David Hasselhoff’s Ex Charged With DUI, Wants Him To Stop Drinking

David Hasselhoff

Pamela Bach, officially charged with DUI this morning, wants to talk to you about alcohol abuse. Not hers, though—her ex-husband’s. The model has issued a press release begging anyone withinear shot of David Hasselhoff to help the America’s Got Talent judge face his drinking issues, which have reportedly landed him in the hospital multiple times this year.

The despair—feeling hopeless and unable to believe that things can ever change with David’s alcoholism over the years—has affected our whole family. We want our lives to be different, but nothing we have done has brought about change. We ask David’s fans, supporters and handlers to take swift action to save this wonderful man’s life. I have always been close to my daughters to comfort and support them as well always being there for David. We will be forever hurt from this cruel disease. I am grateful for our two daughters, who have been incredibly brave, strong and protective souls.

Ironically, it’s Bach—not the Hoff—that faces mandatory jail time if found guilty of her second drunk driving charge this year. Bach was arrested for the crime over Thanskgiving weekend, ironically (there’s that word again) after spending the afternoon consoling her daughters over Hasselhoff’s latest hospital stay. TMZ’s police source claims the concerned mother was “hammered” at the scene, with a BAC of .13. You’d think she’d at least acknowledge this.

Pamela Bach Arrested For DUI (Again) After David Hasselhoff Goes To Hospital (Again)

Pamela Bach, ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, was arrested in LA for drunk driving Saturday, according to TMZ. Coincidentally (or not), her America’s Got Talent ex was taken to the hospital Friday—Radar Online says it was for psychiatric evaluation, but the Hoff’s lawyers won’t confirm.  While Bach says she was consoling her daughters during the day, she admits to having more than a couple drinks at dinner after leaving them (“I am going through a really difficult time between David being in the hospital and dealing with the divorce”). This is Bach’s second DUI arrest this year, and if charged, jail time is mandatory. Hasselhoff was released from the hospital Sunday, with his lawyer saying the actor is “fine.” Hasselhoff has required emergency medical attention for his alcohol issues several times this year.

Pamela Bach, Hasselhoff’s Ex, Charged With DUI

This might be worse than eating a burger off the floor. Pamela Bach, ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, was arrested for felony DUI after causing a car crash last night. Hasselhoff won custody of their daughters in 2007, following an intense court battle. Ironically, it was the America’s Got Talent judge who posted her $100,00 bail today. The pair were married from 1989 to 2006.
