One of the perks about being a part of the Royal Family is that you get to play dress up a lot of the time. They always have some parade this, some function that, and their wardrobes — and their headgear — have to keep up. A particular English quirk also happens to be the ever present fascinator. The Royal Wedding was a fine example of this fad.
The latest hat-off just happened Prince William and his new bride, Duchess Catherine Middleton at yesterday’s Order of the Garter service. The Queen, Prince William and other members of the Royal Family took part in the annual parade wearing plush blue velvet robes and spectacular (we say this while giggling) black velvet hats with white plumes. But does William pull it off? We think so! His wife, Catherine, wore a stunning Philip Treacy headpiece that complemented her grey dress and coat quite nicely. But who looks better? Can’t make up your mind about who wins this round? Look at our gallery for separate pictures of the two and then go ahead and vote!
