Vanessa Ives (Eva Green), Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett), and their crew is back and more than ready to kick some ass in Showtime’s psychological thriller Penny Dreadful. If you aren’t yet a fan, you will be after taking a look at these sick season two posters. Read more…
Megan Boone isn’t afraid of James Spader, Jennifer Lawrence may have gotten wasted on Oscar night, and James Franco cannot stress enough that he didn’t have sex with Lindsay Lohan.
It’s been game on between Amanda Seyfried and Anne Hathaway with all the promotional events surrounding Les Miserables. Amanda just scored herself another win with this InStyle January 2013 cover because she looks so … polished. That’s the word we’re going for because it’s so appropriate considering she’s wearing such a genteel powder-blue Chanel bodysuit and skirt, and not to mention those gorgeous silver Jimmy Choos. We vote her hair as the most covetable of the year as well because it’s giving us serious follicle envy! Luckily, and predictably — because we love her potty mouth — the interview inside the magazine isn’t as genteel as the cover. She’s talking about the nude scenes she’s done for Lovelace and about the fact that they’re really, erm, believable. “It’s not about my body. It’s not about me.,” she says. “You’re playing somebody else. You’re not going to believe a love scene if the people are dressed. You’re not going to believe a stripper who has on a bra and underwear the whole time.” Guess that means we’re to expect no bra or underwear. She’s also talking about her lovelife and harks back to her time (well-spent) with one Mister Josh Hartnett. Remember that phase? Her hilarious quote reads, “I can’t date anybody without it being portrayed as a serious relationship in the tabloids. It sucks! Like Josh Hartnett and I were friends; we hung out, we dated. I don’t actually have sex with every male I come into contact with.” Amanda … never change.

Trying to keep up with Rihanna’s relationship rumors is like trying to keep track of the most complex soap opera in human history. The “We Found Love” singer seems to find new love about as often as the rest of us change socks. At least it you believe the tabloids, that is. For all we really know, Rihanna could be living the life of a nun…a very scantily clad nun. But barely a week goes by when a story of Riri’s new alleged hookup comes spiraling out into the gossip universe, and this long weekend wasn’t any different.
Rihanna was spotted at the Miami club LIV on Sunday getting their swag on in the Florida heat along side long-rumored flame Drake. But they can’t be together because the New York Daily News says she hooking up with bad boy New York Knicks player J.R. Smith. But how can that be if she’s seducing the recently legal Justin Bieber!? No, you’re all wrong: She’s actually entered into a lesbian relationship with her dear friend Melissa Forde. But is Ashton Kutcher involved!? If so, HOW!??!
It’s all too much! So to help you make sense of the swirling vortex that we call Rihanna’s speculative love-life, we’ve assembled this helpful (and very thorough) timeline of all her hookups and relationships, both real and imagined. Enjoy!

Is it just us, or does Amanda Seyfried really get around? Dominic Cooper, Ryan Phillippe, Alexander Skarsgard, Andrew Joblon … basically, she is our hero. But according to reports from Us Weekly, the lady has had her attention focused on one man solely these last few months, and the lucky guy happens to be Josh Hartnett. We totally did not see that coming. Probably because Josh has not been on our radar for what seems likes eons. Not that Josh is a slouch in the dating department either. He’s giving Amanda’s record a run for its money, as his list of exes include Julia Stiles, Rihanna, Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson, to name just a few. Amanda and Josh have reportedly been seeing each other on the down low since January, with a source revealing, “Josh likes to keep things low-key, so they’ve just been hanging out.” Match made in player heaven?

Considering how much time Kate Winslet has spent in front of Mario Testino‘s lens, it was only right that she was on hand to honor the legendary photographer at last night’s El Museo Del Barrio gala in New York. Not that she’s the only Kate he’s flattered. “The two other Kates, Kate Moss and Kate Middleton [Mario shot Prince William‘s engagement photos], were unavailable so you have to make do with me,” cracked Winslet before presenting his award. “His biggest strength without fail is making women look beautiful. So when Mario turns to you and says, ‘it’s beautiful, but I think it would work better naked, no?’ How can one refuse?” Um, can we just ask when has Kate ever refused the chance to work naked?
Also on hand to tip the hat to Testino were folks like Anna Wintour, Josh Hartnett, John Legend and Courtney Love, who somehow managed to stay clothed. See photos of from the bash in the gallery below.
It used to be chihuahuas, then Segways, then Birkin bags, but now, nerdy glasses are the hot celebrity accessory. Call it the an effect of hipster style mixed with equal parts Tina Fey lust and astigmatism. Josh Hartnett showed up to an event for The Kitchen’s Spring Gala last night and we noticed that he’s just one of many stars who are rocking the George McFly look (that’s a Back to the Future reference for all you born in the 90’s). Everyone from Joe Jonas to Jennifer Love Hewitt has been rocking the specs lately – check out our gallery of nerdy chic below.

Josh Hartnett and Abbie Cornish aren’t hiding their romance anymore. They went public at a private dinner at Macao Trading Co. on Church Street to help celebrate Channing Tatum’s 30th birthday. The bash was hosted by artist and Dactyl founder Neil Grayson. Fancy!
A witness reports, “They turned up after midnight . . . they definitely looked like a couple.” Other guests included Tatum’s wife, Jenna Dewan; Hayley Duff with her actor boyfriend, Nick Zano; and Tatum’s “Son of No One” co-stars James Ransone and Ray Liotta. We’ve just got one question: Ryan Phillipe who?
Forgive us, Anne Hathaway. We’re normally huge fans of your work and your style, but at the Breaking Upwards premiere last night, we feel like your limp hair and biker chick look missed the mark. Actually, everyone at the premiere dressed down (save for the film’s star, Zoe Lister-Jones, who looked like she was dressed for prom), including a very casual (bordering on un-showered) Josh Hartnett and Community star Gillian Jacobs. Check out all the stars and their thrown-together outfits in our gallery below. [Photos: Getty Images]
Mary-Kate Olsen is single and loving it. A representative confirmed today that the fashion freak has split from boyfriend Nate Lowman. No reason has been given for the break, though between pregnancy rumors, engagement rumors and talk of Olsen getting close to Bradley Cooper, we’re impressed it lasted even this long.
The gossip mill, not taking long to put Olsen back on the market, has already hooked her up with Josh Hartnett at a BAFTA afterparty. “They were making out in a dark corridor of the party,” a source told People, though Olsen’s rep denied the claim. This wouldn’t be the first time Hartnett’s suffered an unfounded rumor in England—Hartnett won a libel suit against The Mirror after they claimed to have a surveillance video of the 30 Days Of Night actor getting freaky with a fan in a hotel library. Maybe he can score some cash off this rumor, too.
