Breaking Dawn director, and thus our imaginary best friend, Bill Condon, is so effusive in his praise about his actors, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. He’s already said that Kristen is, “an incredible warrior goddess” in the movie and that, even though there was some apprehension about playing a mother onscreen and she was, “nervous to show the maternal side because it’s something that hasn’t happened for her yet,” she came through and “it got turned on immediately when Mackenzie Foy showed up.” Sweet, right? What he says in the clip above is even more awesome. He was asked what Rob and Kristen’s dynamic was with Mackenzie as her celluloid parents and his answer came straight out and sounded so sincere. “Oh my God,” he exclaims. “They were so parental with her. I mean, Kristen especially because she had been a child actor before, so she was so protective of her. It was great to watch.” Then he added the part that made our ovaries squee in agreement. He brought up Robert’s deal as a dad, saying, “And Rob, oh my God! Anytime there was a baby around, it was amazing.” Amazing was stretched out, so Condon is letting you know that Rob is already Dad of the Year, without actually being a dad. He was also asked if Rob would be a fun father, and he replied with, ” Yeah yeah he would be. But actually, more serious about it than you would think.” Oh … we’ve though about it. It’s serious alright!
Do you think the photographer who took this photo kissed his camera for capturing such a perfect red carpet moment? That’s exactly why we couldn’t be paparazzi: our lens would be smeared with Chapstick after shooting the cuteness that is today’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2 premiere in London. While Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson were predictably stunning at the L.A. premiere Monday night, pics from today’s red carpet suggests that Robsten is feeling more and more at ease hitting the carpet together. Look at those head tilts. Adorable levels of comfort up in here. Taylor Lautner clearly agrees.
Oh, and if that wasn’t exciting enough, Kristen is straight up wearing a lace pantsuit.
We already know that Kristen Stewart is a stone cold fox in Zuhair Murad at the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 premiere in L.A. tonight. But there’s a lot more best-dressed action going on, on the black carpet as well. Kristen’s boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, for instance, is pulling off a bottle green Gucci suit. We kid you not. Also wearing the shade is a dark haired Dakota Fanning in an emerald Elie Saab, that’s lovely on her. Bella Thorne is in the same color too, wearing a mullet dress with a ruffled hem, paired with a black belt and pumps. Saoirse Ronan is ethereal in a white Simone Rocha dress and brogues, and the frock has this interesting broderie anglaise-esque hem on it. Christian Serratos is red-hot in a fire engine Zac Posen gown, YSL shoes, Judith Leiber clutch and Kisshy jewelry and is totally channeling an old Hollywood screen siren. Kiernan Shipka is chic in a navy frock with raspberry pumps and we want the whole damn thing. As we always do because she has the best stylist in the whole world who we want to be friends with. But … who really stole the show is Amadou Ly — Henri from the French coven — who came attired in full tribal gear. A nod to his Senegalese heritage? Either way, we love it! Check out all our picks in the gallery below and tell us if you agree!

Some of you kept the faith all summer long, and we should have listened to you. Back when all that stuff that we won’t talk about happened between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the rest of us feared that we’d never get to see what we saw tonight: Robsten — and for old time’s sake, we’d like to call them Robsten again — looking as cozy as ever together on the red carpet for the fifth and final Twilight premiere. It’s not the first time we’ve seen them back together, but it certainly was a momentous occasion. And we’re extra pleased that Kristen’s nude Zuhair Murad gown nicely complemented Rob’s green Gucci suit on the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 black carpet. Enough talking, just enjoy these photos that the pessimists among us feared would never happen.

Cue the “Memories”/”Through the Years”/sappy song of choice. We are tearing up at the thought that tonight is the very last Twilight red carpet of all time, unless, of course, they decide to do that much-debated spin-off movie or, god forbid, remake these for some future generation. We’ll be waxing nostalgic all week, even as we look forward to the movie’s release on Thursday night, and we thought we’d begin with a simple look back at what our favorite stars wore to the big Los Angeles premieres, beginning with the first Twilight in 2008. Stay tuned for plenty more from tonight’s festivities!

