On January 1st we can start a clean slate and draft our ever crucial new year’s resolutions. Whether or not we actually achieve those goals is another matter (we’ve yet to do 2012’s spring cleaning). Nevertheless, it’s always a fun challenge to set them for ourselves…and also for our friends in Hollywood. Just like us, our celebs could use a little goal setting for 2013. Just like your mother says, we do it because we love you. Here’s our resolutions to the stars, and -most importantly- Happy New Year!
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling – We know one of Hollywood’s hottest couples is costarring in The Place Beyond the Pines in 2013 together. However, after watching the two show their comedy chops in the latest Drunk History clips, we cannot wait to see more of these two collaborate. We know the duo has some off screen chemistry, and the silver screen may not even be able to handle the hotness between them. We have a proposition for these two for 2013: more projects together, please!
What’s been getting into Hollywood lately!? Everyday it seems like there’s another celebrity pregnancy to report. Did somebody drop some Luther Vandross into the LA water supply or something? We’ve told you that Hilary Duff, Jason Bateman, and Beyonce (!) all have babies on the way, and now you can add Robert Downey Jr. to Celeb Lamaze class. Yes, RDJ is expecting a child with Susan Levin, his wife of six years, according to Star Magazine.
“The baby is due in February,” says Susan’s aunt, Nancy Miller. “Susan’s father, my brother, called me about three weeks ago with the good news. Her parents are over the moon about it.” It’s still too early to tell if the Iron Baby will be a boy or a girl. “It [doesn’t] really matter if it’s a boy or a girl. What really matters is that the baby is healthy.” Although a first time for Susan, this is Robert’s second time becoming a parent. His first child, Indio Falconer Downey, was born in 1993 to his first wife, Deborah Falconer. Congrats to the happy couple!

Salma Hayek wasn’t the only curvy celeb flaunting what her mama gave her last night at the Golden Globe Awards. Blake Lively, Megan Fox, Beyonce Knowles, Eva Longoria, and even geek-turned-goddess Tina Fey spiced up the award show with some cleav.

Audiences must really be in the holiday spirit, as Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn held the top spot at the movies for the second weekend in a row, beating sexy vampires, Australian cowboys and Bond. Four Christmases‘ success proves the often-told tale of family stress and a full schedule around the holidays doesn’t get old. See a clip above of Vaughn being outed by his rowdy brothers, revealing to Witherspoon his birth name is “Orlando.”
1. Four Christmases: $18.2M
2. Twilight: $13.2M
3. Bolt: $9.7M
4. Australia: $7M
5. Quantum of Solace: $6.6M
On the coattails of Beyonce‘s “Single Ladies” sensation, we were somewhat surprised to see Cadillac Records roll in at #9 with a meager $3.5M. Check out a clip of Ms. Knowles singing as Etta James after the jump.
