barely reach their thighs, kill the song and look amazing while doing it. To see the full act in all of its glory, watch VH1 Divas Sunday, Dec. 5 at 9/8c and get updates while the show tapes tonight on TheFABlife’s twitter account. Big props to VH1 News’ Jason Zucker for shooting this, bootleg style!
Spoiler Alert #2: This won’t be the only unusual pop/rap hybrid in the show — stay tuned for a duet by MC Lyte and country band Sugarland.
Katy Perry‘s lips have a lot of varied functions: kissing girls and liking it, kissing Russell Brand and loving it, singing, and being used as fashion accessories. Cue Katy’s limited edition Harper’s Bazaar cover for December. The Grammy-nominated singer has 150 red Swarovski Element crystal Swarovski Elements studded on her lips and looks gorgeous!
The accompanying interview is vintage Katy entertainment. “Honey, I am the chief of my train. If critics want to hop on board, fantastic. There’s plenty of room. The KP train is fun.” All aboard! But if magazines aren’t your thing, be sure to catch Katy performing for VH1 Divas Salute the Troops (Sunday, Dec. 5, at 9/8c).

Katy Perry has already tweeted a stream of thank yous today after Teenage Dream got a Grammy nomination for Album Of The Year. It’s a smart move, since judging from backlash Katy’s victory got on the Twittersphere, it doesn’t seem likely she’s in shooting range of winning (shouting “hell yes!” before clasping her hands in prayer probably won’t help either). But is it really so strange that she got a nod? Here are five reasons this shouldn’t be so much of a surprise.
- Anything released after September 30th wasn’t eligible. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy? Not eligible. Shakira‘s highly praised Sale El Sol? Not eligible. Single of the year nominee Cee-Lo‘s album? Not eligible. Kings Of Leon? Not eligible. 2009 Grammy nominee Jamey Johnson‘s Top 10 critic’s pick The Guitar Song? Released just two weeks before the cut-off. Meanwhile, Song Of The Year nominee Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 barely made the September 1st ’09 cut off—we’re impressed voters remembered it was eligible for Best Rap Album!
- She’s hardly the first bubblegum act to be nominated. Really, is this any more absurd than The Backstreet Boys being nominated in 2000 for Millenium? Or The Black Eyed Peas for The E.N.D. last year? In 1990, they nominated MC Hammer and Wilson Phillips. No offense to any of the esteemed artists above, but their journey to the Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Fame will probably be a long one despite the NARAS accolades.
While this video isn’t exactly a performance, it’s the first actual footage to be released that will air as part of VH1 Divas Salute the Troops — and it gives a good hint as to the show’s overall scope and tone. What we learn is that the Divas’ salute to the troops isn’t just lip service. While the show is headquartered at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego (i.e., Top Gun land), Paramore performs at a real-life military base in Kuwait.
And Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams‘ pep talk to the troops comes off as genuinely sincere. “I don’t want you to ever forget how much we appreciate what you’re doing,” says Hayley, wearing a sparkling blue bodysuit (eye candy in the middle of the desert!). “When we go back home, you’re not forgotten. We think about you guys all the time and we love you guys.”
Watch the clip above to see the troops eating it up. Bragging rights to anyone who can guess the song Paramore starts to perform. Hint: We’re pretty sure Hayley mentions part of the title in her speech. VH1 Divas Salute the Troops will feature performances by Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Keri Hilson and more. It airs Sunday, Dec. 5 at 9/8c.
This ain’t your Grammy’s Grammy’s! The Recording Academy announced their nominees for the 2011 Grammy Awards last night, and some of the biggest acts in music took to the stage for a live concert. VH1 Diva Katy Perry stole the show with an explosive performance to go with her Album of the Year nod, while fellow Diva Hayley Williams was also on hard to celebrate. Justin Bieber could only be there via satellite, but Bruno Mars and B.o.B picked up the slack with a rocking rundown of “Nothing On You.” Check out the gallery below for more of last night’s highlights, and be sure to tune in to VH1 Diva’s Salute To The Troops on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 9/8c. for more of your favorite artists!
