Kat Graham’s Diva Move: Two White See-Through Gowns In One Night – Which Is Your Fave?

We’ve made no secret of the fact that Vampire Diaries witch and pop star Kat Graham is one of our favorite triple threats on the scene. And though she was only at the VH1 DIVAS concert to present Metric, she pulled at least one diva move — changing her outfit between the purple carpet and the stage. She showed off her first gown, by Alpana Neeraj, to VH1′s guest correspondent Jackie Christie — and the two shared a cute moment over their side-swept hairstyles in the video above.

But we haven’t yet heard who designed the second one, which was sheer on the bottom instead of the top, showing off her gams the way the good witch Bonnie never gets to do.

Miley Cyrus, Brandy, Kat Graham & More: 10 Most Divalicious Looks On the VH1 DIVAS Carpet

Miley Cyrus, Kat Graham, Demi Lovato, Brandy among the 10 most divalicious on the VH1 Divas carpet.

Onstage at VH1 DIVAS tonight, the name of the game was the glitzier the better, as befits a dance-themed show. But before the likes of Miley Cyrus, Adam Lambert, Keri Hilson and more hit the stage in their best studded leather and sequins, they all had very different ideas of how to approach the purple carpet. It was just the kind of daring and diversity that makes these artists the perfect guests for a celebration of diva-tude. There was Demi Lovato looking rockabilly cute and Ciara doing old-Hollywood glam. Jordin Sparks and Bootsy Collins sparkled, while Brandy and Kat Graham donned edgy white and ivory.

Whatever their approach, none of these ladies and gentlemen was about to fade into the crowd.

Sexy, often scandalous, and forever sensational — throw in a thigh-high slit into your gown and you’re going to get completely eyeballed. The more daring the cut, the more looks it’s going to get, so you know that celebrities love this major red carpet trend. 2012 has been the year for thigh-baring gown slits as our stars went all out to show as much leg as possible. Most of your most beloved ladies and ours opted for the style, so we decided to pick the top 15 most incredible leggy gown moments and rank them. We’ll start with number 15 and work our way up to numero uno. Of course, all the photographs, numbered accordingly, are in the gallery below, so have a look and a read and tell us whether we got it right in the comments section.

15. Sophia Bush: The actress went all out and showed some slinky leg while wearing an orange David Meister Signature dress. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Christian Louboutin shoes, and a Daniel Swarovski clutch. If there’s any place to take the fashion plunge  — or cut — it was definitely at the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards after party at the Boom Boom Room in June in New York City.

14. Kristen Stewart: Kristen rocked it and rocked some leg in a gorgeous golden Elie Saab dress with Christian Louboutin shoes at the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Germany Premiere at CineStar in November, 2012 in Berlin.

13. Jada Pinkett Smith: Jada Pinkett Smith showed just how toned her legs are in a bright orange Atelier Versace gown and Jimmy Choos at the Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted premiere during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival in May.

12.  Carrie Underwood: Did we expect to see Ms. Carrie Underwood’s very shapely leg in her Abed Mahfouz couture chiffon gown at the 47th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards in Vegas in April, 2012? Not at all, which is what made it even more awesome.

11. Beyonce: Beyonce isn’t just all about being bootylicious. She’s pretty darn leggy as well, as was proved by her gorgeous Stephane Rolland gown at the 2012 BET Awards held in July in L.A. this year!

10. Miranda Kerr: This supermodel has legs for miles, which is what brough her to the number 10 spot on our list. And her bronzed Collette Dinnigan gown showed them off to perfection at the 2012 AACTA Awards in Sydney in July.

9.  Kat Graham: Kat Graham’s gams were a force to be reckoned with in her Maria Lucia Hohan gown at the MTV Movie Awards in L.A. Angeles, in June, 2012.

8. Kim Kardashian: Kim Kardashian klassed it up at the 2012 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS benefit during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival in May this year. But not too much, because her mustard Elie Saab gown had a daring double slit that showed off those legs!

7. Nicole Scherzinger: Why hello, Nicole’s leg. Please to meet you. The singer showed off her shapely stems in a Cengiz Abazoğlu dress with Giuseppe Zanotti heels at the U.K. premiere of Men in Black 3 at Odeon Leicester Square in May, 2012 in London.

6. Rihanna: Ri-Ri was all about the leg in her minimal Giorgio Armani custom gown at the Stella McCartney Special Presentation in London in February this year.

If the rumors are true, Kat Graham is having the best year ever. E! Online reports that Cottrell Guidry, boyfriend of the Vampire Diaries witch/infectious pop star, posted and then deleted their engagement announcement on Facebook. He also recently posted an Instagram of his feet and dog with the caption #WaitingforWifey, which some are taking as a confirmation.

Happy Birthday, Kat Graham! Celebrate With Her 20 Wildest Looks From 2012

Hard to believe, but the multi-talented actress, singer and linguist Kat Graham has only just turned 21 today! We would be inclined to believe the Vampire Diaries star used some real-life witchcraft to accomplish so much at her age, but anyone who follows her on Twitter can tell the girl works nonstop. We hope she’s taking a moment to kick back and enjoy her birthday for a minute, in-between singing catchy new pop tunes and somehow working out whether Elena can avoid becoming a vampire and still live.

