The White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner has really become the hot ticket in town. We already know that Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan got invites, for which they were probably very thankful. Now if only they had dressed with gratitude. We’re definitely not saying that no effort went into putting their looks together. It was just all directed the wrong way for both of them. Lindsay’s black satin halter-necked gown and Kim’s heavy green satin version ended up looking tacky. Sorry, ladies, better luck next time. This was Kim’s second time at the event so she should’ve known what to expect. There were plenty of sartorial winners, though. Charlize Theron, as always, nailed it in an Emilio Pucci lace overlay column with Manolo Blahnik heels and a Judith Leiber clutch. Reese Witherspoon was glam in a black Monique Lhuillier gown and stunning turquoise and emerald drop earrings by Irene Neuwirth. Sofia Vergara and Anna Paquin wore black too, with Vergara picking a black textured brocade David Meister cocktail frock, and Paquin, a Hervé L. Leroux gown.
The list of celebrities is a bit of a roll call, but we’ll try to do justice. There was a fair amount of white that popped up. Claire Danes wore the color through an edgy Vivienne Westwood gown, Malin Akerman wore a slightly peachier version of the shade in a vintage Odicini Couture dress. Eva Longoria wore a shorter, Marchesa cocktail variety, while Ginnifer Goodwin wore a snowy H&M frou-frou long, layered number. The supermodels also picked that color with Irina Shayk looking terrific in a slinky wide-legged jumpsuit and Kate Upton who sadly, ended up looking frumpy in a frilled, lacklustre dress. Dakota Fanning and Zooey Deschanel wore textured pastels; the former with Prada and the latter with Oscar de la Renta. Going in the opposite direction with splashes of color were Elizabeth Banks in vermilion Antonio Berardi peplum gown, Rosario Dawson in an emerald Armani Prive very low-cut dress and Viola Davis in a deep orange Amsale sweeping number. We also loved Kate Hudson‘s sequined purple Jenny Packham gown.
Perhaps the only person who went really crazy with a print was Leslie Mann who picked a wildly floral one-shouldered, Naeem Khan gown. Another woman — who is kind of beyond celebrity — wore the same designer and totally showed up Mann, though. Michelle Obama picked a strapless jazzed-up printed Khan dress and rocked the hell out of everybody. See for yourself in our gallery below.

The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards took place on Monday night at the Skylight in New York. Young Hollywood was well rep’d by the likes of Amanda Seyfried, Joe Jonas, Chloe Moretz, Mia Wasikowska, Zoe Kravitz and Olivia Wilde. It was couple’s night as well with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, La La and Carmelo Anthony, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell and Cobra Starship‘s Gabe Saporta with designer Erin Featherstone making an appearance. The event was presided over by the steely eyes of Anna Wintour, so you know everyone rethought their outfits at least five times before heading out.

Mazel Tov! Ivanka Trump had a baby girl yesterday in New York. This is the first child for Trumpelina and her husband, Jared Kushner. Ivanka tweeted the happy news herself, writing, “This morning @jaredkushner and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world. We feel incredibly grateful & blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!”
She also added, “We have our work cut out for us to ensure that our daughter is grounded and not spoiled.” We congratulate the new parents! Yay for diaper duty! What we really want to know is what they’re planning to (or have already) named their baby girl. What are you guys thinking? Normal, regular name or celebrity-strange name?
They all came in droves to watch the The Hangover Part II! And by “they” we mean every type of celebrity. The supermodels showed up—Selita Ebanks and Alessandra Ambrosio. The fashion designer showed up—Calvin Klein. Even figure skater Johnny Weir turned up! The screening was held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City, with an after party at The Top of The Standard.
The cast—Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianaki —held court with director, Todd Phillips. They were probably quite pleased with the mixed bag crowd who showed up, including the likes of Zach Braff, James van der Beek, Ciara, Ivanka Trump and Russell Simmons. For the full 411 on who was there, check out our gallery below.

Justin Massler, Ivanka Trump‘s stalker, was denied bail in a Manhattan court yesterday after being extradited from L.A for the trial. The assistant DA Lucrece Francois revealed some pretty scary facts about him to the overseeing judge. She said that Massler had, “threatened to track the victim overseas to escape the court’s jurisdiction and that he “would go down in a hail of gunfire” rather than surrender to authorities. The alleged stalker, who is from Nevada, told officials his address was “a volcano in Hawaii”. We’re hoping that Ivanka feels safer now that he’s still in custody. She doesn’t need this kind of stress, especially when pregnant!
Massler was arrested last month for missing two court cases in Manhattan that stemmed from his alleged stalking of Ivanka. He was previously charged with stalking and harassing Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, by sending them weirdo messages and threatening to kill himself in her NYC jewelry store. Of his behavior, he had said, “I could stop bothering her but I like her.” He also blames aliens for this whole situation, as he explained in detail in a completely bizarre YouTube video, claiming, “It’s really aliens who are responsible. It’s like if a guy had a gun to the back of your head and said you have to write a Twitter message to Ivanka Trump. Would I be guilty of a crime? Not really. They don’t seem to acknowledge the alien defense in court.” This is seriously whack. Massler is facing criminal contempt charges and up to four years in jail. Which seems like a very good thing, because do we really want someone like that walking around free? He needs help.
Where’s the tiara, Emmy Rossum? The Phantom Of The Opera star looked quite the princess at last night’s dance at the American Natural History Museum in NYC, putting her hair in a bun and piling jewelry on top of a low-cut sequined top. Liking the look? Check out the gallery (including guests like Claire Danes, Charlotte Ronson, Michelle Trachtenberg and Ivanka Trump) and let us know in our TheFABLife poll.
The Donald’s little girl is officially off the market! Ivanka Trump married New York Observer publisher Jared Kushner yesterday at a lavish ceremony at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. with 500 guests including Regis Philbin, Barbara Walters, Rudy Giuliani, and Emmy Rossum and boyfriend Adam Duritz. The couple will also be having a second reception on Wednesday, with twice as many people and then will reportedly honeymoon in Africa.

Father Donald may have taught Ivanka Trump to worship the almighty dollar, but she’s converting to Judaism before she marries New York Observer owner Jared Kushner. According to Page Six, Rabbi Haskel Lookstein is handling the conversion. “She and Jared were in shul during all the holidays and ate in the sukkah every night,” says their source.
Ironically, Donald got in a bit of trouble with Jewish groups in 2005, when he failed to punish an Apprentice contestant for calling another competitor a “tight Jewish boy.” Still, we expect Papa will be fine with his daughter’s choice—after all, Kushner is a good, sweet, real estate heir and newspaper owner.
