So this celebrity just tweeted this photographer of his — or her, we’re not giving it away that easily — grandmother. Is there a resemblance between grandparent and their celebrity grandchild? We think so, yes. More specifically in the hair department. If you want another hint, look at the lettering on the car. Got it yet? Read more…
We here at VH1 Celebrity pride ourselves on the fact that we are equal opportunity oglers. Of course, the paparazzi aren’t as egalitarian, so when we went about putting together today’s Bikini Awards contest, the Mankinis (sorry, but we promise no Speedos), we had a much more limited selection. Photographers were on hand to capture the likes of Joe Manganiello, Channing Tatum, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles and Shemar Moore, but they really didn’t present the sheer quantity of angles and attention to detail as they did for, say, Adriana Lima. But through our hard work and perseverance, we made sure to bring you the best of the man flesh on display, including three meaty servings from the Jersey Shore, the always shapely form of Mark Wahlberg, the unwaxed masterpiece that is Hugh Jackman, One Direction’s delicious Liam and Louis, and the deceptively sweet-faced James Marsden and Patrick Schwarzenegger. Ogle away, and then vote for your favorite. Polls close July 15 at 11 p.m. ET!

We always suspected Pauly D was doing alright for himself, what with the 50 Cent and Britney Spears collabos. And that’s not even considering the monies he made beating up the beat for his spin-off The Pauly D Project. In case you were wondering exactly how much the Jersey Shore star is pulling in, however, a new lawsuit brought by his former management company claims it is, to put it bluntly, a buttload. According to the complaint filed by ICM, the talent agency allegedly helped Pauly wrangle $100,000 an episode for Season Four, in addition to a “$200,000 ‘thank you’ bonus.” For Season 5, he earned $150,000 per episode and a $400,000 signing bonus. Hey, remember when Pauly and Vinny spent an entire episode moving patio furniture into the living room as a practical joke? Yeah, we need to go lie down for a minute before we finish this post.
As the result of the deals it finagled for him, ICM claims Pauly owes them $370,000 for the dough he’s already raked in, as well as “a minimum of $210,000” from the next season.“We are surprised by ICM’s contention that it is due commissions after ICM was terminated in favor of William Morris Endeavor,” the reality star’s lawyer Hilary Hughes said in a statement today. “ICM was paid for its services.” If not, it ain’t no thing: Pauly D is allegedly signed on for Season 6…at $175,000 an episode. So why would the cast ever leave this show? With salaries like this, we expect to see Snooki‘s baby graduate from med school on TV. On a related note, do they have a med school in the back of that t-shirt shop?

