The LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala Honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick presented by Gucci turned out to be a pretty well-attended, fashion-savvy event this weekend. Teeming with A-listers, since Gucci was headlined, most of the ladies wore the brand. We do have Robert Pattinson in our gallery as well, because he’s Robert Pattinson, and he looked devastating in his sharp Gucci suit. Also wearing Gucci was Amy Adams, who glided in a yellow Spring 2013 strapless column with a train and Amber Valletta who was dramatic in a deep green, ruffled, halter-necked gown. Florence Welch (who also performed at the event) looked stunning wearing deep purple Gucci with a gold Grecian headband that worked like a dream with her red hair and pale skin. Bella Heathcote wore a white frock with paillettes and an embellished neckline, which was similar to Amber Heard‘s only the latter’s was in black and gold. There was even more Gucci thanks to Minka Kelly‘s stark black number, Evan Rachel Wood‘s sexy gold dress and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s leggy, backless emerald gown. Ginnifer Goodwin wore a risque dress from the Fall 2012 collection that featured a bold feathered green skirt and black, sheer panelled blouson. Cameron Diaz‘s body was to die for in a bright yellow mini-dress, while her gal pal Jennifer Aniston brought the va-va-voom in a plunging gown by Tom Ford. Breaking out of the brand was another Jennifer, Jennifer Morrison, who chose a slashed black Reem Acra jumpsuit. Some of the looks worked — Evan, Amy, Amber and then some — and some, we’re not quite sure of, like Cameron and Jennifer M’s. But at least this was a red carpet that had interesting, envelope pushing looks. Check out our gallery to see all the rest.

Our feelings about these photos of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart leaving a Prince concert last night are mixed, to say the least. Maybe we’ll just talk it through here, any you can help us.
Happy! Another sighting of Rob and Kristen hanging out together is a good thing! And this reminds us of that one time, back in the day, when they were snapped getting cozy at a Kings of Leon concert.
Annoyed/protective! They really, really didn’t want to be photographed.
Remember when all we could talk about for Breaking Dawn – Part 1 was that headboard-cracking wedding night? Much to our relief, the honeymoon isn’t over for Edward and Bella in Part 2, even though Stephenie Meyer let the vamps have their privacy in the book. Speaking to Australian radio’s Kyle and Jackie O Show, Robert Pattinson said this new sex scene was one of the most challenging to shoot in the whole series.
“It’s supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you’ve ever had,” Rob said of the “ridiculous” scene. “So a lot of it was just closeups on me and Kristen’s faces, but there was no one else there. So it’s literally like, try and give a face of ecstasy. … Guys’ faces I don’t think are really designed to do that.” We dare to disagree. Just look at this example he gave:
It’s the beginning of the end, guys. We’re having a really hard time believing this is finally here — weren’t we just standing in line at the midnight release party of Breaking Dawn? But yeah, this morning, on the other side of the world, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kicked off the big promotional tour for the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 on the Eastern Hemisphere. Kristen just arrived in Tokyo’s Narita Airport, looking way better than anyone should after a trans-Pacific flight, and immediately smiled for the cameras and signed autographs for fans. Rob, meanwhile, did an unbelievably sexy photo shoot in Sydney before hitting the red carpet of a fan event. Of course, that’s where he made plenty of silly faces for his adoring public. We’re sure you can come up with better captions for them than our own, so share them with us in the comments!

In case you were wondering how Donald Trump felt about the Robsten reunion, the ever-outgoing mogul took to Twitter to make his feelings known. Trump issued a strong warning to Robert Pattinson against getting back together with former girlfriend and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart after she was caught cheating on him with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders back in July. Although he was probably just trying to be helpful, the 66-year-old dispensed the advice in his own uniquely abrasive way. Would you expect any less from The Trump?
“Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart,” he tweeted last night, after reports circulated that Rob and Kristen were seen back together in LA. “She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again — just watch. He can do much better!” So we guess he’s Team Edward? Predictably, Trump faced a pretty epic twitter backlash from Robsten loving Twi-Hards, but still he remained defiant. Having zillions of dollars can do that to you, we guess. “Lots of response to my Pattinson/Kristen Stewart reunion,” he wrote in a follow up tweet. “She will cheat again–100 certain–am I ever wrong?” To answer that question, we’d like to present you with this picture of Trump’s hair. If that’s not wrong, we don’t know what is.
Oh, we have so many feels! Just days after Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were peeped together in L.A. in what we’d all like to imagine was a snuggle-filled reunion, TMZ now reports that Kristen is moving in…to her own place in Los Feliz. Twist! Stewart allegedly purchased the home for $2.2 million, which we can only assume means she won’t be moving back in with Rob. Even more interesting, however, is the location of KStew’s new pad: a mere 1.5. miles from RPatz’s place. So we have to ask…whaaaa?
The way TMZ described the house (4 bedrooms, 5 baths, a pool, etc), it certainly didn’t sound like an apartment Kristen could just cool her heels in until she and Rob mended their relationship. Then we saw photos of the alleged home over at Us Weekly and knew it was a legit, for real, adult pad. On one hand, maybe this is the best way for them to get back together: by each having their own space. Alternately, this is the ultimate death knell for their relationship. Just kidding! We hope! It’s not as clear cut as if Rob and Kristen just started shacking up again, but we’ll take it. Also…let’s be honest. That new pool of hers looks sick.

