Thanks to the return of Valerie Cherish, 2014 was the year of the comeback — or at least, The Comeback. We hope 2015 follows suit, because there are some long missed celebrities we want back in a big way. Read more…
One black and one white have already landed on the worst-dressed list at the Elle Women In Hollywood party, thanks to Lea Michele and Julianne Hough. The rest of the monochromatic bunch did alright for themselves, thankfully. Emma Watson played it super safe, perhaps because she was picking up the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award. We’re assuming she’s wearing Calvin Klein! Elle Fanning shook things up as she usually does — we can’t believe we actually said that about a 14 year-old, but it’s true — in an edgy Calvin Klein dress and Dolce & Gabbana shoes and bag. Not many people could carry of that length, but Elle ends up looking coltish and youthful and pulls it off like a pro. We also can’t believe we’re saying this about a 12 year-old but we should get used to it because our favorite Kiernan Shipka is a sartorial star and didn’t disappoint at all in a gorgeous, age-appropriate Moschino dress. Is it wrong to want a 12 year-old’s wardrobe? We can’t help it — she always looks so wonderful!
We don’t want to rag on Uma Thurman because she just had a baby recently, so we won’t say much. But what we will say is that half-sheer skirts and lank hair don’t work on anyone. They wouldn’t even work on Jaime King, who is gorgeous and blessed with a body that comes around once every century or something. Luckily she went minimal and safe, like Emma, in pure white. We also think that Jenna Fischer‘s Basler dress, Cole Haan shoes and Lauren Merkin bag would have pulled together beautifully if she did something more exciting to her hair and face. A red lip wouldn’t kill her, right?

As we were psyching ourselves up for our Summer Movie Preview week and the movie season in general, we decided to ask the stars themselves what flicks they’re looking forward to. Some of them, as you can see in the video above, had their answers ready: The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus and Rock of Ages were popular choices. Others, like Michelle Williams, gave us embarrassed looks as they admitted to not having a ready made movie calendar in their heads. Well, Michelle and the rest of the you can relax now. We’ve got a handy-dandy list here. And before, while and after you print it out, don’t forget to vote for your favorite Heroes, Heroines, Villains and Funny Ladies from this summer’s movies!
The Avengers – Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, Samuel L. Jackson
LOL (limited release) – Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore, Ashley Greene, Adam Sevani, Douglas Booth
Dark Shadows – Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller, Eva Green, Chloe Grace Moretz

Since making her name on The Office, Jenna Fischer has played female leads in a lot of movies where the men get way more to do—Blades Of Glory, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, The Promotion, Hall Pass—so it’s refreshing to see nobody from the Frat Pack is taking top billing in her new film, A Little Help. Fischer plays a frustrated mom whose philandering husband (Chris O’Donnell) falls over dead, leaving her to provide for their pissed off son. The film, which debuted at the Seattle Film Festival almost exactly a year ago, doesn’t have a release date yet, but the new trailer above should definitely bring the film a little buzz. Hopefully they’ll start promoting this thing heavily soon—you gotta take advantage of Jenna’s baby bump!
Normally we avoid baby bump speculation, but we spotted these pictures of Jenna Fischer out to dinner last night with her husband Lee Kirk and our Preggo Siren went off at full blast. There’s nothing on the web about her being knocked up, but check her out — stretchy shirt, glowing face, luscious hair and a big ol’ bump for days. And we say this not as gossip mongers but as baby bump experts (because we just got rid of ours five months ago). In March she told Redbook, “I already wanted kids, but even more so now.” Hm, was she dropping hints back then? While we wait for Jenna to confirm our suspicions on her MySpace page (she may be the last person using that site) we’ll offer our congratulations just in case we happen to be right. Way to go, Pammy B!

Alyssa Milano‘s name doesn’t even make the poster on her new movie Hall Pass, but she was the biggest star at the film’s premiere in LA night, thanks to Alyssa announcing her pregnancy only a few days before. It was her first time on the carpet since the revelation, and she was happy to show off her belly with a series of “proud and expectant” poses for the cameras. Not that we mind—much easier to talk about a baby bump than what Jason Sudeikis was wearing.
See more pics of Milano, and the actual stars of Hall Pass, in the gallery below.

At any award show, for every sartorial winner, there’s always a disaster to balance it all out. The 2011 SAG Awards were no exception. Our 10 best dressed ladies (photos) sparkled, but unfortunately, there was also some fashion fails. Leading the pack was Kim Kardashian, who needs to realize that a lone bedazzled boob is never a good idea.
We’d like to offer this gallery as constructive criticism because we like every single actress on this list of style shame. Especially Jane Lynch, who, as Sue Sylvester, could totally kick our asses. Claire Danes is surprisingly on this list too—and you’ll see why.

Rain be damned! Hollywood’s elite came out for the Golden Globes in their finest, and man did they do it up right! Emily Blunt continued her streak as a red carpet princess in a pink frilly number, Marion Cotillard‘s sexy slit revealed some black lace, Tina Fey channeled Marilyn Monroe in a 50s-inspired frock, Sandra Bullock was bold in bright purple, and Olivia Wilde sizzled in a shimmery Gucci gown. What rocker was suprisingly hot and friendly, gladly taking photos and chatting with fans while at Starbucks in downtown Manhattan?
