Aubrey Plaza Crashes Will Ferrell's MTV Movie Awards Speech

Whoa now: It looks like Aubrey Plaza pulled a “Kanye” at the MTV Movie Awards, crashing the stage in the middle of Will Ferrell’s speech. Will was in the midst of accepting his Comedic Genius Golden Popcorn when a barefoot Aubrey bounded towards the stage and made a grab for the award. “What’s happening?” he asked, echoing the thoughts of pretty much everyone watching. “Are you ok?”

The To Do List Red Band Trailer Checks Off Everything We Want In A Teen Comedy

Guys, this is looks good. Like Mean Girls good. Immediately following the announcement that it would premiere February 14, 2013, the To Do List trailer ticked off all the things we want to see in a teen movie. Things like Bill Hader, Donald Glover, Alia Shawkat, Rachel Bilson, and skorts. Most importantly, the To Do List has Parks and Rec‘s Aubrey Plaza as the goody-goody nerdlinger protagonist, who tries to put some notches on her belt before going off to college…with hilarious consequences! It goes without saying there will be hilarious consequences, right? So go on and watch the (sort of NSFW) trailer. It perfectly fulfills all our teen comedy needs. Needs like:

Three Looks That Worked In Theory, But Not In Reality At The 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards

Worst Dressed At 2012 Critics Choice Television Awards

We are so incredibly sad that Christina Hendricks is on this list, and not the 10 best-dressed list at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards yesterday at the Beverly Hills Hotel in L.A. She is such a beauty, but the overwhelming response to this black, chiffon-paneled dress is — meh. Someone needs to give her a shot of Joan’s (her character in Mad Men) mojo in the dressing department because she hasn’t been getting it right for some time now. This is a nightgown, while Christina deserves an honest-to-goodness dress to do her justice.

Aubrey Plaza made the same gauzy mistake. It looks crushed, and the sleeves are kind of random. Plus, it draws attention to her ombre colored hair. She can do — and has done, up till now — way better than this. Lastly, we have Ginnifer Goodwin, whose “I want to be an edgy fashionista” instincts often blur her common sense. We feel that she knows that she wants to look fabulous in certain designs, but it never pans out the way she wants. For example, this Viktor & Rolf Fall 2012 dress was cool on the runway, but it was worn by a giraffe! Ginny’s got a great body, and fantastic skin, but the dress needs a taller person. She’s kind of overwhelmed by it, and it’s wearing her. The eggshell blue nails don’t help. Next time, ladies … next time.

Ashley Greene, Sophia Bush, Hailee Steinfeld And More At The Young Hollywood Awards

Fashion At The Young Hollywood Awards

What’s young Hollywood without young, hot Hollywood right? Keeping that in mind, the Young Hollywood Awards took place last night at the Hollywood Athletic Club and paid homage to all the young stars who have created a massive buzz already in the span of their relatively shorter careers. Ashley Greene led the troupe, looking absolutely gorgeous in a black Donna Karan corset and cropped black pencil pants. Donna Karan is the actress’ go-to red carpet dresser, considering Ashley is the face of DKNY.  Also looking ah-maizing was Ginnifer Goodwin who wore a sexy, yet lady-like, lacy white Monique Lhuillier dress which she accessorized with Christian Louboutin studded pumps, Jennifer Meyer earrings, and a studded Edie Parker clutch. Love the matte raspberry lips as well. Big win for Ginny G.

We’re also so happy that we spotted Hailee Steinfeld after ages. Where ya been, gurl? (Other than shooting Ender’s Game, of course.) Also, was she always this tall or does the outfit elongate her? She wore silver a Prabal Gurung top and pants with an Edie Parker clutch, like Ginnifer, but with a House of Lavande bracelet, and Brian Atwood shoes. Can’t say anyone else could pull of that amount of shiny silver, but Hailee sure can. Could Cody Horn smile a little more, please? We actually like her Marios Schwab burgundy dress and strappy Rupert Sanderson heels, but the sour face has got to go! Making up for her in the sunshine department was Sophia Bush who wore a chevron-printed Herve Leger, which thankfully, was not as skin tight as most starlets like to wear the label. Got to love her classic Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pumps and her “lips” clutch by Lulu Guinness too. There’s more, but you’re going to have to get to our gallery to take a look.

