Considering that Fox and NBC networks just had their upfront presentations earlier this week, we had a feeling that CBS wouldn’t be far behind. We were right. The CBS Upfronts Presentation went down in New York yesterday and it seemed that the ladies ruled the roost. Cobie Smulders led the way in a white Rebecca Minkoff “Mistral” dress with cutouts and cheeky red pumps. Apparently, her earrings were designed by Krysten Ritter for JewelMint to benefit Autism Speaks. How I Met Your Mother, FTW! We bet she’s in the best shape of her life after having to fit into that unforgiving catsuit she wore through The Avengers. It was also great to see Lucy Liu, looking impossibly tiny, but fit, in a burgundy Marios Schwab slip.
Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs — the 2 Broke Girls — looked great posing together. We just can’t understand why Kat won’t smile more? She was a knockout in a black dress and nude pumps but wouldn’t stop pouting for some strange reason. Seriously, every photograph we saw didn’t have a hint of a grin in it. Luckily, her co-star Beth, made up for her in the sunshine department, while wearing a lovely royal blue sheath. To see who else attended, you’re going to have to click through our gallery, but we promise you … it’ll be worth it.

The White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner has really become the hot ticket in town. We already know that Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan got invites, for which they were probably very thankful. Now if only they had dressed with gratitude. We’re definitely not saying that no effort went into putting their looks together. It was just all directed the wrong way for both of them. Lindsay’s black satin halter-necked gown and Kim’s heavy green satin version ended up looking tacky. Sorry, ladies, better luck next time. This was Kim’s second time at the event so she should’ve known what to expect. There were plenty of sartorial winners, though. Charlize Theron, as always, nailed it in an Emilio Pucci lace overlay column with Manolo Blahnik heels and a Judith Leiber clutch. Reese Witherspoon was glam in a black Monique Lhuillier gown and stunning turquoise and emerald drop earrings by Irene Neuwirth. Sofia Vergara and Anna Paquin wore black too, with Vergara picking a black textured brocade David Meister cocktail frock, and Paquin, a Hervé L. Leroux gown.
The list of celebrities is a bit of a roll call, but we’ll try to do justice. There was a fair amount of white that popped up. Claire Danes wore the color through an edgy Vivienne Westwood gown, Malin Akerman wore a slightly peachier version of the shade in a vintage Odicini Couture dress. Eva Longoria wore a shorter, Marchesa cocktail variety, while Ginnifer Goodwin wore a snowy H&M frou-frou long, layered number. The supermodels also picked that color with Irina Shayk looking terrific in a slinky wide-legged jumpsuit and Kate Upton who sadly, ended up looking frumpy in a frilled, lacklustre dress. Dakota Fanning and Zooey Deschanel wore textured pastels; the former with Prada and the latter with Oscar de la Renta. Going in the opposite direction with splashes of color were Elizabeth Banks in vermilion Antonio Berardi peplum gown, Rosario Dawson in an emerald Armani Prive very low-cut dress and Viola Davis in a deep orange Amsale sweeping number. We also loved Kate Hudson‘s sequined purple Jenny Packham gown.
Perhaps the only person who went really crazy with a print was Leslie Mann who picked a wildly floral one-shouldered, Naeem Khan gown. Another woman — who is kind of beyond celebrity — wore the same designer and totally showed up Mann, though. Michelle Obama picked a strapless jazzed-up printed Khan dress and rocked the hell out of everybody. See for yourself in our gallery below.

Last night, Alicia Keys continued her work to solve the AIDS crisis, hosting the 8th Annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. While helping to fund research, treatment and care for those affected by AIDS, the guest were treated to performances by the likes of Keys, Usher, Mary J. Blige, will.i.am and more. The evening also honored the late Beatle and philanthropist George Harrison. Our invite was surely lost in the mail, but we’re content to gaze upon the stars’ best red-carpet fashions. Check out the stunning (not all-black) looks worn by Tyra Banks, Chanel Iman, Kerry Washington and more in the gallery below.
This red carpet looked like a bunch of fun! The Friends With Benefits premiere took place in New York City last night, at the Ziegfeld theatre and the whole cast looked like they were having a complete blast. Mila Kunis looked stunning in red Lanvin and clowned around with an equally gorgeous Emma Stone wore a contrast red-and-pink Giambattista Valli. Justin Timberlake always wears suits brilliantly and this time was no exception. Mila and he look like they have genuine chemistry, FYI. Jenna Elfman, also wore strapless white and can we ask how tall this woman is? We get high heels, but she just towers over everyone!
The premiere brought in a host of other famous faces too. Everyone from sexy Irina Shayk to Gayle King to Gossip Guy, Matthew Settle and bombshell starlet Emmanuelle Chirqui showed up. But one arrival has become possibly our favorite random guest of all time. Michael Bolton! Michael Bolton, you guys! Which means you totally have to take a look at our gallery.

