Do you remember that scene in Billy Madison where the kid wets his pants, so Adam Sandler sprays his crotch with water so it looks like he did too? You know, just so the little guy doesn’t have to suffer the embarrassment on his own? We think something similar is going on in the entertainment world sorority at the moment. That’s the only explanation we have for why Elizabeth Reaser and LeAnn Rimes both suffered wardrobe malfunctions last night: They wanted to make Anne Hathaway feel better about her “devastating” flesh flash at the Les Miserables premiere in New York on Monday! That’s really sweet, ladies.
Elizabeth fell victim to her super short lace mini-dress yesterday during a Breaking Dawn Part 2 news junket in Hong Kong. She revealed a little more than she bargained for as she sat down, but luckily she was able to readjust and laugh the incident off. Meanwhile, LeAnn had a problem “upstairs” when she wore a blazer and nothing else to the NOH8 Campaign 4th Anniversary Celebration in Los Angeles. Was it hot? Yes, but double-stick tape might have come in handy. Head to the gallery below and see what you think!

The Twilight stars look particularly yearbook-y in this photo from Comic-Con.
Even the most amateur of movie biz followers knows that stars of mega-franchise movies face a huge hurdle when it comes to finding work later But then again, for every Elijah Wood or Mark Hamill, there’s an Emma Watson or Harrison Ford. Which category will the Twilight cast fall into? We’re taking a close look at all the movies our favorite vampires and werewolves have lined up here, and while we were a bit surprised to see who’s dance card is all filled up and whose IMDb page is looking a little blank at the moment, we’re also choosing to see those empty calendars as great opportunities. Especially now that casting directors must be noting all the cash that Breaking Dawn – Part 2 brought in over the weekend. In the meantime, here’s what we’re looking forward to from the cast next:
Robert Pattinson: Rob seems hellbent on defying any and every box you might want to place him in, post Twilight, so his range of projects is vast. In pre-production, he’s got Mission: Blacklist, in which he’ll play a military interrogator who helped find Saddam Hussein; Hold On to Me, in which he’ll play the love interest of Carey Mulligan, who’s plotting to kidnap the town’s richest guy; The Rover, about car thieves in the Australian Outback; and Queen of the Desert, about early-20th-century archaelogist Gertrude Bell (played by Naomi Watts). Then it looks like he’ll be re-teaming with Cosmopolis helmer David Cronenberg for something called Maps to the Stars. We’re breathless after just summarizing all that.
Kristen Stewart: By contrast, KStew found herself telling E!, “I’m kinda desperate to get a job right now,” on the BD2 black carpet last week. After the release of On the Road in December, she’s got nothing official on her plate. But there are three possible flicks for her: Snow White and the Huntsman 2, which she might star in after all, despite rumors the movie was going in a different direction. Also, there’s Focus, the heist movie starring Ben Affleck. She’s also said to be in the running for Lie Down in Darkness, based on a novel by William Styron about a seriously screwed up family living in 1950s Virginia. On the other hand, Kristen had a very busy 2011, so we can also picture her taking a bit of a break — maybe perfecting her sax skills — and then making something huge a little later down the line.
Taylor Lautner: We think the disappointing box office take of Abduction may have caused Taylor (or his people) to opt for a breather before grabbing all the offers coming his way. We think his decision to make the comedy Grown Ups 2 his next movie is brilliant, though. We’ve seen in the Twilight movies and a number of little videos along the way that he’s got comedic chops to go with those abs. But then he’ll use those abs again in Tracer, which is, no joke, a parkour movie.
We already know that Kristen Stewart is a stone cold fox in Zuhair Murad at the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 premiere in L.A. tonight. But there’s a lot more best-dressed action going on, on the black carpet as well. Kristen’s boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, for instance, is pulling off a bottle green Gucci suit. We kid you not. Also wearing the shade is a dark haired Dakota Fanning in an emerald Elie Saab, that’s lovely on her. Bella Thorne is in the same color too, wearing a mullet dress with a ruffled hem, paired with a black belt and pumps. Saoirse Ronan is ethereal in a white Simone Rocha dress and brogues, and the frock has this interesting broderie anglaise-esque hem on it. Christian Serratos is red-hot in a fire engine Zac Posen gown, YSL shoes, Judith Leiber clutch and Kisshy jewelry and is totally channeling an old Hollywood screen siren. Kiernan Shipka is chic in a navy frock with raspberry pumps and we want the whole damn thing. As we always do because she has the best stylist in the whole world who we want to be friends with. But … who really stole the show is Amadou Ly — Henri from the French coven — who came attired in full tribal gear. A nod to his Senegalese heritage? Either way, we love it! Check out all our picks in the gallery below and tell us if you agree!

