When we first looked at the photos from last night’s premiere of Warm Bodies, we were like, “Look at all the pretty young people! And also John Malkovich!” Then we looked a little closer. Joining the zombie love story’s stars Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Malkovich, Dave Franco, Rob Corddry, Analeigh Tipton and Cory Hardrict was a collection of what you might say are supernaturally beautiful stars. There was a vampire (Jackson Rathbone) and some werewolves (Kiowa Gordon and Booboo Stewart) from Twilight. Secret Circle witch-turned-Vampire Diaries werewolf Phoebe Tonkin repped her kind. And some Teen Wolf ladies graced the carpet too.
There weren’t any fairies or angels in sight, as far as we could tell, unfortunately. We also sorely missed the presence of a certain dystopian heroine … but Hoult was very gracious when E! asked him if he’s proud of his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, who’s looking like a favorite for an Oscar next month. “Yeah, very proud,” he said. Sniiiffff!

Have you ever heard of the Baader-Meinhof effect? Basically it’s a cognitive illusion in which, once you become aware of something, you notice it everywhere. For us, 2012 meant a year of noticing wigs in every single aspect of our lives. From TV shows like Vampire Diaries to movies like Liz & Dick to meat space like celebrities’ heads, we couldn’t blink without seeing yet another wig. Nor did we want to.
For example, did anyone else see The Hobbit? Critics turned up their nose at the film’s length, but no one breathed a word about all the magnificent dwarf wigs. (It’s better this way. It was a delightful surprise.) While we try to figure out how to obtain a braided-beard-attached-to-a-toupee wig like ol’ Bombur, check out the best of the best of 2012’s wigs. Lindsay Lohan…you did us proud. Did we miss any winners? Please tell us. We genuinely want to know!

The Twilight stars look particularly yearbook-y in this photo from Comic-Con.
Even the most amateur of movie biz followers knows that stars of mega-franchise movies face a huge hurdle when it comes to finding work later But then again, for every Elijah Wood or Mark Hamill, there’s an Emma Watson or Harrison Ford. Which category will the Twilight cast fall into? We’re taking a close look at all the movies our favorite vampires and werewolves have lined up here, and while we were a bit surprised to see who’s dance card is all filled up and whose IMDb page is looking a little blank at the moment, we’re also choosing to see those empty calendars as great opportunities. Especially now that casting directors must be noting all the cash that Breaking Dawn – Part 2 brought in over the weekend. In the meantime, here’s what we’re looking forward to from the cast next:
Robert Pattinson: Rob seems hellbent on defying any and every box you might want to place him in, post Twilight, so his range of projects is vast. In pre-production, he’s got Mission: Blacklist, in which he’ll play a military interrogator who helped find Saddam Hussein; Hold On to Me, in which he’ll play the love interest of Carey Mulligan, who’s plotting to kidnap the town’s richest guy; The Rover, about car thieves in the Australian Outback; and Queen of the Desert, about early-20th-century archaelogist Gertrude Bell (played by Naomi Watts). Then it looks like he’ll be re-teaming with Cosmopolis helmer David Cronenberg for something called Maps to the Stars. We’re breathless after just summarizing all that.
Kristen Stewart: By contrast, KStew found herself telling E!, “I’m kinda desperate to get a job right now,” on the BD2 black carpet last week. After the release of On the Road in December, she’s got nothing official on her plate. But there are three possible flicks for her: Snow White and the Huntsman 2, which she might star in after all, despite rumors the movie was going in a different direction. Also, there’s Focus, the heist movie starring Ben Affleck. She’s also said to be in the running for Lie Down in Darkness, based on a novel by William Styron about a seriously screwed up family living in 1950s Virginia. On the other hand, Kristen had a very busy 2011, so we can also picture her taking a bit of a break — maybe perfecting her sax skills — and then making something huge a little later down the line.
Taylor Lautner: We think the disappointing box office take of Abduction may have caused Taylor (or his people) to opt for a breather before grabbing all the offers coming his way. We think his decision to make the comedy Grown Ups 2 his next movie is brilliant, though. We’ve seen in the Twilight movies and a number of little videos along the way that he’s got comedic chops to go with those abs. But then he’ll use those abs again in Tracer, which is, no joke, a parkour movie.
At this hour, only one member of the VH1 Celebrity team, Kate Spencer of course, has seen The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, and she has dutifully avoided spoiling that big old surprise twist at the end for the rest of us. Except when I was watching her interviews, she couldn’t help alluding to a few spoilery things while talking to some of the Cullens. I tried to hold my ears and sing over that part, but it made transcribing a little difficult. And during Monday night’s big premiere live stream, it seemed to me like the Yahoo! reporters were hinting a little too hard at what goes down. If I’m nervous about the big surprise getting leaked, I can’t imaging what it’s been like for the cast, who’ve managed to hold their tongues about it for almost two years now.
“It just terrifies me that one report might ruin it for someone out there!” Jackson Rathbone told us. But here’s what he could say to tease the mood of this ending, which is something of a departure from the book: “What [director Bill Condon] really brought to this final film is a romantic aspect of just looking back. It really speaks [to me] as an actor … it really kind of brought a lot of fond memories.”
We need help, Jackson Rathbone fans of the world. When Jackson and Nikki Reed sat down with VH1’s Kate Spencer to talk Breaking Dawn – Part 2, Nikki quite entertainingly teased her vampire brother about the fact that she was totally thrown off by him not wearing cowboy boots that day.
“I’ve been staring at your feet all day thinking, ‘What’s different about you?’ ” she said, just as the cameras began rolling.
“It’s the shoes,” he admitted.
“Ladies and gentlemen…” she continued.
“Don’t. Let’s not call it out.”
“I mean, you don’t understand … Jackson goes to the gym in cowboy boots,” Nikki explained. “Jackson does everything in cowboy boots. Jackson showers in his cowboy boots.”
“Those are specific showering cowboy boots!” he protested.
But here’s where we need your help: Through that whole exchange none of the cameras in the room panned over to the non-cowboy boots in question! So frustrating! So, Team Jasper, if you guys have seen any photos of Jackson’s feet on the BD2 press day (November 1), send it our way. We’re dying to know what he was wearing. Were they these lace-up shoes that he wore to Ellen?
To be fair, we’ve combed through photos of Jackson and found plenty of instances in which he’s not wearing his favorite type of footwear. But we’d say on two out of three occasions, he’s in some kind of boots. Check out the evidence in the gallery above.

