We’re blaming Stephenie Meyer for the fact that we’re obsessed with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as parents. They’re so young and have plenty of time to get around to that in real life … but they’re just so darn good at it in Breaking Dawn – Part 2 that Kate Spencer couldn’t help asking them both about their thoughts on little ones. We already shared Kristen’s quotes on motherhood last week, but how about Rob’s? Kate made this a bit more comfortable for him to answer, asking if he thinks about showing the Twilight Saga to his kids and grandkids.
“That would be so weird,” he said. “I can’t even imagine that about anything that I’ve done.” Read more…
Looks like Kristen Stewart got some tips from co-star and buddy Taylor Lautner on how to duck and weave questions like a boss. When everyone’s favorite werewolf (sorry, True Blood fans) was asked by Cosmopolitan about his thoughts on the Kristen and Rupert Sanders cheating scandal he replied with, “To be honest, I’ve never been involved in any of those situations, so I don’t know. It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don’t want to give that if I haven’t even been there myself.” Deserving of a standing ovation, in our opinion. But then Kristen sped ahead of him in the props game. The actress was on the Today show promoting Breaking Dawn — Part 2 when “that” question popped up courtesy host, Savannah Guthrie. She asked, “Kristen you have so many fans and they would be mad at us if we don’t ask you and they follow your life and they want to know, are you back together with Robert Pattinson.” That’s when we almost spilled our coffee, but Kristen made this nonchalant sound and immediately replied, “Funny you mention that. I’m just going to let people watch whatever little movie they think our lives are and go for it. Keep them guessing, I always say.” Her expression is to die for! Watch below to see what we’re talking about.
We all knew Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson would be bombarded with questions about cheating and/or their relationship during the lead-up to next week’s Breaking Dawn Part 2. We just didn’t figure Taylor Lautner would have to field queries about them, too. (He’s the third member of their love triangle in the movies, not real life, people!) Obviously Taylor’s publicist anticipated he’d be grilled about “The Rupert Sanders Incident,” because this kid is ducking and weaving like a pro. “To be honest, I’ve never been involved in any of those situations, so I don’t know,” Taylor told Cosmowhen asked about cheating. “It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don’t want to give that if I haven’t even been there myself.” Can anyone even summarize what he meant by that sentence? No? Haha, well done Taylor!
Bill Condon says that the vampire sex in Breaking Dawn Part 2 was “easier” to figure out than the vampire-human sex in Breaking Dawn Part 1 (yes, I’m bring you all the hard-hitting news in this post). “All we know about vampire sex is that it’s really, really good in a way we can’t even imagine. So it was more abstract.”
The director – who is an absolute delight to chat with – credits Rob Pattinson for coming up with the vampire sex scene’s most pivotal lovemaking move. “Rob had the absolute best idea for it,” he says. “He was like, ‘you know what her real erogenous zone is that I really want to start with? It’s right here on her neck, because that’s the classic place where a vampire bites somebody, so it’s the one place he’s never been able to kiss her before, because he can’t trust himself. So now that he’s a vampire he can finally attack that neck.’”
Bill adds, “It was a great way to get started.”
Um, yeah it was. Now, as Bill was telling me this, my pervy fangirl brain wasbuzzing between how hot it is that Rob was basically directing where on his girlfriend he wanted to kiss first in the sex scene and how sad I was that he chose Kristen Stewart‘s neck over her arm pit. But you know, beggars can’t be chosers, right?
We’ve seen the vampire sex and are dying to talk with you all about it. Let’s discuss on November 16th, shall we?
With Kristen Stewart talking to VH1 News about her maternal urges, this clip of boyfriend Robert Pattinson talking about his relationship with his father made us all googly-eyed and hopeful about the recently patched-up couple going the distance. Pattinstew babies, anyone? When Kate Spencer sat the actor down, she asked him whether his experiences with his dad — that’s Mr. Pattinson to you — had in anyway prepared him to play a father on screen to Renesmee. After throwing out one of those adorable, baffled giggles of his, he laughed, “Maybe subconsiously? I don’t know!” But then he let the question sink in and replied, “It’s funny, my dad was working tons when I was growing up, so it’s strange that Edward would just be around all the time. Neither one of them work, so it’s an unusual dynamic.” Just when we were starting to feel a little bummed out, he finished with the one thing that made our ovaries ache more than usual when he’s anywhere in the picture. He added, “I would hope that … He’s a pretty good dad so I would hope that his stuff would come into me as well.” Read more…
While Kristen Stewart went edgy and black-and-white in Balenciaga for On The Road this weekend, yesterday saw her getting edgy and colorful in Peter Pilotto for Jay Leno. The actress was promotion The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 and chose the kaleidoscopic, digital-print ‘Damask’ Resort 2013 mini-dress you see above. She paired it with Christian Louboutin ‘Decollette’ black pumps and a Cartier ‘Juste Un Clou’ bracelet and we think the whole ensemble is pretty ace on her. And she was in quite a jovial mood through the segment. When Leno asked her, “What are you going to miss the most about playing Bella? Are you going to miss any of it?” she jokingly replied, “No, especially not these guys like ever, ever” while pointing to the audience. The conversation then skims over everything from those masks she wore for Halloween with Robert Pattinson, which she got from Tokyo. Which leads to an interesting, but hilarious, little bit about … sex toys. See for yourself!
