Earlier this week, we told you about how Miley Cyrus referred to her boyfriend/fiance/superstud Liam Hemsworth as her “hubby” in an interview with Cosmopolitan. The quote sparked an untold number of rumors suggestion that the power-couple have already tied the knot without us catching on. Well, it turns out we missed a crucial part of the interview: She actually straight up said she was married, y’all! “I’m happy I don’t have to date anyone,” she said within the pages. And later on while telling an anecdote she dropped another glaring hint nugget: “‘I’m so happy I’m married, because you guys are so cruel!’”

OK, so she might have just taken a conversational short cut, and what she meant to say was “I’m so happy that I’m about to get married in the very near future.” But that’s kind of a mouthful, no? A rep for Hemsworth strenuously denied the wedding bell buzz to People, saying that they are ”definitely NOT married.”

But hey, reps deny stuff all the time. And it doesn’t explain those Twitpics from Christmas that showed Miley and Liam wearing matching rings. And it really doesn’t explain why those same photos mysteriously vanished soon after being posted! Did Miley and Liam get married in secret? It wouldn’t be the first time in Hollywood history. Jessica Simpson’s “Big Sis” Tweet Joins 5 Other Adorable Celebrity Baby Announcements Of 2012

Jessica Simpson confirmed the pregnancy we pretty much all knew about already with a tweet yesterday that read, “Merry Christmas from my family to yours!” accompanying a deadly cute photo of 7-month-old daughter Maxwell Drew in front of the words “Big Sis” written in the sand. It by far surpasses Simpson’s “Mummy” tweet from last Halloween, and also makes us really wish she’d been able to break this news herself, rather than some “friend” who sold the story to Us weeks ago.

UPDATE: Weight Watchers also let Jessica announce her new pregnancy in a 30-second ad, released today. “Being healthy has become a part of who I am, which is great timing, because I’m having another baby,” she says. (WW made sure to add a printed message on the ad that says, “Pregnant women are not eligible to join Weight Watchers. Jessica has stopped following the plan and intends to return after she gives birth.”)

The announcement made us think back to all the other varied ways in which celebrity moms announced their big news to the world in 2012. Here are some of our favorites:

Amber Rose Follows Beyonce’s Example: Following a couple of weeks of speculation, Amber accompanied Wiz Khalifa to the MTV VMAs this year in a lacy skintight gown and caressed her little bump on the red carpet, leaving no more doubt about their big news. Months later, it looked like Jenna Dewan-Tatum was doing the same red-carpet reveal in her flowy princess gown at VH1 DIVAS, but she and Channing Tatum decided to let us guess for a few more hours before going the typical publicist-to-magazine route.

Gisele And Tom Brady Welcome Baby Girl Vivian … World’s Next Top Model QB, Obvs

Congrats to Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady! The supermodel and QB took the non-tabloid, low-key approach to announcing the latest addition to their family, baby girl Vivian Lake, who was born on Wednesday.

“We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel,” the couple announced on Gisele’s Facebook. “Vivian Lake was born at home on December 5. She is healthy and full of life. Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings.”

We are now immediately wondering whether little Vivian will grow up a tomboy — what with her football-player dad and two older brothers, 5-year-old Jack (Brady’s son with Bridget Moynahan) and Benjamin, who turns 3 on Saturday. Or will she follow mom’s footsteps onto the catwalk? No rush, little one! Enjoy the best of all worlds.

Contrary to the typical patterns of celebrity parents these days, who document their pregnancies with tabloid announcements and nonstop Twitpics and Instagrams, Bunchen and Brady never publicly acknowledged that they were expecting. Instead, the Brazilian beauty was content to be photographed with her ever-growing bump and a knowing smile. Kinda refreshing, no?

You can’t afford this hotness. Supermodel mom Alessandra Ambrosio is the lucky lady chosen to wear Victoria’s Secret’s annual multi-million dollar Fantasy Bra. Or maybe not so lucky, because it probably hurts to wear bejeweled underwear. In the past these pricey pieces of lingerie have run up to $15 million, but this year’s is valued at a more modest $2.5 million…because there’s a recession and all. The 2012 Floral Fantasy lingerie gift set is decked out with amethysts, sapphires, rubies, and a massive white diamond in the center. On the downside, it’s dry clean only.

