PETA has always had a love-hate relationships with celebrities. Some star studs like Justin Bieber have won the hearts of animal lovers by gracing PETA ads. Some celebs have even stripped down to step up for the cause of animal rights. However, there’s always those celebrities who blaze their own fur trail and send PETA in a hot rage like Kim Kardashian most recently did.
On the good side of the controversial organization are Pamela Anderson and Bob Harper, who recently teamed up with PETA to launch limited-edition U.S. postage stamps featuring famous vegetarians. From Gandhi to Ellen DeGeneres, now your bills and birthday cards can all feature Hollywood’s top 20 herbivores. But without even buying any stamps (snail mail, what’s that?), you can peruse our eye-popping, yet informative list of celebs who made PETA’s It list and hit list, along with the famous offenders who’ve since changed their ways.

So, we’re a little bit obsessed with Halloween here at VH1 headquarters. (One glance at Best Week Ever should prove that much.) And since I finished my costume a week early this year, I have extra time to enjoy how much every other TV network in the country is also obsessed with the holiday. From vampires and witches to fairy tales and murderers, it’s as good a time to stay indoors as it is to go bobbing for apples — that’s what the kids do these days, right?
Monday: Martha Stewart’s Haunted House
8 p.m. Hallmark
Martha doesn’t do anything halfway, but Halloween has always been an excuse for her to go extra craft-crazy. Tonight, she’s teaching you how to create a haunted house and has Justin Long, one of the least-scary actors on the planet, do something to spook small children. My glue gun is ready!
Tuesday: Zombies: A Living History
8 p.m., History Channel
Lots of historical experts scare the sh– out of me with their talk of how the zombie virus could actually come to be, while actors moan and shuffle in the background. Watch the trailer here and you’ll see why I may stay indoors forever.
Wednesday: American Horror Story
10 p.m., FX
As anyone who’s ever watched anything before knows, Halloween is the night when the barrier between the living and the dead is thinnest. That’s got to make living in a haunted house extra fun! What’s even more fun/super creepy? Having Zachary Quinto as your interior decorator.
There are certain rules every pet owner must follow if they want to avoid having their pooch accidentally mangle their face, or at least that’s what we infer from news that Martha Stewart’s dog Francesca ripped her lip open. Rule #1: Never baby-talk your French bulldog as she blissfully sails through Dreamland. “As I leaned down to whisper goodbye to a dozing Francesca, I must have startled her, because she bolted upright with such force that she hit me in the face like a boxing glove hitting an opponent’s face,” Martha explained. “I was entirely startled and my neck snapped back. I felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from my split lip.” Sometimes when you say sweet nothings into your pup’s ear, it suddenly turns into The Fighter, except less Christian Bale and slightly more slobber. Every dog owner has to be prepared for it.
Not only did Stewart describe the incident in gory detail, but she proceeded to post 34 photos of her nine stiches up on her blog. Having just returned from Florida where she was promoting her green housing project, Martha was able to dash back to New York only slightly worse for wear. Meanwhile, Francesca lies in wait for her next opportunity…

There are, of course, two certainties in life: death and taxes. And one if not both, is absolutely coming tomorrow, April 15th! No matter who you are, Uncle Sam will get you! Even A-list celebrities must pay up, although some seem to have thought they were above the law when they attempted a fancy shmancy loophole, but were of course busted. Check out our gallery of celebrity tax evaders! [Photos: Splash News Online]

I think that’s a great way to remember someone.”
