The year was 1999 and by the summer, teen films were all the rage. The year kicked off with two unexpected box office successes, Varsity Blues and She’s All That, before studios started pumping out hit after hit. In the same year, Drop Dead Gorgeous, a dark comedy about teenage girls competing in a local Minnesota beauty pageant, bombed at the box office. Unable to capture the same excitement as American Pie or 10 Things I Hate About You, the film quickly disappeared from theaters after earning a dismal $10.5 million at the box office.
It was only later, when released on DVD and VHS, did the movie become a cult classic. Similarly to Jawbreaker, which also came out in 1999, Drop Dead Gorgeous proved to be a pivotal film — introducing audiences to Amy Adams, making use of the mockumentary style — even if it was overlooked at the time.
On the 15th anniversary of the theatrical release, we talk to cast members, including Allison Janney, Denise Richards, and Mindy Sterling, who all shared tidbits from the set.
Will the cast of Hardcore Pawn join Dancing With The Stars anytime soon? What ridiculous comparison did Gwyneth Paltrow make yesterday? Who is Charlie Sheen‘s finacée fed up with?
Let’s just get one thing out on the table. It’s obvious, but worth noting that celebs — whether they’re movie stars, supermodels, Hollywood wives, reality personalities or some combination of the three — are very careful not to do anything that would jeopardize having a perfect body. Plainly speaking, they’re terrified of gaining weight. Cellulite and muffin tops are not on the menu! So, it’s always a surprise to us when we see A-list moms with more than two children. In celeb circles, that’s a downright enormous family — Duggars-enormous. And triple the amount of working-out to get their bodies back in red carpet shape.

James Bond is back, and by all accounts better than ever! After far too many years away, Daniel Craig’s Agent 007 is hitting the big screen once again with Skyfall. The film has been leaving British audiences stunned for several weeks, so we can’t wait to go and check it out for ourselves! There are so many reasons to see a Bond flick: the action packed gun battles, the suspenseful hand to hand combat sequences, the (usually) incredible title songs, the increasingly insane technology, the sweet cars and of course the hunky Mr. Bond himself. But there’s also the legendary Bond Girls squad. Sometimes they love him, sometimes they hate him: sometimes they help him, and other times they try to kill him. But you can be sure that they’re always jaw-droppingly gorgeous! So in honor of Bond-Mania sweeping the world yet again, we’ve assembled a list of our 20 favorite Bond Girls of all time. Enjoy!

In truth, celebrities’ children are not actually any cuter than regular kids, and we should not be here to judge one small, nonprofessional child against the other. BUT. After spending a week perusing through squee-worthy Twitpics of Snooki’s and Vanessa Lachey’s babies, catching sightings of Halle Berry and Denise Richards taking their kids to the pumpkin patch, seeing Emme Anthony fall asleep on J.Lo’s lap at a Paris fashion show, and more, we decided we just had to do something with all of this collective cuteness. And so we decided to make you decide which of these is the most adorable of all. We’re sure you’ll be up for the task.

Dear Producers of 90210: What the eff is going on in the upcoming episodes of your show? We saw some new photos from the shoot on L.A.’s Manhattan Beach yesterday and they sort of freaked us out. The pix showed resident hotties Annalynne McCord, Jessica Stroup and Jessica Lowndes stormed the football gridiron while a bunch of dudes including Matt Lanter stayed on the sidelines wearing cheer-leading skirts. OK, at first seems like a simple case of “powder puff football.”
But that still doesn’t explain why Annalynne was seen running around in a sports bra with a bobcat head, or why Jessica S. did the crabwalk in front of a ref. And why did Annalynne get picked up and dropped by Matt before being carried out on a stretcher. So many unanswered questions! Denise Richards was also on the set, but she didn’t get mixed up in any of the crazy shenanigans. The poses, the faces, the costumes, the lack of clothing…If you can tell what the hell is happening in any of the photos below, please let us know. Because we’re totally stumped.

The 2012 CMT Music Awards went down last night at The Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and definitely wasn’t all about country music, sartorially speaking! Of course, country superstars were present. Carrie Underwood rocked a Randi Rahm mini cocktail dress covered in silver paillettes. She also wore a pair of hardcore S&M looking Gio Diev heel along with the outfit. Hillary Scott was sexy in a black Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress and David Webb jewelry while Jordin Sparks looked ethereal in a flowing Kevan Hall gown with Jimmy Choo shoes. Sara Evans also went glam in a draped Julian Joyce Made By Mandalay gunmetal sequin dress.
But, as we said, this wasn’t all about the country ladies. Ashley Greene was also at the event in a lovely pale pink Donna Karan atelier dress with Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. Denise Richards, Jennie Garth and Hayden Panettiere also posed on the red carpet but the best-dressed of the night definitely went to Kristen Bell. She shut it down in a shimmering gold Reem Acra gown with delicate sheer cap sleeves and a pop of red lipstick. We need to see more of that action on Kristen! Take a look at all the fashion in our gallery below.

Since she came on the scene in the ’90s, Denise Richards has been heating up every movie and TV show she appears in. She won us over with her role in Wild Things, and we’ve been wanting more ever since. But with her fresh, bubbly face we have a hard time believing it’s her 41st birthday! Whether she’s got a guest-starring role in a sitcom (from Friends to Two and a Half Men), a Playboy pictorial or her own reality show, the starlet has showed us that she’s not afraid to put herself out there. As Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, you’d think she would have looked a little worse for wear after last year’s “winning” turmoil, but she remained unscathed. Instead of trashing Charlie, she quietly published a memoir, adopted a baby sister for daughters Sam and Lola, and reunited with Richie Sambora. And then she went on Christmas vacation with Sheen and the kids. Whatever her secret to inner peace and beauty is, it sure is working! Cheers to many more fabulous birthdays, Denise!

Where are they exactly? This photograph could be at any number of beachy, tropical resorts, but they’re not telling. Charlie Sheen, his ex-wife Denise Richards and their kids Sam and Lola and Denise’s adopted six month old baby girl Eloise are all enjoying themselves at a secret location right now. His other ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, is currently in rehab after being arrested for assault and drug possession, FYI. It’s nice to see Charlie and Denise getting along because it got quite acrimonious — not to mention dysfunctional — there in the middle. The actor just tweeted this photograph, pictured above, of the family, that read, “what’s better than a modern family vacation!?! love spending winter break w/ denise richards & my kids!” Whatever works, right?

In addition to his guitar-shredding skills, Bon Jovi‘s Richie Sambora clearly has many other qualities — and one of them, apparently, is honesty. When VH1 News caught up with him on the red carpet of Alicia Keys’ Keep a Child Alive Black Ball last week, he gave a little update about his recent reunion with Denise Richards.
“Things are good and I’m happy,” he said. “We always dug each other. She’s a great gal, and sweet, and we have a lot in common. We went through a lot together. … Easy on the eyes!”
But then reporter Janell Snowden may have slightly led Richie into a trap a minute later in the conversation, when she had him talking about the posters he had on his wall when he was a teenager.
