Why are things looking bad for Lindsay Lohan once more? And who just got left out of an impromptu Charlie’s Angels reunion this past weekend? The answers to this, plus a sneak peak of Emma Watson as a bad girl in this morning’s The Scoop.
Look out, because we might have a good ol’ fashioned Disney Dad Throw-Down on our hands. Demi Lovato’s estranged father Patrick has not been shy with his opinions that the break-neck Hollywood lifestyle is to blame for his daughter’s emotional collapse. In fact, he’s been talking about it so much that he has received numerous death threats.
And you know what? All of Patrick’s talk about his daughter’s problems has rubbed Michael Lohan the wrong way. You remember Michael Lohan, right? He’s the guy who became famous for talking about his daughter’s problems in the press. Having regained his parental cred by being permitted to spend time with his institutionalized daughter Lindsay, Mike decided to offer some pearls of wisdom to another dad in a tough spot.
“There are two reasons why I have no respect for people who talk or comment about others,” Michael told Popeater. “First, it’s because, in most cases, those individuals are looking from the outside in, and they are passing judgment or commenting on people they know nothing about. The second reason is because they are too cowardly to say it to the person themselves.”
We’ll let that sink in for a moment. Michael Lohan went to the press and criticized Demi’s dad for talking to the press, despite the fact that Michael himself said he would stop talking to the press in an interview with the press OH MY GOD STOP THIS CRAZY THING!
Michael also issued a warning to Patrick, should he dare to compare Demi with Lindsay. “I ask Demi Lavato’s father to refrain from making asinine statements about my daughter, or say it to my face himself,” he said. “And if so, I will pay for the transportation and his hospital bills.”
We think that would be an incredible fight. There would be no winners, but two losers.

TMZ discovered that Lindsay Lohan was actually not lying (Sorry Michael Lohan!) when she said she had a plane ticket from the South of France to L.A. She had to get home in time for last Thursday’s court hearing, and the trouble started because of that darn volcano ash, followed by Lindsay’s passport being stolen.
They’ve got their hands on an invoice from Executive Travel and Parking which is the travel agency Lindsay used to book the flight. It reads that Lindsay bought a $6,860.50 ticket (wow) on Swiss International Air Lines, leaving Nice on Wednesday, May 19 at 10:40 AM, stopping in Zurich and reaching L.A. at 4:40 PM the same day. The D.A apparently didn’t believes LiLo when she said she had a ticket before her passport was nicked. Well, there’s the proof!

There’s some new drama in everyone’s favorite family of dysfunction. Lindsay Lohan‘s ladyfriend Samantha Ronson, who makes her living spinning records for the rich and musically tasteless, was recently asked to DJ at Sephora’s anniversary party. According to Page Six, domineering momager Dina Lohan decided to lend a hand with Sam’s set, suggesting she play little Lohan Ali’s brand new single “All the Way Around.”
A source told The Post Sam refused, but now Sam’s taken to the internet to defend her (possible) love’s lil sis. Sam sets the record straight in a four-part diatribe against rumors. “I really like the song – as soon as her myspace page goes up it will be a song of the day,” she outlines in point number one. And while she normally wouldn’t sink so low as to address this rumor, she explains why in a subset of point four: “i wouldn’t be responding to this one- but i’m afraid that people might actually believe that and that’s not fair to Ali. She’s 14 years old- high school is bad enough- do tabloids really need to torture teenagers as well?” Fair enough, Sam.
Sam finishes up the post with a multi-layered nod, saying she’s currently listening to Lindsay Lohan’s Rumors. Though we know its a jab at celebrity culture, maybe it’s proof that Sam did play Ali’s song, as she’s clearly got no taste in music…