As we were putting together this post, we learned that Robert Pattinson landed a supporting role opposite Carey Mulligan in Hold On to Me, a movie about a femme fatale who kidnaps the town’s richest man. This sounds like a kind of dramatic (or maybe darkly comic) movie. But after looking long and hard at the photos from last night’s Elle Women in Hollywood party, where RPattz introduced honoree Uma Thurman, his Bel Ami co-star, we’re wondering when his big comedy break is going to come. He never gets to put these goofy faces to good use onscreen!
You can watch his adorable, self-deprecating speech about Uma here, but you might have more fun browsing through the gallery below. We can’t imagine how intimidating it must be to introduce Mrs. Mia Wallace to a crowd of A-listers, so we captioned Rob’s faces with the kind of lame comedy routine we’d imagine giving if it were our job. Maybe you have something better? Share your captions in the comments below!

OK, so it looks like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are very slowly and casually easing themselves and the world back into the idea of their reunion (if they ever really split in the first place). The day after they were spotted out together with friends at Ye Rustic Inn in Los Feliz (a favorite hangout of our own Kate Spencer, who is devastated that she missed this!), and two days after they reportedly hung out at Chateau Marmont, the Twilight stars were spotted together again … in broad daylight!
TMZ has the photos of Rob, in a baseball cap and well-worn Germs henley, and Kristen in her signature short cutoffs, baseball cap and white tank, leaving a restaurant with friends in the afternoon. They aren’t seen holding hands or anything (which, who holds hands as you’re leaving a restaurant with friends? That just sounds logistically difficult), but the fact that they’re both wearing the kind of outfits we’re used to seeing them wear on a cazh day out together is very comforting, don’t you think?
Robsten returns, ya’ll! At least if the busybodies at Chateau Marmont are to be believed. According to several sources, Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted canoodling at the Chateau this Saturday while attending a friend’s birthday party. On a related note, this is the first time we have ever used the word “canoodling” and felt it accurately described what was going on. According to Us Magazine, RPatz and Stew “snuck into the garden from a private side entrance” to join the party and were “whispering very close and intimately.” This seems like a good sign to us. Never have we intimately whispered with an ex we weren’t at least thinking about dating again. In your face, Mystery Blonde!
Our question is, should Kristen and Rob appear together publicly as a couple before they have to made the rounds promoting Breaking Dawn Part 2? If they are truly back on, it might be wise to be caught eating frozen yogurt or playing with that dog of theirs before they have to endure a battery of press junkets leading up to November 16. That way we can all gnash our teeth, tear out our hair and share our FEELINGS and EMOTIONS with the Internet without them having to deal with it directly. On the other hand…there’s no way they won’t be asked about their love lives in the next couple weeks. Maybe they’d rather wait until the absolute last second to talk about their relationship, in order to give it the maximum allowable time to heal? What do you think the best re-coupling stratagem would be? Should Rob and Kristen just wait and make out on the red carpet at the premiere? Part of us wants to say yes?
Editor’s Note: Okay, so it looks like we know what the answer to this one is. ET Online now has footage of the pair hanging out at Ye Rustic Inn in L.A. this weekend, where they allegedly ”cozied up to each other.” Looks like we’re doing this for real, people! Man your squee stations!

Most people think of Patti Smith as a punk legend. Based on who she’s imagined playing herself and late photographer Robert Mapplethorpe in a biopic, she would also make an utterly magnificent casting director. “I remember the very first time I saw Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson together, when they were younger, and I thought, ‘Those two kids could have easily played us when they were first starting,’ ” the singer told Entertainment Weekly. “There’s something in his eyes. And Robert [Mapplethorpe] was also a bit shy, and a bit stoic. Kristen has a very special quality. She’s not conventionally beautiful, but very charismatic.” Uh, we don’t know if we would really characterize Kristen as either, but either way we love this casting call. Leather jackets, soulful longing, starving artistry: This is all we want to see Rob and Kristen do, forever. Let’s get these kids back to their roots! And by roots, we mean heaving sighs!
