Just when we were struggling to think of a new way of reporting on the latest lawsuit facing former Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash, Neil Patrick Harris came bursting out of the darkness to rescue us — much the way he once saved Harold and Kumar from having to forgo their White Castle meal. NPH, partner David Burtka and none other than the Jim Henson Company teamed up to create Neil’s Puppet Dreams, a seven-part series on Nerdist.com about the actor’s tendency to “dream in puppet.”
Andrew Garfield, Hugh Jackman, Nick Jonas And Their Merry Band Of Dudes At The Tony Awards
If you’ve been following our Tony Awards coverage, you’ll notice that it’s been all about the women at the event so far. Well, that stops here, right now. Because while some of the looks the ladies wore were lovely, the men, in their tuxedos and skinny ties far outshone them. The host of the evening, Neil Patrick Harris, was the spiffiest of them all in a charcoal tuxedo jacket and black tie from the Spring 2012 Calvin Klein Collection. Looking super in classic tuxedos were Nick Jonas, Ricky Martin, Hugh Jackman, David Burtka and James Marsden. This is not to say that the tie brigade was any less. Andrew Garfield, Josh Groban and Matthew Morrison looked pretty hot in their elegant suits. Eschewing any sort of neck piece completely was John Stamos who wore all-black and didn’t end up looking out of place at all. Anyone who has that sort of face will be welcome anywhere, in whatever they choose to wear. The fact that his ensemble was cut impeccably, was an added bonus. Have your fill in the gallery below. We all know that the Vanity Fair Oscar Party is almost as big as the Oscar ceremony itself. And just as brights were a major Oscars 2012 trend, it was the same as the party. Rosie Huntington-Whitely wore a juicy, tangerine Antonio Berardi dress while Cameron Diaz went more orange with a Victoria Beckham number. Kate Upton, a pregnant Molly Sims, Salma Hayek, Abbie Cornish and Diane Kruger all wore shades of crimson.
It’s just a straight-up roll call of celebrities here: Elizabeth Olsen in black Christian Dior, Sofia Vergara in a white Robert Cavalli column, Brooklyn Decker in nude, beaded Valentino and Selena Gomez in Dolce & Gabbana. See what we mean? We’re not too sure about Zoe Saldana in her black, sheer Marios Schwab or January Jones in her Wes Gordon green-and-burgundy confused dress. Or Elizabeth Banks and her green-and-blue feathered Chadwick Bell dress. Jennifer Lopez wore the same designer as her Oscars dress, but this plunging, sparkling, plum version was even sexier.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Or not, depending on how you feel about the holiday. And listen, we know there are a lot of singletons out there who are not so pleased about how much we in the media focus on this holiday. But we can’t help it, OK? We cover divorces and breakdowns and deaths and fights all the time, and it’s really nice to have a day that’s all about the important things in life. (No, not the unveiling of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, though that’s nice too.) We just really want to escape from it all and look at Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez nuzzling each other. We would like to soak in the happiness that is Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen’s love, bask in Jay-Z and Beyonce’s adorable glory, shiver with delight at the perpetual hotness of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and marvel at the lasting power of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. We are hoping some of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s world-saving affection will rub off on us. And we’re even going to allow for some admiration of Tom Brady and Gisele Bunchen, football loyalties aside.
But here’s some good news for you black-hearted V-day haters: The last time we did a best couples gallery, back in December, one of those couples announced their divorce a few days later. Oh, no! What have we done?!?