What with her power constantly being a pawn in the vampires’ awful battles, it hasn’t been such a fun year for poor Bonnie, has it? We’re glad it’s been one for the “Put Your Graffiti on Me” singer, though. Just check out her neon-splattered, ’90s pop-art inspired wardrobe in the gallery below and you’ll see what we mean. Teen Choice Awards Best-Dressed: Zoe Saldana, Demi Lovato, Kristen Stewart Take Risks That Pay Off

Now, to soften the blow of listing some of our faves among the worst-dressed at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, we present to you our best-dressed list — which, thankfully, contains a couple of people who were also on the previous list: Demi Lovato and Jordin Sparks. It also has 10 more names than the worst, because overall, it was a night in which we wanted to see risks being taken, and they often paid off on the pink carpet — even if they wouldn’t have anywhere else. TV stars such as Lucy Hale, Candice Accola, Shay Mitchell and Ashley Rickards were stunning in super-bright colors. Others, like Zoe Saldana and Lea Michele, won with adorable cuts. And then, of course, Kristen Stewart was in a category all her own, in a decidedly unsummery leather-pants-and-blazer combo. (Oh, and by the way, we totally recognize why some are criticizing Demi for showing a whole lot of side-boob in her yellow showgirly dress — but since that showed up in arrival photos but never on our TV screens, we think everyone should just simma.)

Kat Graham, Emma Watson Kick Off MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet With Flirty, Vampy Style

The 2012 MTV Movie Awards kicked off, quite appropriately, with an influx of vampires, witches, wizards and werewolves. We love how Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham, who was MTV’s style correspondent for the evening, seemed to be channeling old-school cult fave Elvira with her black gown — the deep-cut neckline and shoulder pads seemed more suited to a vampire than Bonnie the witch, and that slit invited her to strike an Angelina Jolie pose or two, which seemed like just the right tone for the night.

Also having fun with her outfit tonight is Emma Watson who posed in a short, swirly-patterned gray-purple-and-black dress by Tabitha Simmons before presenting the trailer for her upcoming Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Twilight star Nikki Reed was another early arrival, in a shimmery gold number, followed by the werewolf pack’s very own Julia Jones in an, em, eye-catching lime-green cut-out dress. Early contenders for silliest outfit of the show: the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, whose footy pajamas make us very curious about their set. CW Upfronts Celebrate Hot Hollywood With The Casts Of 90210, Supernatural And The Vampire Diaries

It shouldn’t be so surprising that the red carpet for the CW’s upfront presentation yesterday in New York City earns our highest praise, even after seeing the stars attend the events for Fox, CBS and NBC. After all, two of our favorite shows were heavily repp’d. We mean The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. The former had a lot of the series’ stars showing up, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen, Paul Wesley, Katerina Graham, Nina Dobrev, Candice Accola, Michael Trevino and Zach Roerig included. Nina looked terrific in a very tight, satin cream Dolce & Gabbana dress, while boyfriend Ian rocked a Rogue T-shirt and leather jacket with jeans. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles both suited up for the Supernatural stakes, but next time, shave, guys!

A few ladies from 90210 were also spotted — Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup and Jessica Lowndes. These were by no means the only shows that the CW presented. Rachel Bilson was there, pretty in Chanel, for Hart of Dixie, along with co-star Jaime King who looked tropical in a skirt and bandeau top by Proenza Schouler. AnnaSophia Robb was there scoring for The Carrie Diairies in a vintage-looking alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet dress with YSL heels. Have a look at our gallery to see who else was there! Josh Hutcherson, Chaz Bono, Kat Graham Celebrate Equality In Style At GLAAD Media Awards

The 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards went down on Saturday night at at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in L.A. Lovely ladies like Kat Graham, Ali Larter and Milla Jovovich attended. Larter looked tiny in a ruched red Zac Posen dress while Jovovich was draped in vintage Halston. Kat nailed it in a strapless black gown by Indian designer duo Alpana Neeraj. Grand dames like Betty White made an appearance too. She walked the red carpet with Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves — her co-stars on Hot in Cleveland.

Cher and Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Chaz Bono for making a significant difference in promoting equality. We also love that Josh Hutcherson got the Vanguard Award for the LGBT ally organization he co-founded called Straight But Not Narrow. The award was presented to him by Benicio del Toro, no less. Vampire Diaries Star Candice Accola Makes Us Long For A ’90s Flashback Ep

We’ve all been digging Kat Graham’s sexy, girl-power anthem “Put Your Graffiti on Me” lately, and we couldn’t help but picture what would happen if the song were blasting at one of those lavish Mystic Falls events on The Vampire Diaries. How much would you love seeing an Original booty popping? Well, that actually happened. Off-camera, unfortunately.

“We got a sneak peek of the video ahead of time, so Claire Holt [Rebekah] and myself definitely spent the remainder of the day going ‘tag me’ and making the little cowbell [sound],” Candice Accola, a.k.a. “Vampire Barbie” Caroline Forbes, told us on the red carpet of the Elle Women in Music Awards. Accola is a singer too, but lately she’s been showing off her skills to a more intimate audience.

“I’m in a ’90s cover band with a bunch of the crew members, and we played our wrap party,” she said. We’re not sure what they played, but she did say that to prepare she downloaded Kriss Kross’ “Jump,” Naughty by Nature’s “O.P.P.” and Weezer’s “El Scorcho.”