Partay time at Lincoln Center in New York yesterday! Stars poured in for the Time’s 100 Gala celebrating Time’s 100 Most Influential People for 2011. We’re proud to say that three of our Top 5 WTF people on the list turned up! Leading that parade was a gorgeous Blake Lively who debuted a new strawberry blonde ‘do. We love it, and we loved her in that sexy Zuhair Murad gown. We reckon she’s on the list for most influential boobs and legs, right? Rain, the South Korean pop star, just looked happy to be there. And Mark Wahlberg, as chiseled as ever, showed up with his sexyface on.
We also love Amy Poehler and Aziz Ansari far too much, so we’re just going to pass on talking about their outfits. But we will talk about freshly brewed brunette Anna Kendrick who wore a black cocktail frock with a dangerously low plunging neckline! She better have put in a whole roll of double-sided tape for that one! Our Ultimate FAB Icon, Chris Colfer, had to be there too! Oprah‘s best buddy, Gayle King, showed up as well looking pretty fine in a cerulean blue gown, and the musician crowd was well-repped by Bruno Mars and ?uestlove. There’s more, folks, so check out our gallery below.

The Heart Truth Red Dress show opened New York Fashion Week yesterday. And what a show it was! The annual show has celebrities wearing different red dresses as symbols to help inspire women to get proactive with heart disease awareness.
The star of the show was Dita von Teese, who killed it in a scarlet Zac Posen gown. Camila Alves came a close second looking statuesque in Kaufman Franco column — but then again, she is a model! Suzanne Somers wore a flirty flounced Ina Soltani number, and we have to say, she looked pretty damn great too. A chestnut haired Denise Richards looked gorgeous in Matthew Williamson, while Patti LaBelle shut it down in a dramatic Zang Toi creation. Take a look at the gallery below to see the likes of Audrina Patridge, Eve, Natasha Bedingfield and more, including a very pregnant Laila Ali in A Pea in the Pod,  rock the runway.
Looks like the lesbian rumors surrounding Oprah and BFF Gayle King are starting to make Oprah lose her cool. In an interview with Barbara Walters, an emotional Oprah declared, “The reason why it irritates me is because it means that somebody must think I’m lying. That’s number one. Number two…why would you want to hide it? That is not the way I run my life.” Who knew non-stop questioning of someone’s sexuality would get her panties all in a twist like that? “I’m not a lesbian. I’m not even kind of a lesbian,” Oprah maintains. Ah, but aren’t we all “kind of a lesbian” after a few drinks, Oprah? Or during sophomore year?
Later in the same interview, we hear about Oprah’s boyfriend Stedman Graham, who, despite what you’ve heard, is still hanging around the Winfrey Mansion in a Speedo (we imagine). Op claims that while in 2003 or 2004, she “made a conscious effort…to pull back on my public appearances with Stedman,” he is still “the love, the lover, the man, the partner, the mate” in Op’s life. So that clears that up! Unless our theory is correct…that Stedman is Gayle! Hey, we’ve seen Norbit; we know what high-tech movie make-up can do.
Tons of stars were on hand yesterday to participate in Oprah‘s Live Your Best Life charity walk in New York City, but Jennifer Hudson continued to impress with her amazing new body at the event.
JHud, who is a Weight Watchers spokeswoman, was one of many big names at the walk, which benefited ten charities and was held in conjuction with the tenth anniversary of Oprah’s O Magazine. Mary J. Blige, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Gayle King, and Bette Midler were among the participants who were part of Oprah’s charitable celebrity entourage. Check out who was looking sporty in our gallery below.

Oprah Winfrey: some days we love her, and some days we’re so over her. Today, we’re back on the love train, mainly because she’s taking the news of her new unauthorized biography in stride and fighting back against some of its claims.
The new bio, by Kitty Kelley, alleges that Oprah dated John Tesh, that she did drugs, and most personally, it reveals the identity of Oprah’s birth father. We repeat the key word here: allegedly. North Robinson, an 84-year-old farmer from Mississippi, claims that he is Winfrey’s father and has tried to get in touch with her so that she will take a paternity test to confirm, but Opes, she ain’t having it. Oprah told the New York Post “I will not be taking a paternity test, ever,” and later, at a media lunch honoring her bestie, Gayle King, Oprah said “Every day, [Gayle]‘s getting herself more and more worked up about all of my new daddies that are now showing up. New daddies who are saying, ‘Hello daughter, call me, I need a new roof.’ Well, this too shall pass.” We should all be so lucky to have a BFF like Gayle who gets worked up for us so we don’t have to. Also, Oprah is hilarious.
It’s amazing that anyone thinks they can try this stuff with Oprah, no one messes with Oprah. Isn’t that a lesson we’ve learned from James Frey and mad cow hamburgers? You’d think people would know by now.
