Feast your eyes on these three lovely ladies. Cobie Smulders, Sophia Bush and Natalie Martinez look pretty awesome at the CBS Fall Premiere Party held at the Greystone Manor in L.A. last night. Cobie wore a cream dress with skyscraper black pumps with a pop of cherry lipstick. Sophia wore a backless, olive mini dress with what seem to be Christian Louboutin pumps — the red soles give them away. Natalie wore a very feminine lace overlay taupe sheath with matching pumps. It would take a lot to overshadow this trio but one very dashing man managed to do just that. We know, who would have thought it, right? Look below and be amazed.
Why, hello there, Michael Weatherly. The NCIS star seemed to be in a, how do we put this politely … jubilant mood? There were some Vegas showgirls at the event and they were in full costumes which included feathers,of course. Weatherly totally thought he could overshadow the showgirls and go the feathers and proceeded to do what you see above. All in good fun, sure, but he looks completely nuts. And this may be in poor taste, but he looks like the NBC peacock (after a few drinks) in the picture on the left!

Call us out of the loop (never!) but we really didn’t know that the “Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards” were such a big deal. But so many stars turned up for the event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in L.A. that we sat up and took notice. Leading the way and looking like a young Bridget Bardot was Chloe Moretz. She was the recipient of the 2012 Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future award and fittingly wore a Max Mara dress with Rupert Sanderson shoes, and a vintage bracelet by Susan Caplan. Also wearing Max Mara, but not to such a winning effect, was Jenna Dewan Tatum, in a pale jade jumpsuit with Jimmy Choo shoes, a Swarovski purse, and Irene Neuwirth jewels. Christina Applegate notched up the brand’s cred again, though. She received the Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award wearing a cherry red Max Mara dress with Louboutin heels. Stylin’!
That wasn’t by any means, the end of Max Mara’s reign on the red carpet. Cobie Smulders also wore the brand with a lovely blush-hued frock and a contrast waistband. Viola Davis was her usual best-dressed self wearing a Max Mara black strapless dress and ruby lips. Meryl Streep also had the brand’s “Elegante’” dress with a black grograin waistband on. Considering that Fox and NBC networks just had their upfront presentations earlier this week, we had a feeling that CBS wouldn’t be far behind. We were right. The CBS Upfronts Presentation went down in New York yesterday and it seemed that the ladies ruled the roost. Cobie Smulders led the way in a white Rebecca Minkoff “Mistral” dress with cutouts and cheeky red pumps. Apparently, her earrings were designed by Krysten Ritter for JewelMint to benefit Autism Speaks. How I Met Your Mother, FTW! We bet she’s in the best shape of her life after having to fit into that unforgiving catsuit she wore through The Avengers. It was also great to see Lucy Liu, looking impossibly tiny, but fit, in a burgundy Marios Schwab slip.
Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs — the 2 Broke Girls — looked great posing together. We just can’t understand why Kat won’t smile more? She was a knockout in a black dress and nude pumps but wouldn’t stop pouting for some strange reason. Seriously, every photograph we saw didn’t have a hint of a grin in it. Luckily, her co-star Beth, made up for her in the sunshine department, while wearing a lovely royal blue sheath. To see who else attended, you’re going to have to click through our gallery, but we promise you … it’ll be worth it.

The cast of The Avengers reads like our dream dinner party guest list. From Robert Downey Jr. and Jeremy Renner to Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth, the whole crew seems like the coolest (and sexiest!) gang that a person could ask for. And according to costar Cobie Smulders, they’re super fun, too! The lovely Ms. Smulders caught up with VH1 News at The Avengers premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, and she insisted that the cast got along together great both onscreen and off.
“It was really cool. It could have been a disastrous movie,” she admitted. “It was huge actors, huge characters, and I think it all comes back to Joss Whedon who wrote such an amazing script and it gave everybody their moment, you know.” But although they worked hard, Cobie says that they definitely made time to party hard as well. “I mean, we were in Albuquerque for awhile. There were a few nights, wild nights. Which I can’t really remember. But um, but it was a lot of fun. Everyone was super cool.” Damn, it makes us wish we’d been cast!
We want to stand up and applaud Mena Suvari and Emily Blunt for their sartorial choices. They wore the same color — red — at premieres on two different continents yesterday and both of them nailed it. That color really did seem to be the order of the day yesterday. You’ve already seen Cobie Smulders’ Alexandra Vidal gown at The Avengers premiere in London. She totally upstaged poor Scarlett Johansson.
Red was also the choice for Emily at the Your Sister’s Sister premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival yesterday in New York. Her cherry lace-overlay Michael Kors frock was so elegant that we want to throw words like “marvelous” and ” superb” at her. Add to that a Louis Vuitton clutch, Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and you have one red-hot lady. This the second win in a row for Emily, as her Jason Wu outfit from The Five-Year Engagement event the day before was also fantastic. Then there’s Mena who also picked a red lace embroidered frock but this one was a Tadashi Shoji Fall 2012 number. It looked very flamenco which was totally appropriate since the event was the American Pie: Reunion premiere in Madrid. We can’t tell which one we like better. Can you? Take a bow, ladies.