Get More: MTV Shows
We’ve been so caught up with the Jersey Shore spin-off starring JWoww and Snooki (and Snooki’s baby)(allegedly) currently in production, we forgot all about Pauly D‘s spin-off, which premieres on MTV on March 29. Luckily, the aptly-named The Pauly D Project didn’t forget about us, dropping a super trailer today to get everybody psyched up and pumping those fists. The cabs are most definitely here.
Since the show seems to feature Pauly’s jet-setting exploits in Las Vegas, as well as his stint DJing for Britney Spears and partnering with 50 Cent, we were sort of afraid that the new show wouldn’t be, well, Jersey enough for our liking. Oh, how wrong we were. While there’s no t-shirt shop or makeup-smeared rabbit suits so far, there does appear to be massive amounts of booze, semi-nudity (all male) and at least one stunt featuring a wheelchair. It’s not a duck phone, but it’ll do. Plus, maybe it’ll be nice to get away from The Situation for a little while; you guys know what we mean. Oh, also the Pauly D cast includes a grown man named Biggie who sobs on camera over the stress of being in Pauly’s entourage. Yeah. Buddy.
First he was DJing for Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour, now a Pauly D and 50 Cent album is on the way. Man, seeing a Jersey Shore cast member go legit is going to make Ronnie‘s Xenadrine commercials even more heart-breaking to watch. “I’m focusing on music. That’s my passion. I’m working with 50 Cent now,” DJ Pauly told Billboard after the VMAs. “I’m gonna do an album with him.” This collabo makes a lot of sense to us; we bet Fiddy’s been down the Jersey Turnpike more times than the NJTA.
Pauly discussed his upcoming album with 50 Cent earlier this month in XXL Magazine, confirming that duo will soon be helping America celebrate each day as if it was our nation’s birthday. “It’s going to be a little bit of everything,” Pauly says. “It’s almost like DJ Khaled and kind of David Guetta but my own DJ Pauly D style.” The only downside, of course, is how many arms will spontaneously snap due to too much fist-pumping.
DJ Pauly D recently joined Britney Spears’ epic Femme Fatale tour as Brit’s opening act. He’ll take to the stage and work those turn tables later this month, but in the meantime the Jersey Shore star is busy prepping for his new gig. Pauly made his way to Montreal last night and watched Ms. Spears rock the stage. Just when we thought Pauly D’s life couldn’t possibly get better, Brit’s dancers pull him onstage and the pop star proceeds to give him a lap dance. Pauly D later took to twitter and excitedly wrote:
Wow Just Got A Lap Dance On Stage From @britneySpears !!!!!!
We’re anxious to see whether or not this will merely be a once in a lifetime experience or if Brit his more in store for this DJ.
After filming two seasons straight, at least one member of Jersey Shore is going to come staggering out of the beach house with a job lined up. Pauly D’s Britney Spears tour gig has him opening for the singer during six dates this fall. “I am so excited to be performing on the Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour,” Pauly said in a statement. “Britney is one of my favorite performers and certainly one of this generation’s most influential artists. It’s an amazing platform to connect with my fans around the country.” It’s probably also nice not to be trapped with seven other people in a home filled with simmering rage and the smell of old gym bags, though yes, Britney is seriously amazing.
Pauly’s first show will be August 17 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where hopefully he won’t panic at the thought of seeing thousands of people he doesn’t spent 24 hours a day with. As for playing Spears’ songs prior to her performance, Pauly scoffs “A DJ should not play the artist’s songs at her concert ’cause she has to perform these songs. I’m not going to be playing any Britney before she performs; maybe after. I’ll let her perform, let her shine ’cause it’s her night.” Hmmm, no Britney and no computer for the past nine months…let’s hope “We No Speak Americano” has enough remixes to make this work.
Vinnie & Pauly D sit for a caricature artist on the streets of Florence, Italy. Rumors of a brutal fight between The Situation & Ronnie popped up from the Jersey Shore set yesterday, though MTV has only confirmed that the Sitch needed medical attention after an “accidental injury in the house.”

Take a moment to make a soft nest out of your student loan late notices, because you are going to hit the floor like a ton of financial insolvent bricks when you read about the new Jersey Shore cast salaries. For their fourth round of GTL, the gang will be pulling in “at least” $100,000 per episode each, even newbie Deena Nicole Cortese. EVEN DEENA. Take 100 grand, multiple it by the 13 episodes or so in a season, and you come up with a cool milli. Oh, sorry, we should have waited until everyone was done with their taxes before posting this. You aren’t going to be able to finish filing with TurboTax with your fist jammed through the middle of the computer screen like that.
Snooki, J-Woww, The Situation and Pauly D allegedly held out until MTV agreed to pay the big bucks, undoubtedly because they are the only cast members who the audience actually cares about. As a result, the amount everyone will earn per episode in Season 4 is ten times what they earned the first season. Of course, their salary doesn’t include the other hundreds of thousands they make per year through book deals, Jersey Shore spin-offs and Wrestlemania gigs. Before you rip your Masters in Social Work certificate in half, just remember: at the end of the day, they still have to be the cast of Jersey Shore. The fact that you don’t is worth more than your weight in gold (which is ironically exactly how much Snooki will be making).
