Check Out All Of Adam Lambert’s Different Looks From VH1 Divas

Adam Lambert's Oufits During VH1 Divas

All hail The Glambert! Because that’s exactly what Adam Lambert is — super glamorous and fabulous all rolled into one. The amazo singer was not only the host of VH1 Divas last night but he also performed a couple of numbers on stage to a very happy audience. As expected, we got some grade-A Glambert fashionable outfit changes all night. We’ve put together all eight for you  in the gallery below, but we can’t help but discuss some of our most special looks. Topping that list is Adam’s grey hounds-tooth suit worn while hosting. Sounds demure? Not a chance. Adam spruced it up by adding metallic spikes to the shoulder. We also have his ‘Crusades’ chic and Top Gun trendy outfits. The latter was a jumpsuit, obvs, but zippered and nipped and tucked to make a huge fashion statement. The former was a tunic with patterns reminiscent of the Medieval Crusades. Glambert style, of course! Have a look at all our pictures and tell us what your favorite outfit is.

Lady Gaga Gets A Birthday Surprise On Stage

Lady Gaga turned 25 yesterday, and in true Gaga fashion she celebrated her first quarter-century on stage, in front of thousands of people, covered in fake blood. Gaga’s backup dancers surprised her with a birthday cake (which also looked like it was covered in fake blood) at the end of her show last night. Gaga followed the performance, which was at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with a night of drinking and tacos at La Cita restaurant where she partied with Adam Lambert, Kate Hudson, and her boyfriend, Luc Carl.

For a few more pics of her on-stage birthday serenade, check out our Lady GaGallery below.

Adam Lambert’s New Hair: Discuss

We noticed over the past few days that American Idol alum Adam Lambert (not to be confused with his fellow homeless-but-not-really Idol contestant Alex Lambert) has been rocking a new hairstyle. Gone is the spiky, goth version of the Kate Gosselin, the look that made him famous. Now, Lambert’s been showing off a more product-free, looser and longer variation. Lambert went out to dinner in L.A. last night with his new hair down, and he’s attended a few other parties this week with his new look, too. (Please do yourself a favor and check out his insane getup at the RuPaul’s Drag Race premiere. Please.) What do you think, do you miss the old, hard-edged Lambert, or do you like the change of pace? If you can’t decide, maybe the close-ups of Lambert in our gallery will help.

TheFABLife’s 50 Hottest Fashion Moments Of 2010

Is it just us, or do there seem to be more and more televised award shows each year? That means one thing (and it has nothing to do with awards)—there’s more red carpet fashion than ever. When we compiled our list of favorite fashion moments from 2010, we had quite a crop to choose from. Gone are the days where the only shows worth mentioning were the Emmys, Grammys and Oscars. This year’s style compilation comes to you courtesy of the Creative Arts Emmys, the SAG Awards, and even the ESPYs. Oh, and a couple dozen film premieres, too. Check out who made our cut for best dressed celebs of 2010 in the gallery below—including just about everyone from Mad Men, a very GOOP-y celeb we love to hate, and the most famous half-vampire couple ever.

Holy Slit, Selena!

Selena Gomez performed a Christmas miracle last night by making parachute pants hot. All it took was a huuuuge slit up the side! MC-Hammer is probably kicking himself right now. The Disney princess donned the leggy look while performing at Q102 radio’s annual Jingle Ball in Camden, New Jersey. Other performers included Charice, Flo-Rida, and Adam Lambert. But not to be outdone, Justin Bieber was on hand to perform a little holiday miracle of his own by making one fan’s Christmas wish come true. Tis the season for high slits and mackin’ it on stage! Check out more in the gallery below.

Adam Lambert’s Latest Video, “If I Had You”, Is Like A Rave In A Forest

What happens when Adam Ant, Boy George, and the Mad Hatter breed in the woods? Well, we suspect you get something that looks like Adam Lambert‘s latest video for the single “If I Had You”. Lambert takes the glam, gothy look he’s cultivated and added some dry ice, dreadlocked hair extensions (what?) and a forest to the mix for a dramatic backdrop to the song. Our favorite part though? The cameo from his Idol pal Alison Iraheta. (Miss you, girl!) So is the song summer jam quality or what?

American Idol: Straight Up, Andrew And Katie Got Booted

Oh, sorry, did someone get kicked off of American Idol? We were so distracted by Casey JamesAniston-esque hair that we failed to notice anything else during the episode. Except for when we noticed Justin Gaston’s “Antonio Banderas-circa-El Mariachi” hair. And then there was Tim Urban’s Bieber-iffic ‘do. It was quite the hair show, for real. Coiffes aside, there were two contestants booted off last night, and the results weren’t surprising.

Adam Lambert Inspired To Audition For Idol On Acid Trip

Kissing a dude isn’t the only controversial thing Adam Lambert did while he was at Burning Man. In a recent interview, Lambert admitted that he got the inspiration to audition for American Idol while on an acid trip.

The UK site Metro talked to Lambert about several different, completely disparate issues, but  buried at the very end and out of nowhere is the question”If people are lacking purpose in life would you advise them to take LSD?”, to which Lambert responds “Sure, it’s one method of finding yourself. My trip led me to some epiphanies about who I was as a performer, what I wanted to do and how I needed to create my own opportunities. When I got home, I started writing music with other people and went to the Idol audition. The vision was about finding opportunities. I wasn’t sitting in the desert in rave-wear thinking about Simon Cowell when I was on acid.”

The comment no doubt will get Lambert in hot water with his detractors and the anti-drug crusade but it’s not like he’s saying it to sound cool. If he wanted to sound cool, he wouldn’t have admitted to wearing rave-wear. [Photo: Getty Images]

American Idol Auditions: Los Angeles (And Un Diablo)

We can confirm that L.A. contestants on American Idol are a lot more emotionally unstable than in other cities. That was the biggest lesson we learned from Tuesday night’s crying montage anyway. We also learned during the episode that Avril Lavigne will never not shop at Hot Topic, Katy Perry appears to hate Kara DioGuardi as much as we do, and a lot of ministers want to be rock stars. Read on for all of our stray observations from this pretty craptastic episode.

Adam Lambert Assaults The AMAs With Racy Performance

Adam Lambert at the AMAs

Adam Lambert may not have won American Idol, but after his insane performance at the American Music Awards last night, we’re surprised anyone can remember who did. Lambert was an equal opportunity offender throughout, leading dancers on a leash (male), grinding his crotch in their faces (male and female), wedging his hand up a pole dancer’s underwear (female), frenching his keyboard player (male) and making ears bleed (male and female) with his trademark shrieking. Aren’t you glad show producer Dick Clark lived to see this?

Lambert was defiant when discussing the potential uproar with the LA Times. “If it’s gonna be edited, then in a way that’s discrimination. I don’t mean to get political, but Madonna, Britney and Christina weren’t edited. It’s a shame. Female entertainers have been risqué for years. Honestly, there’s a huge double standard…I’m just trying to have a good time onstage. It’s a sexy song. It’s 2009, it’s time to take more risks. It’s about entertainment. People want to be surprised. It’s too bad that people are so scared.” Watch Adam hump and sing “For Your Entertainment” after the jump.
