Stephanie Seymour To Get $270k A Month Until Divorce

stephanie seymour

The bad news? Due to Stephanie Seymour‘s reckless spending, the supermodel will receive only about a sixth of husband Peter Brant‘s net income each month while awaiting the outcome of their divorce. The good news? That still adds up to $270,000 a month. With that kind of stipend, we’d never want the litigation to end!

Court papers embellish Brant’s earlier accusation that she spends over $50,000 a month on clothes. “[Brant] said he did not understand why she was paying retail at Bergdorf’s when she could get clothes, at a discounted price, from the atelier in Paris of their friend, the designer Azzedine Alaia, who Mr. Brant considers to be the best couture designer of the 20th century.” Mo’ money, mo’ problems! Doesn’t your heart just bleed for these people?

Stephanie Seymour Spends $50k A Month On Clothes, Says Ex

Stephanie Seymour‘s ugly divorce from mega-millionaire polo-player Peter Brant isn’t getting any prettier. In new filings found by Page Six, Brant accuses Seymour of spending over $250,000 a month, with $5ok of that blown on clothes alone. Hopefully, she donates some of those stylish black girdles to charity when she’s done with them.

But it’s not the missing twigs from the polo player’s $489 million money tree that are really pissing him off. Seymour is allegedly stealing from his extensive art collection, even cutting a hole in his fence to make thieving easier. “In the past the plaintiff destroyed a valuable piece of art in anger, and recently destroyed the defendant’s Kentucky trophy.” Did it not fit through the hole? Seymour’s side has yet to comment, though we expect something juicy when they do.

Stephanie Seymour’s Divorce War: “He’s Playing Very Dirty”

stephanie seymour & peter brant

Stephanie Seymour may want to keep things “amicable,” but the model’s split from billionaire publisher Peter Brant, her husband of 16 years, should be a knock-down drag-out war. The New York Post reports that since she filed for divorce two months ago, he’s locked her out of the house and threatened to deny her custody of their three children (aged 15, 12 and 4), claiming she’s an unfit mother. Said a friend, “she’s a big girl and she can take care of herself, but when it comes to her kids, I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

“I’m sleeping in the maid’s quarters,” Seymour allegedly told their source. “I want to be the bigger person. But it’s tough. He’s playing very dirty with me.”

Brant was married with five children when he began dating Seymour in 1993, shortly after her split from Axl Rose. The pair married after his divorce in 1995—with eldest Peter Jr. already a year old.
