Whoa daddy! It’s a happy time for Steve Martin, as the comedy god has recently become a father for the first time…at the age of 67! His wife Anne Stringfield apparently gave birth way back in December, and the pair have managed to keep their bundle a secret til now.
Paul McCartney may be turning 70 this year, but “the cute Beatle” still has no trouble attracting the ladies! Dozens of stars turned out on Friday for the L.A. premiere of Macca’s “My Valentine” music video, which the pop legend directed himself! Kristen Stewart put in an appearance, but seemed to have left her rebel roots at home as she made an entrance in a super preppy skirt and blazer. We wonder what her rock ‘n’ roll godmother Joan Jett, who showed up wearing her trademark punky black leather, must have said. But that’s just the tip of the A-list iceberg. Gwen Stefani, Miranda Kerr, Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Zooey Deschanel, Pam Anderson…will the hotties never cease? Beatlemania is alive and well, folks. Check out more in the gallery below!

The return of Mad Men is so close we can smell it, and it smells like Lucky Strikes and Canadian Club. The record busting series has made its stars Jon Hamm, January Jones, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss the hottest names in television. But the show also features some already-familiar faces. Community‘s Alison Brie has a recurring role as Trudy Campbell, while former House regular Anne Dudek often appears as Betty Draper’s gossipy neighbor Francine. Tom Hanks‘ son Colin, The Nanny star Charles Shaughnessy, and even Secret World of Alex Mack actress Larisa Oleynik are among the many who’ve taken smaller roles on the series over the years.
Over the winter we heard mutterings that 1960s icon Paul McCartney would be putting in a guest appearance on the retro-show this season. Devastatingly it never happened, but we’ve put together a few suggestions for cameos that we know would bring down the house. From Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, to Coco and Ryan Gosling, check out the gallery below for a distinctly FABLife-tinged look at Mad Men! And watch the video to get even more pumped up for the premiere this Sunday!
Congratulations, Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell! The former Beatle and the New York businesswoman got married yesterday afternoon at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London. Paul was obviously in a jovial mood as he left their home for the venue, joking with all the photographers assembled outside, saying, “What’s going on? What are you all doing here?” Paul and Nancy have been dating since 2007 and he popped the question earlier this year in May.
Nancy wore an ivory dress and shoes by Paul’s daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney, who also made the navy suit her Dad wore on the day. A reception was also held at the new couple’s home at St Johns Woods afterwards. How many famous faces attended? Plenty, as expected. Check out the wedding and reception photographs in the gallery below. All you need is love!

Here at The FAB Life, they don’t come much bigger than one of the original fabs, Paul McCartney! The legend added a new notch to his musical resume last night with the New York City premiere of his ballet composition, Ocean’s Kingdom. It was certainly a family affair, as Paul was joined in Lincoln Center by his fashionista daughter Stella, musician son James, and rumored fiancee Nancy Shevell. But even more stars turned out by the galaxy-load to watch the unveiling of the work for themselves. Sarah Jessica Parker turned up in what appeared to be a lace tablecloth, while the lovely Liv Tyler shown in a see-through black gown. A very trim Alec Baldwin kept things classy in a tux, while Jon Bon Jovi and Little Stevie Van Zandt kept the rock ‘n’ roll flag flying high. And Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees made an appearance to up the WTF factor. He’s had an opening in his calender since 1969.
On the way to the theater, the-still-pretty-cute Beatle admitted to feeling “quietly confident and nervous” about how his work would go down with the crowd of famous faces. “I’d seen the great traditional ballets like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, but I had a very limited knowledge of ballet,” he told the Press Association. “Since this project I’ve obviously started to take notice.” But don’t except him to pirouette for us anytime soon. “I went to see Giselle recently in London and was bowled over by the sheer athleticism of the dancers,” he said. “The next day I tried to do one of the steps and failed dismally.” Although our idolization of him is so intense, we’d gladly pay big bucks for a show called Paul McCartney Fails At Dancing For Two Hours. Plus it would remind us of our prom. Check out more from last night in the gallery below!