Cue the “Memories”/”Through the Years”/sappy song of choice. We are tearing up at the thought that tonight is the very last Twilight red carpet of all time, unless, of course, they decide to do that much-debated spin-off movie or, god forbid, remake these for some future generation. We’ll be waxing nostalgic all week, even as we look forward to the movie’s release on Thursday night, and we thought we’d begin with a simple look back at what our favorite stars wore to the big Los Angeles premieres, beginning with the first Twilight in 2008. Stay tuned for plenty more from tonight’s festivities!

As prevalent as Twitter is among both celebs and regular folks alike, we sometimes forget what a huge step it is for someone, particularly a public figure, to decide to put it all out there, 140 characters at a time.
“I’ve stayed away from Twitter for a long time because I didn’t trust myself with such a very intimate but public way of relating to the world,” Twilight star and Twitter newcomer (@reasereaser) Elizabeth Reaser told VH1’s Kate Spencer on the red carpet at the VMAs. “But I feel like I’ve studied it enough, and I realized I was going on other people’s Twitter pages and I love seeing what my friends are up to. I love communicating with people, and I’ve actually kind of fallen in love with it.
“It’s a legal form of voyeurism, and I’m into it,” she added. “You don’t have to leave the house but you can communicate.”
After just five days on the service, Reaser admitted, “I’m really addicted to it now. It’s embarrassing. I’m having a really good time.” And we’re having a good time following her. In addition to chatting with her onscreen husband Peter Facinelli as they took in the VMAs last night, the actress also shared a couple of awesome pictures of herself: first in the car on the way to the show, then with the Fierce Five.
If you haven’t been checking out the VH1 Twitter account, you should really take a look now. Our very own and very fabulous Kate Spencer and Sabrina Rojas Weiss are actually at Comic-Con and tweeting live updates and behind-the-scenes looks, which is totally awesome. And yesterday was all about — you, guesses it — Breaking Dawn, Part 2. We just posted a selection of the 10 best quotes from yesterday’s conference, which hilariously, had Kristen Stewart telling Robert Pattinson to jokingly, “Shut the f— up!” But apart from hearing what they said, we knew you would want a peek at the entire cast as well, and see how they interacted through the panel. As expected, they were amazing. The very dishy new dad Jackson Rathbone was there, not showing a hint of sleep deprivation. Ashley Greene was as lovely as ever in head-to-toe Michael Kors, while Kristen rocked it in a Fluxus tee, a BCBGMAXAZRIA skirt and Barbara Bui sneakers. The men — Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, Robert and Taylor Lautner — looked smokin’. Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser looked smart-smarts and smart-casual, respectively. And little Mackenize Foy stole the show with that smile of hers. Now we’re going to stop talking and let you have at the gallery so you can see it all for yourself.

Coachella went down for its second weekend in Indio, California, and as expected, the stars flocked to it again. Last weekend had its fair share of controversies attached to it. Not to the festival per se, but to the many celebrities who attended. What was Lindsay Lohan doing there against her judge’s advice? Who was the mystery dude Emma Watson was with? And what exactly was Rihanna smoking? So many questions. No answers just yet. But in contrast, this last weekend of Coachella seemed easy-peasy.
Some celebrities, like Dita von Teese and Busy Philipps, showed up on both Saturday and Sunday. Dita was also spotted hanging out with pal Kelly Osbourne, and her purple hair. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was seen rocking out to Florence Welch. Twilighters Elizabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed (with hubby Paul McDonald) were there, as well as ex-Twilighter Rachelle Lefevre. Joe Jonas hatted up, while Joe Manganiello (and yay for this) took his shirt off. But the cutest photographs by far, were of Alicia Silverstone with her son Bear Blu. Top marks for the baby-size noise-cancelling headphones! Look out for all of the action in our gallery.