Honestly, do you even need us to write words here? Probably, we should just shut up and let you watch Robert Pattinson get drenched, even as he wins his Water War game with Jimmy Fallon on Late Night. But maybe after you enjoy the above clip a few times, you will also want to entertain yourself with the many funny things we learned from his appearance on the show. Things such as the fact that Rob is a Corky Romano superfan.
“I love that movie; I would say that’s one of my top five favorite movies,” he said of the Chris Kattan comedy. “That’s the only time I’ve ever genuinely peed my pants … from watching a movie.”
We’re blaming Stephenie Meyer for the fact that we’re obsessed with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as parents. They’re so young and have plenty of time to get around to that in real life … but they’re just so darn good at it in Breaking Dawn – Part 2 that Kate Spencer couldn’t help asking them both about their thoughts on little ones. We already shared Kristen’s quotes on motherhood last week, but how about Rob’s? Kate made this a bit more comfortable for him to answer, asking if he thinks about showing the Twilight Saga to his kids and grandkids.
“That would be so weird,” he said. “I can’t even imagine that about anything that I’ve done.”
Looks like Kristen Stewart got some tips from co-star and buddy Taylor Lautner on how to duck and weave questions like a boss. When everyone’s favorite werewolf (sorry, True Blood fans) was asked by Cosmopolitan about his thoughts on the Kristen and Rupert Sanders cheating scandal he replied with, “To be honest, I’ve never been involved in any of those situations, so I don’t know. It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don’t want to give that if I haven’t even been there myself.” Deserving of a standing ovation, in our opinion. But then Kristen sped ahead of him in the props game. The actress was on the Today show promoting Breaking Dawn — Part 2 when “that” question popped up courtesy host, Savannah Guthrie. She asked, “Kristen you have so many fans and they would be mad at us if we don’t ask you and they follow your life and they want to know, are you back together with Robert Pattinson.” That’s when we almost spilled our coffee, but Kristen made this nonchalant sound and immediately replied, “Funny you mention that. I’m just going to let people watch whatever little movie they think our lives are and go for it. Keep them guessing, I always say.” Her expression is to die for! Watch below to see what we’re talking about.

We all knew Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson would be bombarded with questions about cheating and/or their relationship during the lead-up to next week’s Breaking Dawn Part 2. We just didn’t figure Taylor Lautner would have to field queries about them, too. (He’s the third member of their love triangle in the movies, not real life, people!) Obviously Taylor’s publicist anticipated he’d be grilled about “The Rupert Sanders Incident,” because this kid is ducking and weaving like a pro. “To be honest, I’ve never been involved in any of those situations, so I don’t know,” Taylor told Cosmo when asked about cheating. “It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don’t want to give that if I haven’t even been there myself.” Can anyone even summarize what he meant by that sentence? No? Haha, well done Taylor!
Bill Condon says that the vampire sex in Breaking Dawn Part 2 was “easier” to figure out than the vampire-human sex in Breaking Dawn Part 1 (yes, I’m bring you all the hard-hitting news in this post). “All we know about vampire sex is that it’s really, really good in a way we can’t even imagine. So it was more abstract.”
The director – who is an absolute delight to chat with – credits Rob Pattinson for coming up with the vampire sex scene’s most pivotal lovemaking move. “Rob had the absolute best idea for it,” he says. “He was like, ‘you know what her real erogenous zone is that I really want to start with? It’s right here on her neck, because that’s the classic place where a vampire bites somebody, so it’s the one place he’s never been able to kiss her before, because he can’t trust himself. So now that he’s a vampire he can finally attack that neck.’”
Bill adds, “It was a great way to get started.”
Um, yeah it was. Now, as Bill was telling me this, my pervy fangirl brain was buzzing between how hot it is that Rob was basically directing where on his girlfriend he wanted to kiss first in the sex scene and how sad I was that he chose Kristen Stewart‘s neck over her arm pit. But you know, beggars can’t be chosers, right?
We’ve seen the vampire sex and are dying to talk with you all about it. Let’s discuss on November 16th, shall we?
