The Best Man Holiday is finally in theaters! And by all accounts the sequel, nearly 15 years in the making, is expected to do well at the box office, especially with an ensemble cast that has collectively generated millions of box office dollars and fan power over the years. But since their star turns in 1999, some of the actors have generated more than others, let’s be honest.
The Best Man Holiday (out Friday) marks the return of a dynamic ensemble, nearly 15 years after we first met them. Much like our obsession with real-life celebrity cliques, we watch movies largely to live vicariously through groups of fictional pals and their interesting antics. And a wedding party full of secrets is no exception.
One of the keys to a good ensemble comedy is having a star to appeal to every taste — in this respect, we think The Best Man and The Best Man Holiday have succeeded quite well. The 10 leads from the sequel, in theaters on Friday, run the gamut from Morris Chestnut, for those who like manly football-player types, to Eddie Cibrian, for those who melt for a good dimple. The ladies range from seductive Melissa De Sousa to sweet Sanaa Lathan. Who is your favorite from among these beautiful people?
Love & Hip Hop’s Yandy Smith recently got “all up in the business” of the Best Man Holiday cast, as they gave updates about where the characters are picking up 15 years after the 1999 hit movie The Best Man left off. Who better to get everyone caught up on where Harper, Jordan, Lance, Julian, Robin, Mia, Candy and the rest of the gang are now, than someone just as used to on-screen drama?
Penelope Cruz is just the latest (and, some might argue, greatest) celebrity to strip off her couture in support of PETA‘s anti-fur cause. Cruz’s new PETA ad only offers a glimpse of bare shoulder (unlike, say, Pamela Anderson‘s cuts of meat bikini pose), but hopefully that small sliver of skin will give a big boost to the organization’s efforts once it debuts on a billboard near Penn Station in NYC today. “Penelope has appeared on every ‘best-dressed’ list in the world, and the one thing you’ll never see her wearing is fur,” PETA’s Senior VP Lisa Lange explained to US Weekly.
Check out some similarly topless PETA ads from the likes of Eva Mendes, Nia Long and Khloe Kardashian, as well as some fur-clad celeb offenders like Kim Kardashian, whom PETA has accused of being less than friendly toward all the little birdies and the little monkeys.

PETA has always had a love-hate relationships with celebrities. Some star studs like Justin Bieber have won the hearts of animal lovers by gracing PETA ads. Some celebs have even stripped down to step up for the cause of animal rights. However, there’s always those celebrities who blaze their own fur trail and send PETA in a hot rage like Kim Kardashian most recently did.
On the good side of the controversial organization are Pamela Anderson and Bob Harper, who recently teamed up with PETA to launch limited-edition U.S. postage stamps featuring famous vegetarians. From Gandhi to Ellen DeGeneres, now your bills and birthday cards can all feature Hollywood’s top 20 herbivores. But without even buying any stamps (snail mail, what’s that?), you can peruse our eye-popping, yet informative list of celebs who made PETA’s It list and hit list, along with the famous offenders who’ve since changed their ways.

Strong winds weren’t going to keep Hollywood celebs from paying tribute to Michael Jackson at the LA premiere of This Is It last night. Everyone from Will Smith to Ian Ziering made the scene, with Paris Hilton stealing the “Look At Me!” Award from Jermaine “Sgt. Pepper” Jackson with her giant gold safety pins. While pals Katy Perry and Adam Lambert seemed to be having a great time, Jennifer Lopez‘s hair problems were compounded by a frightening run-in with a clingy fan inside. Don’t grab her arm like that if you want a photo, people! A polite tap will do.
