Jimmy Fallon continues to kill the late-night game by making every ’90s child’s life complete. Only our favorite host has the power to bring our Saved By the Bell teen crushes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, and Elizabeth Berkley back to the halls of Bayside High. Oh, and Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins) too, obviously.
Mario Lopez confesses to hooking up with a major pop star, Shonda Rhimes speaks about people hating on her shows, Royal Baby no. 2 has an official due date, and more First Dibs.
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed spend the big bucks to channel Fifty Shades of Grey, magazines aren’t buying photos from Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross‘ wedding, Billy Miller joins the cast of General Hospital, and more in today’s Last Lap.
Who’s just come forth as a huge Breaking Bad fan? Arrested Development devotees get even more hope that the Bluths will return, and Elijah Wood gets deep into the mind of a serial killer.
Did Mario Lopez become a dad again? Which famous comedian did Sharon Osbourne hook up with before Ozzy? Would James Franco do a Spring Breakers sequel?
We don’t blame a guy for putting his unbelievably hot body to good use by modelling underwear. And yet, we were about to join in on the Internet chorus of “this is cute but kinda creepy!” when we saw the above photo Courtney Mazza Lopez tweeted last week of husband Mario Lopez decorating his Christmas tree in a pair of tight-fitting briefs, as their 2-year-old daughter Gia looked on.
“My husband looks hot rockin his @RatedMOfficial with his little elf….#lovethem,” she wrote.
But then we looked a little more closely at Courtney’s tweet, and how it specifically calls out @RatedMOfficial. And wouldn’t you know, both Courtney and Mario are actually the underwear brand’s models in a new campaign, appearing hand in hand in giant billboards and on the company’s website.
If there are two people who’s names are synonymous with the struggle for vocal mastery and the pursuit of musical achievement, it would most certainly be Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez. Good thing they’re joining The X Factor as the show’s new co-hosts! We’re just joking, of course. We all know being a reality show host requires only enthusiasm, witty banter and extensive tooth whitening. It’s not like Cat Deeley has ever had to jitterbug a step in her life, and we’re 83% sure Joe Rogan as ever eaten a live cockroach.
According to TMZ, Khloe and Mario are currently finalizing their deals with the show, and are slated to debut on the small screen in November. While we approve of anything that sets Khloe apart from her family members and reminds America that she is the relatable one, we’re inclined to tell Mario to up his game now. He’s sweet and all, but Khloe has so much sass and so many inches on him, we’re afraid Mario will seem like just another pretty, preternaturally smooth face by comparison. Remember how the first season of American Idol had two hosts: Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman? Where’s Brian Dunkleman now, Lopez? Where is Brian Dunkleman now?

We all get by with a little help from our friends, but celebs even more so. After all, Hollywood is a tough biz, and the only way to survive the ups and downs of Tinseltown is by surrounding yourself with a few true pals who will stick by your side in good times as well as during the bumps and slumps. We’ve long loved the enduring bond Oprah Winfrey and her BFF Gayle King share, and got teary-eyed this awards season watching Busy Phillips escort her nominated pal Michelle Williams to every event in town. And who can resist dudes like Tom Sturridge and Robert Pattinson and Jay-Z and Kanye West, who are always on hand to support each other’s personal and professional triumphs?
And then there are gals like Snooki and J-Woww, who have stuck by each other from day one in the Jersey Shore house. Through booze, bitch slaps, anonymous note-leaving, Vinny sex and drunken fights on the streets of Italy, they’ve never left each other’s side. The girls have a new reality show premiering tonight on MTV chronicling — what else? — the ups and downs of their friendship. In honor of their unbreakable bond, we’ve got 35 of the Most Adorable Celebrity Besties in the gallery below. Have a fave pair? Shout ‘em out in the comments.
There’s nothin’ like a dude in a well-cut suit. Scratch that — there’s nothing like a dude in a well-cut anything. Which is why we love this selection of looks that these 10 male celebrities wore to the MTV Movie Awards. A lot of styles were represented. We had classic with Chris Hemsworth in a waistcoat and shirt. That man is so incredibly handsome. Andrew Garfield wore a tie and skinny pants, while Mario Lopez put on a blazer and V-neck. We had the bad boy in Diego Boneta who looked sexy as hell in leather jacket, and hipster, with Josh Hutcherson in a pork pie hat and sneakers. Andy Samberg toed the line between formal and casual, with a blazer teamed with kicks and a casual T-shirt. Perhaps the most eye-catching look of all came courtesy Joe Manganiello who wore a stripper-friendly fireman’s outfit on stage. Hello, abs! Take a look at the gallery below for all the hotness.
Grab your stereotypical sombrero everybody, it’s Cinco de Mayo! In the American tradition of commercializing obscure holidays that have very little to do with their actual countries of origin, today’s festivities must include a street dance with a mariachi band, many tequila shots and some probably inauthentic Mexican food. How else to commemorate a minor victory over French invaders? Well, we’d also like to celebrate some of the other things our neighbors south of the border have given to the world, say for instance, a number of Hollywood’s hottest. Talented stars like Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, and Mario Lopez are just a few of our favorite Mexican stars. While not all listed celebs are full-blood Mexican — and some on this list may surprise you — we like to think they all have a healthy dose of Latino pride. Take a break from your margarita blender and toast our 20 favorite celebs with Mexican roots. Happy Cinco de Mayo!