This Week’s Hotness: Adam Lambert And Sauli Koskinen Vs. Neil Patrick Harris And David Burtka
Last week, when we posted our list of the 30 cutest non-Robsten couples of 2011, a number of you spoke up for a write-in couple (which, with Russell and Katy over, we definitely have an opening there): Adam Lambert and his boyfriend of one year (and partner in crime), Finnish reality-TV vet Sauli Koskinen.
But we can’t make things THAT easy for you, Glambert fans. We thought we’d stir the pot a little more and bring the Weekly Hotness poll back from its winter hiatus. So we present to you this special couples’ edition, pitting Adam and Sauli against that other perennially adorable example of true love: Neil Patrick Harris and fiance David Burtka.
On the one hand, Adam, 29, and Sauli, 26, are undeniably gorgeous, and they look good together too. Plus their shared background in reality TV must have made for good conversation when they first hooked up.
On the other, Neil, 38, and David, 36, have the cuteness factor in their favor — especially when you include their 1-year-old twins, Gideon and Harper. They’ve also got longevity, having been together since 2004. Also, who can vote against Doogie?

Neil Patrick Harris’ Twins Costume Calendar Close To Completion
We know we said we were done with the Halloween stuff. But we thought we could make an exception for something ridiculously cute that also has some history with us. We have been emotionally invested with Neil Patrick Harris‘ twins calendar, ever since he debuted it on Letterman a few months ago. Basically, Neil and his partner David Burtka, dress up their adorable twins, Gideon and Harper, in costume up for monthly holidays. The photos of which they’re going to turn into a calender to humiliate them with when they’re all grown up, of course.
It’s a pity they didn’t release this one in time for our celebrity Halloween twitpic gallery. But to be honest, it deserves pride of place. Neil tweeted this photograph of the family dressed up as Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Mr. Smee and Tinkerbell from Peter Pan. Best Halloween picture yet. Can’t wait to see the Christmas and New Year editions.

Neil Patrick Harris Gets His Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame!
About frickin’ time, we say! One of our favorite stars ever, Neil Patrick Harris was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame star yesterday. It’s right in front of the Pantages Theatre across from the legen—wait for it —dary (we had to throw in some Barney Stinson) dive bar, the Frolic Room. Of which Neil said in his acceptance speech, “This won’t be the first time I’ve been plastered on the sidewalk in front of the Frolic Room.”
Fiance David Burtka, Joss Whedon and his How I Met Your Mother co-star Jason Segel, the latter of whom introduced Harris to the waiting crowd. He joked, saying, “Neil has been entertaining us in television, stage, the Internet and film for over 60 years.” Cue a Doogie Howser flashback! Neil tweeted a photograph of his star as well, modestly writing, “Things I dig”. Congratulations! It’s well deserved!

TONY Awards Red Carpet: The Older Ladies Do It Better
What was in the water when these ladies were growing up? ‘Cause we’ll have some! The 2011 TONY Awards took place yesterday at the Beacon Theatre in New York City and we’re in awe of the slew of all the “older” actresses that walked the carpet. We’re not being derogatory about age at all. We genuinely think that the so called young Hollywood lot could learn a thing or two from ladies like Edie Falco (aged 47), Ellen Barkin (57), Brooke Shields (46) and Marg Helgenberger (52) because they looked incredible. Christie Brinkley looked pretty damn fine too, but we didn’t like the strapless blue gown she wore. And God Bless her soul, we love you Whoopi Goldberg, but what the hell were you wearing? She had some bizarre hat and an outfit that looked like it was made from cheap curtains on, which you’ll able to see in our gallery below.
A word about the gentlemen during the evening. Could Neil Patrick Harris (he was the host of the show) and partner David Burtka get any more handsome? Al Pacino could have taken a couple of styling tips considering he wore a weird headband, but his girlfriend, gorgeous Lucila Sola (who is 40 years younger than him) didn’t seem to mind. Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Rock, Matthew Broderick, Don Cheadle all suited up too, so take a look at the pictures and tell us what you think.

Neil Patrick Harris Tweets A Pic Of His Twins: “My Heart Is Full Of Love”
Neil Patrick Harris dropped a cute bomb on Twitter this weekend, posting a picture of his newborn twins Harper and Gideon posing with partner David Burtka. “Relaxing on a Sunday afternoon,” he explained. “My heart is full of love.” Between these twins and the ones NPH saw when acting with Christina Hendricks on the Company stage earlier this month, pretty much everyone should be able to come up with a reason to be envious of this guy.
