Susan Sarandon‘s daughter Eva Amurri is celebrating her bachelorette party at Lavo in Vegas on Friday. It’s clearly not the era of blushing brides anymore considering the invite (see above) where Eva looks all come-hither in sheer, white and black-detailed lingerie. She’s marrying ex soccer player Kyle Martino, who met his fiancee at her — and this is fate’s hand, clearly — at a lingerie shoot for Maxim magazine. What we’re kinda having a problem with is this — why would anyone want to have such a public bachelorette party with a bunch of random, sweaty people? It seems like such a Kardashian-Paris Hilton thing to do! And that invite is very ‘pimp my wedding’, isn’t it? Looks like every little bit of a celebrity wedding can be encashed now. Do you think it’s in poor taste?

Welcome to The Daily Hot – our round-up of the sexiest pics and stories on the interwebs. Today’s steaming pile of hotness:
Want more commitment from your man? Consider shooting a spread for Maxim. Only a day after actress Eva Amurri tweeted her glee over her upcoming lad-mag pics—”I’m so obsessed with all my lingerie looks from my Maxim shoot! They even let me keep one! Merry Xmas, @kylemartino. ”—@kylemartino gave her an even better gift. “The most wonderful man on this planet is now my FIANCEE!!!!!! #Engaged!” A rep confirmed to People that boyfriend/soccer commentator Kyle Martino had indeed popped the question (“both couldn’t be happier”).
Amurri, 25, is best known for appearing in films like Saved! and playing a stripper on Californication, where she showed off assets clearly inherited from her mother, Susan Sarandon. If her wink emoticons can be trusted (“Ready, set…STRIP!!! ”), we should all be getting another look once those pics come out.
Though we were shocked when Susan Sarandon split with long-time partner Tim Robbins, we’re not surprised to learn the sexy sixty-something has taken to singlehood pretty well, comparing the experience to hang-gliding. “And at some point you pull the cord and you’re suddenly floating, and in your mind it makes absolutely no sense,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “But it’s exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. That’s where I am now.” And as for the “cougar” stigma, especially considered she’s been attached to a 31-year-old ping pong club partner? “No, I love that!”
“It’s a long time to not be dating and then go back into it. I certainly love the idea of being in love, and I love the idea of companionship. Whatever happens next in terms of romance and partners, I don’t know. But it’s exhilarating and terrifying. I think the point is just keep moving, and to just say yes to life.” Having once seen a man holler “yo, mama, loved you in Bull Durham!” to her on the street in Chelsea, we’re guessing life’s been giving her plenty of offers to consider these days. There’s a trend brewing in Hollywood these days where cool celebrity moms take pole-dancing lessons with their daughters. Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri did it and now Demi Moore and Rumer Willis are getting on board. The New York Post reported that Moore gave Willis a pole-dancing lesson at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood for her birthday party and mom and daughter both gave the pole a spin, while A-listers like Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, and Rumer’s stepfather Ashton Kutcher looked on. In perhaps the creepiest quote of the day, the Post reports that after Willis gave it a try “Everyone was cheering, and Leo gave Ashton a high-five.” Hey, your stepdaughter’s thighs can really grip that thing, up high, bro!
We wonder though, is this trend actually cool? We get that working the pole has been a workout craze for a while, but when you get down to it, it’s still not something we’d want to do in front of, with, or even in the same state as our mom. ‘Cause of, you know, the strippery vibe. That’s not something our mom would be proud of. [Photo: Getty Images]
Eva Amurri and her mother Susan Sarandon are probably the hottest mother-daughter combo we can think of, and their relationship seems pretty awesome too. They are each others’ biggest supporters, right down to preparing for roles, as Amurri explained to New York magazine this week.
Amurri recently landed a role as a stripper working her way through school (don’t they all?) on Californication and to prep for the role, she took pole-dancing classes. Not only did her mom approve of the stripper training, she joined in. “My mom came to a strip class with me, actually,” Amurri told the magazine. “She had been so curious about it, and she tried a little bit. She was awesome.” Not surprising that Sarandon, who plays sexy vamps more often than not, would take part in the classes, but it’s awesome nonetheless. [Photo: GettyImages]
What hot soccer stud was spotted in Hollywood driving his black Rolls Royce Phantom with a male pal, with no sign of his posh wife in sight?
