Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s a Super-Crotch!
Okay, sure, that Super-Crotch is attached to a Superman, but let’s be real. The best part of Superman’s costume isn’t the billowing cape, but the attention devoted to not quite covering his nether regions. Since his debut in Action Comics #1, Superman has been saving lives — and showing off the goods. So, in honor of Man of Steel, we’ve ranked the top 10 most iconic Supermen in relation to the superiority of this all important feature.
Another year, and another season of American Idol has run its course. But before we tell you who the Season 11 winner is, we wanted to discuss who turned up for the results show. As expected, AI alumni swarmed. One of the most famous of this group is Carrie Underwood, who arrived looking super glam in Badgley Mischka along with her husband, Mike Fisher. Jordin Sparks looked lovely in white, along with Jason Derulo. Taylor Hicks, Fantasia, Pia Toscano, Haley Reinhart and a fair few posed on the carpet too. It was a particularly special night for two past Idol-ers. Remember Ace Young and Diana Degarmo? Well, they’ve been dating for some time now, and he actually proposed to her onstage at the show! She said yes, of course. We were also correct in assuming that Rihanna would have dreadlocks while performing, because that’s precisely the look she rocked while singing “Where Have You Been.”
Apart from the American Idol family, a few other familiar faces did pop up as well, to watch. Janice Dickinson, Jane Lynch, Melora Hardin, Chaka Khan, Julianne Hough and Jane Seymour were all spotted. But no matter who was in the audience, the night, quite rightly, belonged to the two final contestants — Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez. Who won the show? We’ve got the gallery of celebrities followed right by the jump, that’ll take you to the answer!
Celebrity Rehab star and troubled country singer Mindy McCready has mailed a cease-and-desist letter to Vivid Entertainment over their plans to release Mindy McCready: Baseball Mistress, a sex tape the company purchased from a “third party.” The trailer on Spike finds McCready dishing dirt on ex-lovers like Dean Cain, Roger Clemens and Alan Jackson (who earns a major eye roll) in between bouts of hardcore sex with an ex-boyfriend named “Peter.”
McCready, whose ’90s country success has been overshadowed in recent years by drug problems and the revelation of a decade-long affair with basbeball great Clemens, demands Vivid either provide “proof of their authority to release tape” or destroy all copies that aren’t returned immediately to her. The company has yet to comment, and is presumably still planning to release the tape April 19th. See photos in the gallery below.
