From the West Village of NYC to the suburbs of LA, celebrity parents hit the pavement with their kiddies to gather candy on Halloween. Jon Stewart donned a pirate’s hat as he and the fam strolled in Manhattan. Kate Beckinsale brought daughter Lily to a party in Santa Monica. Christina Aguilera looked darling in coordinating skeleton outfits with son Max. A top-hatted Paul Rudd took son Jack out-and-about in NYC. It’s nice to see the innocent side of the oft-skankified holiday. [Photos: Getty Images and Splash News Online]

She was the last Spice Girl to sign up to their last reunion, and from the picture above it seems that Mel C’s not exactly looking forward to the latest money-spinning project. (Oh, all right, we have no idea whether she is or not. Mel C is looking drab and dowdy above as she launches her new role in the long-running West End musical Blood Brothers.)
But as rumored, there is a top-secret new Spice project, and it’s looking to be a TV hunt to find a new generation of girls to zig-a-zig-ahh on stage. Following in the footsteps of many successful British TV talent searches of recent times, Mel C, B, Geri, Emma and Victoria would audition to find version of themselves for a new stage musical. “It’s a fantastic new way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs,” reports The Sun. You don’t say. What’s all that hard work for if you can’t show off those rock hard abs? Mel B makes good use of her washboard stomach by posing for the new Ultimo Autumn/Winter 2009 line in Las Vegas. Mel B hosted a Hot Bodies event at Tao Beach in Vegas this weekend, and it’s easy to see why she got the job—Scary Spice is cut! Not that she wasn’t always fit, but Mel must have spent the last two months doing nothing but crunches. Bet husband Stephen Belafonte was sucking in every time he stood next to the 34-year-old mother of two. She’d put anyone to shame!

Mel B finally got her chance last night to debut her long awaited burlesque Peep Show in Las Vegas and good God she wasn’t joking about wearing the “tiniest thong and fishnets.” We had to look closely — for professional reasons, of course — to check she was even wearing a thong at all. And although she didn’t actually get her boobs out, with that precise decoration, we’re left in no doubt at all exactly where those Spice nipples are. She definitely looks in terrific shape, but just for their sakes, we hope daughters Phoenix Chi and Angel don’t turn up to watch their mom shake her ya-yas. That’s the stuff years of therapy are made of. [Photos: Splash News Online]

Really, does she? The Spice Girl is back in her UK homeland at the moment, and she’s prancing around the country promoting, oh something or other. We can’t remember what. We wish someone would tell us just WHY she’s over here at the moment. Oh well. Maybe it’ll come back to us soon. [Photo: Splash News Online]
Mel B definitely has one of the fiercest bodies going these days, but we have to question the way she showed it off on the red carpet last night at the MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) awards in London. Spice Mama Mel was over in London to host the show, and rocked up looking like a cross between Grace Jones and Kylie Minogue in the Can’t Get You Out Of My Head video with a hooded dress. (Later, she moved the hood down to over her shoulders, which leads us to think her stylist was frantically shouting, “Mel! Mel! It’s not supposed to go over your head!” at her from the crowds).
Throughout the show — which saw British star Estelle pick up two awards and Leona Lewis get booed for not turning up at all Mel changed into a few different outfits, channelling at various points, Britney Spears in the Oops I Did It Again era, and someone wearing a cat on their head.
But it was all in vain for poor Mel. Because the real deal was there, showing you just how to wear a hood, a mask and still look scary/cool at the same time. We give you Grace Jones. May she never change. [Photos: Getty Images]