Red Carpet Report: The Five-Year Engagement Has A Busy Opening Night
Scarlett Johansson really needs to up her game! She was completely overshadowed by her male co-stars at the L.A. world premiere of The Avengers last week. The film shifted spot to the Vue Westfield in London last night and we were hoping Scarlett would really knock it out of the ballpark with this one. Sadly, our hopes have been dashed once again. She looked particularly odd in a peplum Prada frock, where the frill at the waist seemed to separate two completely different dresses. As a result, the whole thing looked completely disjointed, and we know that Scarlett can do much better than this. Someone needs to get her stylist a memo.
As we were saying, she was overshadowed by the men in the movie, last week? This week, it was other women on the carpet — a television actress and a pregnant star wife, no less. Chris Hemsworth‘s very preggo wife, Elsa Pataky looked gorgeous in a flowing forest green Hoss Intropia Grecian maxi. But the real winner that night was Cobie Smulders (who’s also in the movie, FYI) who aced it with some really movie star glamor in a red Alexandra Vidal gown with a gentle fishtail. Scarlett. This is an emergency. Up the ante, now.

Remember how Scarlett Johansson told Flare magazine that she was the “only girl in the film,” and that she is “obviously going to be more aware that I’m surrounded by a bunch of suits. Everybody is going to be wearing black and grey and it will be nice to add femininity and some female sex appeal to the lineup. I think I’ll steer clear of the tuxedo”? She was talking, of course, about her film The Avengers, which premiered last night in L.A. And no matter how much “female sex appeal” she brought, the men were the clear winners of this round.
Scarlett herself wore a little black dress by Versace which we’re still trying to love, but all eyes were on the dudes. Robert Downey Jr. was flamboyant in an eggplant suit while Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner were all sharp in different shades of gray. Alexander Skarsgard looked totally hot in a black suit, sans tie and white shirt and was accompanied by his father, Stellan Skarsgard. Samuel L. Jackson brought on his A-game in white. A smattering of other celebrities attended as well, and to see what Aisha Tyler, Mark Ruffalo, Dominic Monaghan and such wore, take a look at our gallery below.

As expected, there was a lot of traffic on the red carpet for the People’s Choice Awards and we’re happy to report that some new faces popped up on the best-dressed radar. We welcome Ashley Benson into the fold. She wore an adorable, trumpet-skirted, white (with a black underskirt peeking out) Alice + Olivia frock that we now covet. Also wearing the same designer was a very pregnant Alyson Hannigan who wore a form-fitting, embellished sheath that showed off her bump. Her How I Met Your Mother co-star and close friend Cobie Smulders rocked it in a strapless, electric-blue Reema Acra dress. That incredible gold necklace you see on her is by Etro. Blue works like a charm for Cobie — remember her turquoise Grecian gown at the Emmys last year? Julianne Hough is also on the list and she gets the sexiest ever award in a sizzling silver chainmail Kaufman Franco dress. It clung to every curve but covered everything up in the front. But when she turned — bam — totally backless. Faith Hill — who sang at the show — looked like a beautiful, tall drink of water in a tangerine, halter-necked cocktail dress.
Now to the usual suspects. Miley Cyrus and Lea Michele both wore white but to very different effects. Miley wore a very original David Koma dress which had a sheer panel down the front — it didn’t look smutty at all — and a touch of colorful texturing at the hem. Lea wore a spectacular flapper-like Marchesa dress with a draped back. It was possibly our pick for the night, especially paired with her slash of pink lipstick. Kristen Bell chose one of our favorite designers, Valentino, and wore a lovely sheer blouse and skirt in the punchy shade of vermilion. Chloe Moretz looked fabulous in a green-and-black, edgy Proenza Schouler dress — trust her to pick the coolest designers at 14. It’s beyond us. Rounding up the list, and making us want to say “Top of the mornin’ to ya,” is Emma Stone. It’s the most unusual outfit for the awards show, but she nails it. Emma wore head-to-toe Gucci with a shamrock green tuxedo jacket, black cigarette pants and white silk shirt that had two long panels trailing out.
Have a look at our gallery below to check out the outfits we’ve outlined above. We’d love to hear your thoughts!

With her romance with Jason Statham, movie debut in the upcoming Transformers sequel and experience as a Victoria’s Secret angel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley certainly appears to be qualified to top Maxim‘s Hot 100 this year, pushing past fellow sources of heat like Olivia Munn, Katy Perry (Maxim’s 2010 winner) and Mila Kunis for the crown.
Despite losing her place in the action franchise, Megan Fox can still be found on Maxim’s list at no. 17. Check out the gallery below for a look at the ladies in Maxim‘s Top 10.
With both Alyson Hannigan and Cobie Smulders pregnant, a lot of people have wondered if their growing bellies would be utilized for a storyline on How I Met Your Mother. After all, Hannigan’s Lily is happily married to Marshall (played by I Love You, Man‘s Jason Segel), and it’s been awhile since someone took advantage of new babies in sitcomland. Not gonna happen, Hannigan told Us Magazine.
It had been discussed whether or not they would write it in, and they had the opportunity to, but just working with babies for one week confirmed it’s a good thing they’re not writing it in. Babies are hard to work with!
Jason Segel is not the best with little babies. They seem to scream every time he comes near them. But once they’re, like, kids, they love him. So maybe if Lily could just pop out a 4-year old, it would be OK. But newborns? Noooo …. keep them away from Jason!
Awww! If anyone could put a novel spin on pregnancy cliches, it would have been these guys. But with ratings up and contracts extended, there’s plenty of time for the producers to change their minds.