We already know that Kristen Stewart is a stone cold fox in Zuhair Murad at the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 premiere in L.A. tonight. But there’s a lot more best-dressed action going on, on the black carpet as well. Kristen’s boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, for instance, is pulling off a bottle green Gucci suit. We kid you not. Also wearing the shade is a dark haired Dakota Fanning in an emerald Elie Saab, that’s lovely on her. Bella Thorne is in the same color too, wearing a mullet dress with a ruffled hem, paired with a black belt and pumps. Saoirse Ronan is ethereal in a white Simone Rocha dress and brogues, and the frock has this interesting broderie anglaise-esque hem on it. Christian Serratos is red-hot in a fire engine Zac Posen gown, YSL shoes, Judith Leiber clutch and Kisshy jewelry and is totally channeling an old Hollywood screen siren. Kiernan Shipka is chic in a navy frock with raspberry pumps and we want the whole damn thing. As we always do because she has the best stylist in the whole world who we want to be friends with. But … who really stole the show is Amadou Ly — Henri from the French coven — who came attired in full tribal gear. A nod to his Senegalese heritage? Either way, we love it! Check out all our picks in the gallery below and tell us if you agree!

Cue the “Memories”/”Through the Years”/sappy song of choice. We are tearing up at the thought that tonight is the very last Twilight red carpet of all time, unless, of course, they decide to do that much-debated spin-off movie or, god forbid, remake these for some future generation. We’ll be waxing nostalgic all week, even as we look forward to the movie’s release on Thursday night, and we thought we’d begin with a simple look back at what our favorite stars wore to the big Los Angeles premieres, beginning with the first Twilight in 2008. Stay tuned for plenty more from tonight’s festivities!

We’ve been cooing about Jackson Rathbone‘s son, Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI, for weeks now. So is he! Jackson was at the VMA’s last week and told VH1’s Kate Spencer, “I’m used to long hours and late nights, but it’s much more rewarding raising a little baby. He’s the most wonderful thing. He’s so beautiful, he’s got the greatest smile, little dimples. We’re blessed because he sleeps through the night.” Now we want to gush! Anyway, Jackson’s been giving us peeks at his family life through his Twitter account and we can’t get enough of little Monroe, especially when we see him in vintage-inspired gangster poses. And now, he’s revealed who Roe’s famous godmother is. Click after the jump to find out who. Any guesses? Read more…
We have no idea which is cuter: Jackson Rathbone’s new baby boy, or Jackson Rathbone describing his new baby boy. Check out the video above and you’ll see what we mean. It’s a tossup! VH1’s Kate Spencer caught up with the Twilight actor on the VMA red carpet last night, and asked him about life as a dad since the birth of his son Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI in early July. And it sounds pretty darn adorable.
“I’m used to long hours and late nights, but it’s much more rewarding raising a little baby,” says the 27-year old. “He’s the most wonderful thing. He’s so beautiful, he’s got the greatest smile, little dimples.” Not only is he super precious, but he’s also a sleeper. “We’re blessed because he sleeps through the night,” he added. Sounds like the ideal baby situation to us!
Jackson Rathbone tweeted out the coolest vintage-looking, gangster-esque family photograph a few hours ago, with a message that read, “Family photo fun time! Thanks to alisondyerphoto for the shots!” Hi, Baby Roe!