Speaking of Rob, he was on Jimmy Kimmel the same night so it was a bit of a Twilight takeover! He also partook of the funny sauce as he was saying things like, “I don’t understand, my lip is literally like a vacuum,” when talking about his kissing scenes in the film.
When Anthony Mackie first told VH1 News about his playing golf with his “homeboy” Robert Pattinson, we were ecstatic about the image of the two in their best crazy-print pants, tee-ing off and shooting the breeze, or insert some other golf-y thing here. So of course when Kate Spencer got the chance to sit down with Rob at the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 press day last week, she asked him about his game. And then Rob promptly shattered our dreams.
“I don’t understand where this has come from!” Rob said, laughing. “I’ve seen him do another interview as well. I’m like, what is this? He’s really deadpan joking about it. I mean, I would love to, but, uh. Unless this has happened without me realizing it. Which is possible.”
Oh, no! Is someone drugging Rob and placing him on random man-dates with Hollywood’s finest actors? Also, is Anthony pulling our leg about HIS ENTIRE FRIENDSHIP with Rob, or just about the golf thing? Because if those two aren’t friends yet, as the Hurt Locker also claimed to MTV earlier this year, we need to set them up. Their dry sense of humor is perfectly calibrated for each other! OR, maybe Rob is the one messing with us (and Anthony) and he’s making up the fact that Anthony made it up.
On the other hand, Rob’s “incredulous” expression is one of our favorites, so maybe more people should make up harmless stories like this: Read more…
Right, we do we make of this outfit? Of course it’s a Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière ensemble, with Christian Louboutin heels, natch, as that seem to be our main lady’s favorite combination, but it’s an unusual choice for a premiere. But we’ve come to accept the unexpected from Kristen Stewart and knew she would wear something out of the ordinary for the On The Road AFI Fest premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in L.A. on Saturday evening. We also understand that she wanted to go for something architectural and minimal but couldn’t those pants have fitted better? And let’s take a look at what’s happening with her face.
She’s gorgeous, as usual, but hello, goth girl! Check out the smoky eyes and the deep berry lips. Is too much? Maybe? Can she pull it off? Totally. And that’s all about the stuff you can see with the pictures. Here’s some interesting news that happened on the down-low at the after party. E! has reported that Kristen’s boyfriend Robert Pattinson joined her at the Roosevelt Hotel where they spent the evening together at the Garden Terrace. He didn’t walk the red carpet, and slipped in and slipped out in stealth mode. And apparently they were quite affectionate with each other as the site says that, “The two seemed in great spirits the whole night… Finally, a bit after midnight, Kristen was dancing and Rob made his way back to her. They spoke energetically and were playful, with Rob jokingly showing some dance moves of his own. As for PDA, she patted his chest a few times as they talked and rubbed his head at one point. He whispered in her ear and put his arm around her for a moment.” Swoon-worthy stuff, right? We’re just happy they’re getting back to normal again!
Seeing Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner get to make fun of my old pal Josh Horowitz one last time is reason enough for me to hope for some kind of weird spin-off movie one day, far off in the future. This can’t be the last time! But until that strange day comes to pass, we’ll instead wax nostalgic about the live stream that happened tonight, with a look back at the stars’ sweetest moments on the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 MTV First. In no particular order.
1) “The actual end end for me felt like the end,” Rob said seriously, before cracking himself up over the absurdity of that statement. Does he mean the last scene they shot? The last time they did ADR? Or the last scene in the movie? Who cares, as long as he keeps laughing like that (see above).
2) Which of them is most like his or her character?
Okay, we can’t even deal with the hotness that is Robert Pattinson on this November issue of L’Uomo Vogue. The Italian’s really have done right by him and we’ve even imbibed the fact that his trench is by Lanvin and his rings are by Lazaro. That’s how long we’ve been staring at the page and each of the minuscule details on it. They’ve really coaxed the smoulder out of him and we can’t stop staring at all the leather and the spikes. This is like old-school sexy, right? Testosterone meets broody meets our ovaries singing. It’s like a Rob bonanza today! We just posted about his and Kristen Stewart‘s Groucho Marx masked appearance at a party at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery yesterday. Perhaps the back-to-front baseball cap gave it away? While we’re happy with any pictures of the Pattz that we can get, a magazine cover like this one is a definite bonus. We can’t wait to read the interview inside when it comes out within the week. We’re going to go back to staring at the cover photograph now. Those eyes!
