It wasn’t a groundbreaking red carpet at the 2012 American Country Awards — held last night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Vegas — but it certainly was a colorful one. Kristin Chenoweth made sure she stood out in an electric blue Rafael Cennamo gown with Jimmy Choo heels. Her Martin Katz earrings matched the gown, as well. Natasha Bedingfield chose bright green, with a floor-length gown that has a long, key-hole neckline that showed off plenty of cleavage. Carmen Electra may have been wearing white, but with that intricate bodice and that perfectly placed slit in the skirt, could you have missed her?
Carrie Underwood picked a sparkling peach flapper style mini-dress by Georges Chakra Couture dress with complementary fringed gold heels by Brian Atwood. Lindell jewlery, and a Daniel Swarovski clutch also were a part of the ensemble. Miranda Lambert was eye-catching, but for all the wrong reasons, in an ill-fitting, not very flattering black and silver Reem Acra dress and boring Giuseppe Zanotti Design shoes. Jacob & Co. jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch finished the outfit. LeAnn Rimes wore a figure-hugging but sombre, black Dolce & Gabbana dress with super hot Tom Ford shoes and large clutch, a Lori Rodkin ring and Shylee Rose earrings. Read more…
Where there is a best-dressed, there has to be a worst-dressed. It’s the yin and yang of a red carpet. You’re already aware of the Miley Cyrus tuxedo disaster at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards? She had
good bad company at the event, as well. Here’s the thing about Katy Perry‘s flowing lavender Blumarine gown. It would have been great if it had taken it down a notch in the shine department. It looks almost synthetic, and that deep plum lipstick feels wrong with it. Julianne Hough‘s gold sequin Kaufman Franco dress suffered from the same problem. It also looked like an embellished towel wrapped around her body, though we feel a little more makeup may have suited this look.
Sticking to the shimmer department was Julie Bowen‘s Doo.Ri strapless dress. It looked ill-fitting, and that one shining panel down the front didn’t do wonders for her, especially with her clunky heels. We actually liked Zooey Deschanel‘s sparkly Moschino number, even though it was badly fitted, but she ruined the lightness of the outfit by adding those black tights. Lacey Scwhimmer‘s shimmery panelled dress just went straight to tacky — and what was up with those candy-colored hair extensions? Normally, embellished gowns do well at awards shows. Not so much the case at this event, as you can see.
Another misstep came from Nelly Furtado. The label of the dress was all right — Alberta Ferretti. But the white crochet translated pretty badly on her body, making her look boxy, when we know that Nelly isn’t. Sticking to the same color scheme was Amber Rose who really needs to be told that there is no harm in going up a size. Too tight, Amber! Way too tight! She looked like she was about to spill out any moment. But, as always, the final verdict lies with you. What do you think of the ensembles? Take a look at the gallery below and give us your opinions.

What a charming name for a ball. The 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball took place at Cipriani’s, New York, and Sarah Jessica Parker really took it upon herself to dress accordingly, looking like a very convincing snowflake in a white silk, cut-work and feather trimmed Louis Vuitton dress — part of the same collection Kate Moss closed earlier this year. Looking at lot more slinky were Uma Thurman and Angie Harmon, who nailed it in a skintight green dress and a shimmery halter gown, respectively.
Other celebrities included couples like Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle (who also looked great in a red gown slit high up the thigh) and Mark Ruffalo with his delightfully named wife, Sunrise. Vera Farmiga, Zoe Kravitz and Natasha Bedingfield were also spotted, the latter two wearing color-blocked black and white. To check it all out, click through our gallery below.

Congrats go to Taylor Swift for winning her second Entertainer of the Year trophy at last night’s Country Music Awards. But who should win our kudos for being the most spectacularly dressed at the Nashville ceremony? Um, Miss Piggy, obvs. The porcine beauty sported a dangerously short, shimmery champagne-colored dress onstage that we’re sure made Kermit wonder if he’s a mammal after all.
What really popped out last night (besides Kermit’s eyes), was the crazy variety of gowns, short, long, poofy and totally wacko. Taylor’s train must have spanned the entire length of the red carpet. Erin Andrews did Barbie proud in a short hot-pink number. Laura Bell Bundy‘s completely open royal-blue skirt revealed a beaded beige bodysuit — a look that was crazy but surprisingly flattering on her. Susie Brown of the JaneDear Girls accessorized her pink and purple ruffles with a cupcake purse. Natasha Bedingfield donned an entire carpet to perform. Martina McBride rebelled and wore pants. And of course, host Carrie Underwood embraced every single trend with her many gown changes throughout the night.
Flip through these many photos and decide for yourself if Miss Piggy had any rivals in the fashion department.

