The long-delayed trailer for David O’Russell‘s quirky comedy, Accidental Love, has finally dropped, and the fact that it was filmed seven years ago couldn’t be more evident.
Laverne Cox, Kevin Hart, and Shonda Rhimes react to the Ferguson decision, Halle Berry goes extra lengths to ensure Gabriel Aubry won’t change their daughter’s appearance, Bette Midler slams a young pop star, and more of today’s First Dibs.
Opening this weekend is yet another adaptation of one of Nicholas Sparks’ romantic novels, The Best of Me, starring James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan. This makes the ninth Sparks novel to find its way to the big screen with another one (The Longest Ride) coming in April. Since 1999, when his first adaptation appeared in theaters, there have been countless Sparks-like stories to flood theaters. Films, such as The Vow and Remember Me, play on many of the author’s most popular tropes that its hard to know whether or not you’re watching an authentic “Nicholas Sparks Film” (NSF).
As the country takes a moment to remember John F. Kennedy on the 50th anniversary of his assassination, we decided to look back on his last impacting in pop culture. In the five decades since his death, JFK’s story has been told countless times both on the big screen and the small one. Whether it’s a look at the younger years, like Patrick Dempsey in the TV movie, JFK: Restless Youth, or a controversial portrayal of his presidency, such as The Kennedys starring Greg Kinnear, actors have not shied away from taking JFK’s iconic look and thick Massachusetts accent.
Is James Marsden the father of January Jones‘s baby? Why is Tom Cruise wooing Jack Nicholson? Does Jena Malone‘s Johanna Mason have as eye-popping of an entrance in the Catching Fire film as she does in the book?
Is James Marsden a secret nerd? Where did Diane Kruger swoon romantically into Joshua Jackson‘s arms? And what does Christopher Mintz-Plasse find both “twisted” and “hilarious” about his villain in Kick-Ass 2?
It’s models having models up in here! But first, baby news from the woman we model our life after (that’s a good segue, right?)(But seriously, the woman is married to Chris Pratt. Chris. Pratt.) Anna Faris. “He’s doing great!” the Dictator actress gushed at the Samsung Galaxy S III launch yesterday, letting slip that she’s expecting a boy. “We’re growing every day!” The actress and her Parks and Rec star husband are expecting their son in the fall, which means we have over two months to find a spouse…get pregnant…uh, star in several Scary Movie sequels…and meet Sacha Baron-Cohen to catch up with her. Wow, we have not been using our free time wisely at all, have we?
Now to the actual get-paid-to-be-hot model moms: 30 Rock star James Marsden is allegedly expecting a child with model Rose Costa; Marsden has two other children with ex-wife Lisa Linde, from whom he split in October after 11 years of marriage. Marsden and Costa are no longer together, but what better than an adorable baby to bind to insanely attractive people together forever? Meanwhile, Kings of Leon singer Caleb Followill and Victoria Secret model spouse Lily Aldridge welcomed their undoubtedly gorgeous daughter Dixie Pearl yesterday morning in Nashville. No, seriously. Look at this couple and imagine their offspring. There can be no doubt:

It’s going to be even more impossible to believe the amazing Tina Fey as a high-strung sexually undesirable pseudo-spinster now that we’ve seen Liz Lemon’s hotdog-selling boyfriend Criss without his shirt on. Dang, everyone. Dang. New jokes unrelated to Liz Lemon’s pathetic sex life, you’re gonna need ‘em! 30 Rock actor James Marsden showed off more than his impeccable timing while in Hawaii this week for the Maui Film Festival. Personally, we can’t wait until we’re 40-something workaholic nerds and get a Hollywood-hot yet emotionally supportive life partner. Haha, that’s going to be awesome! Everyone shut up; we’re laughing with happiness!
Marsden’s abs had the chance to say aloha to our delighted eyeballs because the X-Men actor is currently at the film festival to attend a screening of his upcoming comedy Bachelorette, costarring Kirsten Dunst and Isla Fisher. Because he’s just that amazing, Marsden is also accepting the Maui Film Festival Nova Award, an accolade which is apparently given for “stunningly original and seamless performances consistently infuse each character they play with unique insight and wisdom.” Stunning, check. Unique, yessum. Wisdom…oh, might that we hit Liz Lemon’s age and be wise enough to wrangle a man friend this adorable. A-men!

If you’ve been following our Tony Awards coverage, you’ll notice that it’s been all about the women at the event so far. Well, that stops here, right now. Because while some of the looks the ladies wore were lovely, the men, in their tuxedos and skinny ties far outshone them. The host of the evening, Neil Patrick Harris, was the spiffiest of them all in a charcoal tuxedo jacket and black tie from the Spring 2012 Calvin Klein Collection. Looking super in classic tuxedos were Nick Jonas, Ricky Martin, Hugh Jackman, David Burtka and James Marsden. This is not to say that the tie brigade was any less. Andrew Garfield, Josh Groban and Matthew Morrison looked pretty hot in their elegant suits. Eschewing any sort of neck piece completely was John Stamos who wore all-black and didn’t end up looking out of place at all. Anyone who has that sort of face will be welcome anywhere, in whatever they choose to wear. The fact that his ensemble was cut impeccably, was an added bonus. Have your fill in the gallery below. They’re all in there!

We’re very relieved to see that most of the celebrities at Sundance this year have opted to leave their skimpy Los Angeles clothing in their fancy suitcases and don proper winter gear for their Park City romps. Some, like Liv Tyler, learned the hard way that fashion shouldn’t trump practicality, as she told VH1 News.
“It’s all about the shoes,” said the actress, who was there to promote Robot and Frank — a movie starring Frank Langella as an elderly ex-jewel thief and his robot. “Last year, I don’t know what I was thinking, I wore these little Lanvin flats with little white socks. Everything else was all warm and decked out, and I was walking through the slush with frozen toes. So this year I came prepared!”
And does “prepared” include some good long underwear?
