Gucci Mane Arrested For Battery And Violating Probation

Gucci Mane has been arrested on charges that stemmed from an incident that occurred back in January. The rapper, whose real name is Radric Davis, had a warrant out for his arrest for an incident that occurred in January when he offered a woman $150 to go to a hotel with him and, after she refused, he pushed her out of his moving car.

While he was visiting his probation officer in Atlanta last week, he was arrested for misdemeanor battery and for violating his probation as a result of that. Gucci has been on probation since 2005 for an aggravated assault conviction, which he also served six months in prison for. He was also arrested in November after police officers saw driving the rapper erratically and arguing with a passenger in his car, and after being pulled over, Gooch hit the man and needed to be subdued with pepper spray.

Gucci seems especially angry and aggravated, but you might be too if you had a giant ice cream cone tattoo on your face.

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Gucci Mane’s New Face Tattoo

We have a  lot of mixed feelings about Gucci Mane’s ice cream tattoo. On one hand, the 12-year-old girl in us thinks it is adorable. On the other, Gucci is now a grown man with a delicious dessert inked onto his head. It seems that Gooch is out and about after his release from a mental health facility a few days ago, and ready to make some permanent mistakes. Piercing shop employee John Murray recorded Mane’s trip to Tenth Street Tattoo in Atlanta, where the rapper asked for his cone topped with lightening bolts and his catchphrase, “Brrr.” What better what for Gucci to rationalize his plea of mental incompetence earlier this month than with a tattoo that looks like a Lisa Frank folder?

Maybe the tattoo came in celebration of the Tuesday release of “Gucci Rag Top,” Mane’s new single with Kid Sister. Or more likely, in celebration of all the hundreds of beers he must have been drinking to go through with this. Either way, Gucci will be rocking the scoops at his scheduled appearance in court January 24. If this doesn’t convince the judge that Gucci isn’t fit to stand trial, at least he won’t have much room left for those prison tattoos!

Gucci Mane Sent To Mental Health Treatment Facility

Gucci Mane (a.k.a. Radric Davis) was in court yesterday, but rather than face the judge, he filed a “Special Plea of Mental Incompetency” which got him sent to a mental health facility for a month. The rapper faces a hearing as a result of a string of probation violations, but he filed the plea claiming he was unable to “intelligently participate in the probation revocation hearing,” and the judge sentenced him to the facility where he is currently being evaluated. Mane’s lawyer, Michael Holmes, said the reason for his seeking treatment was confidential.

When he is released from the facility, he will then be expected to attend the hearing, which could result in up to seventeen months of prison time.
