When Theophilus London isn’t calling Basketball Wives’ Tami Roman a gremlin and covering it up, the flashy Brooklyn rapper is making a move for all kinds of ladies, including Seal’s soon-to-be ex-wife Heidi Klum. On Wednesday, at the amfAR New York Gala kicking of Fall 2012 Fashion Week, Theophilus took to Twitter to show off his “new boo.” He tweeted:
An hour later, Theophilus tweeted how he planned to “chill” with the German supermodel. As if one hot mama isn’t enough, Theophilus snagged photos with Janelle Monae and Dina Lohan (hotness is relative here) while at the gala. That night, he tweeted his photo alongside a photo of Angela Simmons on the red carpet. As if Theophilus hasn’t put his stamp on Fashion Week and its female attendees, the alternative hip-hop playboy also “curated” the music at Rebecca Minkoff’s fall/winter fashion show today at 3 p.m. while “the babes” walked the runway. “Guests are LOVING the combination of live music and exquisite design,” the official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Twitter said. And the designer herself seemed pleased, posting a photo and writing, “Dying over @TheophilusL at soundcheck. Holy Sh+T!!!!! yfrog.com/gzjj0qfpj”
Seems like Heidi might have some competition!

Style Seen: Theophilus London’s Got Sparkle And Swag
It was difficult for us to tear our eyes away from the wonder that is Lindsay Lohan’s new set of bangs and bizarre hairy wrists at last night’s amFAR Gala. But it was an event to kick off New York Fashion Week, so there was plenty more to see. Heidi Klum attending solo for instance, in a dazzling gold-and-black dress. Miss Universe Leila Lopes shining in red. Kellan Lutz looking like he’s modeling in a prom tuxedo catalog. Jennifer Hudson and Cindy Crawford palling around and both showing off some impressive cleavage. Terry Richardson appearing to keep his hands to himself. VH1 News was on the red carpet, so check out the vid below to get their A-listers inside scoop on Fashion Week!

While we’ve spent some time this week admiring the very practical wardrobe choices of the stars at the Sundance Film Festival, we also had a few SMH moments as we flipped through some pics from Park City. Some celebrities refuse to trade in their typical Hollywood red-carpet style for puffy coats and Sorels. Take Estelle, for instance, who was at the festival for the first time.
“It’s cold! It’s snowy and cold! Why do they do this here?” the British songstress asked VH1 News as we noticed her beautiful, but very delicate, sparkly pumps. “Darling, I have to be fabulous! I don’t want duck boots! I have duck boots; I left them home in New York.”
But if she comes back again next year, she’ll give in. “I will be here in furs, big thick jumpers, boots, and I will not take them off for anybody. Layers are cute.”
Check out all the other stars who sacrificed comfort for style, including Paris Hilton, Kate Bosworth, AnnaLynne McCord and more. And you can find the rest of VH1 News’ Sundance interviews right here.

Someone forgot to tell Theophilus London and his fans at New York’s Terminal 5 last night that he was just the opening act. The place was packed and jumping hours before headliners Friendly Fires hit the stage. And though we were definitely there to hear Theophilus’ exciting blend of soul, hip-hop and electro-pop, we were also thrilled to see the up-and-comer’s eclectic style in person. Just as he can appeal to hip-hop heads while landing a spot on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack, he can wear ripped jeans, a sequined shirt (he designed himself) AND NIKE AIR MAGS! Closer looks after the jump.