Which Stars Were At Coachella This Weekend And What Were They Doing?
Since we listed our 25 favorite vampires of 2011 last week and asked you to vote for your own, the polls have been HOT. Edward and Damon are neck and neck, but Bones is coming up from behind, as book fans seem to have caught onto the race. It’s exciting to watch on our end (Vampire Academy fans from Russia are a force to be reckoned with!), so we decided to leave polls open until 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. In the meantime, let’s look back at who this unusual collection of celebrities would name Vampire of the Year for 2011.
“Anyone from True Blood. They’re all brilliant and fabulous,” Heather Matarazzo told us. And her sentiments were echoed by True Blood werewolf Joe Manganiello: “It would probably be a tie between Stephen Moyer and Alex Skarsgard. I really can’t pick one or the other.”
Alexander Skarsgard’s dad obviously is a big Eric Northman fan as well. “It’s my vampire genes!” Stellan Skarsgard told us.
“Bella Swan!” Elizabeth Reaser said, choosing her on-screen daughter-in-law over her own adoptive “children.”
David Cook went old school, ignoring the “of 2011″ part of the title and choosing Brad Pitt’s Louis de Ponte du Lac from Interview With a Vampire.
Then there were the even less-obvious choices. Questlove nominated Count Chocula. “Hands down, he’s been vampire of the year for me for the last couple of decades.”
Elizabeth Reaser is amazing as Beth in Young Adult. Understated, honest, confident and cool; she’s the perfect complement to Charlize Theron‘s brash, relentless Mavis. (Have you guys seen it? Go go go!) We caught up with the actress and Twilight alum at the LA premiere of the Jason Reitman-directed film (which as been nominated for three Critics’ Choice Awards) and chatted with her about her character and New Year’s resolutions. And then of course we had to ask her this: having worked with both Charlize and Kristen Stewart, which actress does she think will kick more ass in Snow White and the Huntsman?
Look, we’re stumped on this question ourselves. Obviously we have a little bit of a KStew fangirl thing going on (okay, it’s more like ‘a lot bit’) and she looks amazingly tough and fearless as Snow White. Girlfriend leads an army on horseback, for crying out loud! But Charlize radiates badassness both in the SWATH trailer and in real life, and her kickassery skills are second to none. Is it possible that they will kick equal amounts of ass? Could it be? Knowing these two amazing ladies, we don’t doubt it. Check out Liz’s very awesome answer above. (Unrelated: how gorgeous is her hair? Can we have hair like that, please?)
When the first images from Young Adult surfaced on the Web earlier this year, showing Charlize Theron looking bedraggled in her sweats and Mickey Mouse shirt, clutching a Pomeranian in a carrier and a Victoria’s Secret bag, several young adult authors I know took to Twitter immediately. They seemed torn between being excited about the existence of a movie about their profession, especially one written by Diablo Cody and directed by Jason Reitman, and slightly horrified by the idea of being depicted as ladies who can’t be bothered to brush their hair and put on a decent pair of pants before leaving the house. And then when they learned Charlize’s character, Mavis Gary, is kind of a crazy stalker who can’t let go of her high school years, they were a bit worried.
“I watched [the trailer], and I was like, ‘Oh, this is going to give my profession a bad name!” Mortal Instruments series author Cassandra Clare told TheFABlife last week. At the same time, she added, “I really want to see it, because when will there be another movie about a young adult author?”
But Cody, who calls herself “the Sweet Valley superfan of all time” and is writing an upcoming adaptation of Sweet Valley High, is pretty sure there won’t be a huge outcry from the YA author community. “Mavis is one of a kind. I don’t think it’s an indictment of young adult authors as a group. It’s just this one lady is a little bit off-kilter,” she assured us at the movie’s New York premiere. And though she previously only knew Sweet Valley creator Francine Pascal, “since this movie has been screening, I have met some [YA authors] that have come out of the woodwork, and they are all into the movie, so I’m glad.”