“It was perfect for me,” says Alessandra, who will hit the catwalk in the stellar ensemble this November at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “I felt they made it for me. It’s very romantic.” The new mother found out she was the chosen angel just three weeks after giving birth to her son, Noah. “I just wanted to scream,” she says of the big moment. “But I won’t lie, I was really worried. I was in total mother mode.” She’s spent the last five months doing some serious workouts to lose the baby weight, and if these photos are anything to go by, we’d say she’s been pretty successful.

With the summer coming to a close we’ve decided to celebrate the only way we know how … by remembering this season’s sexiest celebrity bikini bods. Snooki? Gisele? Tamera? Play Our Guess The Celebrity Baby Bump Game, Summer Edition!

We begin staring at them, wondering if they’re merely the result of a big burrito lunch; then, soon enough, we marvel at their size in proportion to their petite carriers and placing bets on when they’ll pop — yes, we’re talking baby bumps. Particularly those sported by our favorite pregnant celebrities. It’s fascinating how some famous ladies, like Megan Fox and Gisele Bunchen, play coy for months, hiding behind cleverly draped dresses or simply ignoring questions when we know they’d never allow themselves to acquire food babies like the rest of us. Others, like Snooki, Tori Spelling and Vanessa Lachey, flaunt their bumps like crazy, posting pics on Twitter, posing in front of the paps in revealing outfits. To each her own!

But once again, we’d like to make their beautiful maternal bodies into a fun little game to while away your summer afternoon. Guess the celebrity baby bump! And don’t cheat by studying the thumbnails here; that’s just silly.

Tom Brady’s Kissing Quotes In VMAN Might Make Football Fans Of Us Yet

I don’t think Tom Brady’s latest spread for VMAN, or Tim Tebow’s armpitty pics for GQ, are any kind of special effort on the part of the NFL to draw in new female or gay viewers. A) Wrong publications, and B) that’s a terribly sexist thing of me to say, as I know plenty of women and gay men who love the game. BUT, these sexy shots do go a long way in making me, a non-football fan, begin to see these men as more than the padded-up, grunting things they appear to be on the field. Even when Brady’s doing his best to imitate a Doberman pinscher. Because in the interview accompanying his cover story for the men’s fashion mag, he melts my New Yorker heart with this quotes (via E!):

“I grew up [in] … an environment where people weren’t afraid to express how they really felt or to express their emotions. I’m very blessed to be able to do that because with my two boys — I kiss them a thousand times a day.” Awwww. Now tell us about Giselle’s pregnancy already! Why are you pretending that she suddenly has a beer gut? Still not ready? OK, at least he said he wants to have four kids (doing his part for the gene pool!), and he really does look good in that tux.

Welcome back to the ever-popular and much beloved VH1 Celebrity Bikini Awards! Yes, it’s that time of year again, where we pit your favorite stripped down celebs against one another to see has the most bangin’ bikini bod of 2012. Happy summer, folks!

Step back, beach babes: It’s time to leave it to the professionals! We can’t have a bikini contest without mentioning these lovely ladies who get paid to strut their stuff on runways and beaches around the world. Kate Upton has been shaping up to be the queen of the summer with her reign on the Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover and her super hot (and patriotic) GQ spread. But she definitely has some rock hard competition in the form of former SI cover girl Brooklyn Decker, not to mention mega-hot model mamas Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes. We’ll let Gisele Bundchen join in the fun too, even though she’s technically only got half of a bikini. But her husband, Tom Brady, lost the Super Bowl, so we have some sympathy for her. Factor in supermodel legend Naomi Campbell, Victoria’s Secret angel Irina Shayk and Italian superhottie Claudia Romani, and you realize that it can be anybody’s game.

Gisele Bunchen Shows What Counts As A “Baby Bump” On A Supermodel

That “bump” you see on Gisele in the photos taken of Gisele last week looks a hell of a lot like what we like to call “breakfast.” But yeah, on a supermodel, it very well could be proof that the 32-year-old Brazilian beauty is in fact three months pregnant with her second child with husband Tom Brady. Us Weekly cited an unnamed source as confirmation that 2-year-old Benjamin was going to be a big brother.

On the other hand, the Boston Herald says Gisele’s rep denied the report. “She has not shared any baby news with any of her inner circle,” the spokesperson said in an email to the paper. “I think it is a slow news day at Us lol.”

Whether or not the rumor is true, we would like to say these two know how to make a cute baby — and Tom’s got another cutie, Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan — so we certainly understand wanting to keep at it!