Looks like four years with Heather Mills hasn’t turned Paul McCartney off marriage for good. People reports that the 68-year-old former Beatle is engaged to girlfriend Nancy Shevell, whom he started dating in 2007, while separated from 2nd wife Mills. McCartney was married to first wife Linda for nearly 30 years before her 1998 death, and Shevell, 51, walked hand-in-hand with Paul and his daughter, Mary, 41, at the Orange British Academy Film Awards in February. If the kids love Nancy—Paul had four with Linda and a daughter, 7, with Mills—then we do too!
Denying this kind of news just doesn’t seem like his bag, especially with the pair being increasingly public of late (they just attended the Met Gala together), and a rep for McCartney confirmed the news to CNN. “I just like being in love” is all he’d say about Nancy in 2008, though, so don’t expect him to start tweeting haikus or anything.

Coachella 2011 just ended and as usual, tons of stars were around – both onstage and off – at the music festival. They all wore their best hippie chic gear, as is evident with the likes of Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Vanessa Hudgens (who, we kid you not, wore printed bell-bottoms). Some ladies did represent vintage, like Dita von Teese who looked like a 1940’s pin-up in a sailor hat, and Katy Perry, who went quasi-flapper!
It’s no secret that we have a massive crush on Ian Somerhalder and we’ve resolutely ignored rumors of him and Nina Dobrev dating because IT ISN’T HAPPENING. So him and Nina at Coachella? Casually almost draped over each other? Hanging out with Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger? Just because those two are a couple, doesn’t mean it’s a double date! (Someone hold us while we cry.) For more skinny — quite literally with ladies like Whitney Port and Kate Bosworth — on who was there, check out our gallery below. [Photos: Splash News Online]
The results of this year’s Super Bowl are in! No matter which team hits the most home-runs into the net (or however it works), the winner of Super Bowl XLV will be the Black Eyed Peas. The band has just been tapped to play the coveted halftime gig on February 7th at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This is just the highlight of a stellar month for the group, in which they earned an AMA for Best Pop Group and got serious buzz for their upcoming album The Beginning, which comes out tomorrow.
The Peas will be a change of pace for the Super Bowl Sunday crowd, who have been favoring classic rock bands following the fall-out from Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson‘s controversial performance in 2004. We guess they thought it was unlikely for Paul McCartney or Bruce Springsteen to have a “wardrobe malfunction.” But times have changed, and apparently FOX is ready for a dose of Fergie’s humps.
“They could have picked anybody,” will.i.am gushed to Rolling Stone. “They could rock a million and get Cheap Trick. I love me some Cheap Trick, those motherf—ers is dope. But it says something that they picked us.” But it says something that they picked us.” Maybe it says that baby-boomer bands aren’t drawing ratings like they used to, and Gaga was busy. But can we expect a Black Eyed Peas-Cheap Trick duet!? That would be enough awesome to win every Super Bowl until the end of time.

If you want to have a sneaky peek at Sir Paul McCartney’s house in St John’s Wood, North London, well, you can’t, unless you go there yourself. The former Beatle has had his home removed from Google Street View after security fears, leaving a big black square where nosey fans could previously have a look at his hedge and criticize his choice of curtains.
Expect swathes of other over-cautious celebs to follow suit — leaving online black holes all over the chi-chi areas of London, New York and L.A. — and thereby drawing more attention to their roads than ever, where others may not have known famous people lived. Oh dear. [Photo: Splash News Online]
It’s nice to see Paul McCartney appears to have found love again after being taken for a ride by ex-wife Heather Mills, but why is his new lady Nancy Shevell wearing these bizarre plastic glitter leggings?!
Nancy sported this odd choice in Reynolds plastic wrap-inspired legwear, which made her stems appear slightly reptilian as the couple attended the Natural Resources Defense Council 11th Annual Forces For Nature benefit in New York City, which honored Paul’s daughter Stella McCartney.