Four lovely ladies turned up for the Avon Awards Foundation Gala 2011 at the Marriott Marquis in New York last night. Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield, Delta Goodrem and Ashley Greene walked the red carpet, each channeling completely different looks. (Trivia time: The latter two women have both been romantically linked to a Jonas brother. Ashley dated Joe Jonas, while Delta is currently with Nick Jonas.)
Ashley was glam in a one-shouldered, cobalt-blue dress. She also did something new with her hair, and we dig the finger waves. We just wish she’d smile more. And is it just us, or does she have way too much makeup on? Delta left her long blond hair flowing, which worked with her lace-detailed, Grecian-inspired gown. Fergie wore a blush-colored dress with a center-ruffle details and a blazer, and Natasha looked sexy in a black frock split at the cleavage with pink pumps. We can’t decide who worked it best, so we’re leaving the decision to you. Have a look at our gallery and vote, after the jump. Read more…
Get lost Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Woodstock: there’s a new epic concert in town! It would probably be easier to name who WASN’T at the iHeartRadio music festival this weekend in Las Vegas than try to tackle the luminous lineup. It’s seems like every big name in entertainment showed their face at the MGM Hotel to groove to the sounds of bands new and old. Lady Gaga ruled supreme (of course) with a hot show including special guest Sting. But the highlight of her set was the emotional tribute to Jamey Rodemeyer, the 14-year-old Gaga fan who committed suicide last Sunday after being tormented by bullies for his homosexuality. Have a tissue ready.
Some of the bigger acts also included Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Carrie Underwood, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, and we haven’t even scratched the surface. Even the Black Eyed Peas took a hiatus from their hiatus to perform! Check out the gallery below to see which of your favorites tore up the stage and lit up the red carpet!

We’re saluting Kate Hudson right about now. She looks like she’s about to pop and getting dressed up for movie premieres can’t be the most comfortable thing to do at this stage. But look at her! She looks absolutely stunning in that primrose yellow Versace gown! She wore it to the Hollywood premiere of Something Borrowed held at Grauman’s Chinese theatre yesterday. Isn’t it the perfect choice? We couldn’t hope to look half as good, and we’re not eight months pregnant!
Even though the silhouette is completely different, we don’t know why we were reminded of that other iconic yellow dress she wore on screen in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. Looks like yellow is her color! Kate finished up her look with a ring and earrings from her new collaboration with Chrome Hearts called CH + KH. All the other celebrities paled in comparison, but we’ve put a gallery together of the event for you to check out. Ginnifer Goodwin, Hilary Swank, Kat Graham and more in the photos below.

The Heart Truth Red Dress show opened New York Fashion Week yesterday. And what a show it was! The annual show has celebrities wearing different red dresses as symbols to help inspire women to get proactive with heart disease awareness.
The star of the show was Dita von Teese, who killed it in a scarlet Zac Posen gown. Camila Alves came a close second looking statuesque in Kaufman Franco column — but then again, she is a model! Suzanne Somers wore a flirty flounced Ina Soltani number, and we have to say, she looked pretty damn great too. A chestnut haired Denise Richards looked gorgeous in Matthew Williamson, while Patti LaBelle shut it down in a dramatic Zang Toi creation. Take a look at the gallery below to see the likes of Audrina Patridge, Eve, Natasha Bedingfield and more, including a very pregnant Laila Ali in A Pea in the Pod,  rock the runway.
Can you feel the rain on your skin, guys? Natasha Bedingfield, she of the incredibly catchy tunes, popped into VH1 headquarters to dish on her outfit of the day. She was super down to earth and adorable about her “low-key” style, and told us she got inspiration from fellow fierce females Madonna and Blondie’s Debbie Harry.
Check out video of Natasha forking over the deets on her dress, heels and jewels as well as a gallery with look for less options, below!
