How did we come up with this list of 30 best dressed stars for 2011? Many hours of poring through pictures of premieres, award shows, concerts, events … you name it, we saw it. We also think it’s a pretty diverse list covering our favorites and yours. Will you vote for bombshells like Jennifer Lopez or Sofia Vergara, whose Modern Family co-star, Sarah Hyland, has also made it onto the polls. Or for gamine pixies like Zooey Deschanel, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan? If you prefer the ingenues, then Chloe Moretz, Hailee Steinfeld and Jennifer Lawrence are on the list as well. The best clotheshorses in H’town are included and they’re the type who look perfectly at home (translation: drop dead gorgeous) in designer wear. We’re talking about women like  Anne Hathaway, Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Amber Heard, Mila Kunis and Blake Lively. The latter’s new boyfriend’s ex, Scarlett Johansson is up for the win, making this an interesting face-off!
You should have a heads up that there are a couple of duos in there, and we’re sorry in advance for making you choose between them. We have the two Emmas — Emma Watson and Emma Stone. There are the Twilight hotties — Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene. The television cuties — Lea Michele and Nina Dobrev. The yummy mummies (one is currently pregnant and one gave birth earlier this year) — Beyonce and Jessica Alba. And of course, the sunshine blondes — Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon. We know, it’s really hard! What’s even harder is choosing between the trio of besties — Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift. And finally, rounding up the list, standing tall and very royal is the newly minted Duchess, who hasn’t made a sartorial step wrong all year, Kate Middleton.
So, there you have it. A very fashionable 30. What we need you to do, now, is click after the jump and check out our massive gallery and vote in the poll we’ve got below it. We’ve even got 3-in-1 pictures so you have more outfits to look at! Vote, vote, vote! Read more…
Earlier this month, we posted the Vogue cover that had Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe. She’s going to be starring in the upcoming biopic My Week With Marilyn that’s all about the filming of Monroe’s 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl. Ever since that cover, we’ve been itching to see more photographs. Michelle Williams is the consummate actress, but pulling off Marilyn is something we feel even the best would find hard to handle. This new shot of Michelle as Marilyn in the water is breathtaking though, putting any tiny doubts we had to rest. What do you think? We know many of you are diehard Monroe fans so let us know what your thoughts are through the poll below!

Before the stars were stars, they were normal people trying to make a living. Every penny they made was spent on rent and food, not stylists and clothing. That’s why it’s so awesome to see celebrity before-and-after shots: getting a glimpse of what J.Lo looked like with crazy eyebrows or when Alec Baldwin was just a sliver of his current self. We wanted to honor some of our finest actors and performers by going back in time—back to when no one could bother to get their clothes tailored, they were too cheap to use anything but boxed hair color, and the word “stylist” didn’t even exist in Hollywood. Some of these people are a victim of the era from whence they came, but others have no excuse. The important thing to remember: these people had a choice about how to dress, and these are the outfits they chose. The awkward, tragic outfits they chose.

Have you taken the time to cast your vote in TheFABLife’s 2010 Bikini Awards yet? If so, you should stop what your doing and pat yourself on the back for being an upstanding member of our celebrity gossip society. And if you haven’t, well, there’s still time to make sure your voice is heard!
Sadly, you won’t be able to vote for either Sarah Silverman or Michelle Williams in the contest. By appearing in one-piece swimsuits while on the set of director Sarah Polley’s Take This Waltz in Toronto, they violated one of the chief bylaws of the 2010 Bikini Awards; namely, that all participants must either be wearing A) Bikinis or B) Mankinis. Better luck next year, ladies!

In our opinion, Michelle Williams can do no wrong. She is our Brooklyn homegirl with a flawless sense of style, and we are swooning over her Cannes appearance for her upcoming film Blue Valentine. Williams and her newly bleached blond crop looked amazing (she and Carey Mulligan might have to duke it out in the battle for most chic pixie hipster), and her red carpet poses with Ryan Gosling, who plays her husband in the film, are killing us. Can they please be the new indie couple that we swoon over? And look at them with their on-screen daughter Faith Wladyka. Most adorable fake family ever.

Michelle Williams made a coffee run with daughter Matilda in rainy NYC today, looking far too fashionable for stormy weather. The darling duo jumped puddles in cute coats, opaque tights, and trendy rainboots. See more of cuter-by-the-day Matilda below. [Photo: Splash News Online]
With half the country under a fresh coat of snow, some of us are suffering from the spring-craving blues. Nothing like a little Matilda Ledger to jump-start your afternoon! Check out today’s pics of her bounding around Brooklyn with mom Michelle Williams.