Red Carpet Report: The Five-Year Engagement Has A Busy Opening Night

When you put Jason Segel and Emily Blunt together in a movie, there’s no way we’re not going to watch. Besides, with Jason being such an awesome boyfriend to Michelle Williams, we like him even more. Their movie, The Five-Year Engagement, premiered last night at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York, and Emily knocked it out of the park in a black-and-green belted Jason Wu dress. Extra marks for the parrot green pumps and that amazing makeup.

Other stand-outs on the carpet included Alison Brie who was perfect in a white, form-fitting Victoria Beckham dress, and Olivia Wilde in a long printed Yigal Azrouel maxi. Camilla Belle also wore a Chinese silk cheongsam by Jason Wu and nailed it. Amy Poehler looked like a very sexy dream in a white lace blouson with black trousers and came with dream date, Aubrey Plaza. But we’d like to give first prize to little Zoe Niemkiewicz who was an adorable little tyke in her tulle frock. And out way past her bedtime, we might add!

Aubrey Plaza Talks About Her Love Of Older Men At Sundance

Alan Thicke, we know you are currently married and probably have at least some scruples about dating a woman young enough to be your offspring. If you didn’t, though, Aubrey Plaza would be all up on that bidness. “I met Alan Thicke on the plane and that blew my mind,” the Park & Rec star told VH1 News while visiting Sundance. When asked what it is about older men that gets her going, Aubrey barely even knows where to start.

“Their Roth IRAs,” Plaza joked. “Their wisdom and their chest hair.” What about their giant white sneakers, Aubrey? Their endless trips around the mall? Their delicious hard and soft butterscotch candies, more butterscotch options than you even knew existed? We’re just kidding, of course. We would arm-wrestle Aubrey’s arm out of its socket for the chance to meet Alan Thicke in person. Let’s hope it rarely, if ever comes, to that.

TheFABlife’s 15 Best Dressed At The 2011 Emmy Awards

The red carpet at tonight’s Emmy Awards contained very few duds and a whole lot of “dayum!” Underdog and relative red carpet rookie Aubrey Plaza took our crown for Best Dressed in her Juan Carlos Obando white gown and retro fabulous hair. The Vampire DiariesNina Dobrev was a close runner-up in a dramatic, hourglass supreme Donna Karan. Best Actress in a Comedy Series winner Julie Bowen dazzled in an uber deep v-neck Oscar De La Renta and we loved Amy Poehler‘s unique Peter Som navy frock.
Star of tomorrow and Best Dressed honorable mention Kiernan Shipka confirmed she will essentially be a teenager by the time Mad Men returns in an adorable metallic dress and glittery heels. Check out our 15 Best Dressed at the 2011 Emmys below! [Photos: Getty Images]

Small Screen, Big Style: Red Carpet Looks Of The 2011 Emmys

TV fans the world over are tuning in to the Emmys: the small screen’s biggest night! Although always full of famous faces, tonight is an especially star studded affair with some of the brightest movie stars crashing the red carpet at LA’s Nokia Theatre. Zooey Deschanel, Ashton Kutcher, and Oscar-winners Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet…Who let these guys in!? We can forgive em (we guess) considering Ashton and Zooey are staring in the most anticipated shows this fall (The New Girl and a Sheen-less Two and a Half Men), and Gwyneth and Kate are both nominated for the award. But it doesn’t matter if you’re actually a winner, as long as you’re dressed like one! Our favorites so far have got to be Vampire Diaries vamp Nina Dobrev in a redder-than-red-carpet gown, and Aubrey Plaza looking Old Hollywood hot in a white Marilyn-like number. And of course, bombshell Christina Hendricks destroyed the competition like we knew she would in a curve-hugging, high-slitted, low-necked silver dress. Check out the best (and the rest) in the gallery below!
