Mad Men Cast Sums Up The New Season In One Word … Amazeballs?

It’s here! The return of Mad Men after two long years is practically being hailed as television’s second coming, and VH1 News was there at the premiere to get the inside scoop from the cast. Fans of the show know that the last season ended with one of the biggest WTF cliff-hangers of all time. So what can we expect from season five? We asked the stars to sum up the new series in one word, and their answers were everything we could hope for!

“Shocking. Surprising. Some sort of  ‘S’  word,” said Jon Hamm, while Jared Harris went straight to the heart of the matter by offering “amazeballs.” Well said, sir! January Jones got surprisingly shy when asked to sum up season five. “I can’t! If I think of one word, I feel like it’ll give it away,” she laughed. But eventually she settled on “suspense.” But the final word belongs to John Slattery, who plays office renegade Roger Sterling. “Two words … surprising and satisfying.” Technically he broke the rules, but we’ll take it.

Dapper Don Draper Re-Emerges On The Set Of Mad Men

While not looking his best at the Emmys over the weekend, these pics taken on the set of Mad Men yesterday show Jon Hamm looking decidedly less fugs. Hamm was his usual chiseled and handsome self while hanging out between takes, although we have to admit he seems a little annoyed. Maybe he’s wondering why there’s no one else as hot as him around. Or maybe the millionth person just asked him what he thinks about Pan Am. Co-stars John Slattery and Vincent Kartheiser were also on hand to round out everyone’s favorite ad-firm. It’s so good to see everyone back after well over a year between seasons. We can’t wait til March 12th! Until then, check out the gallery below to get your 60s hunk fix.
