Halloween in December? Sure, we’ll take it! A few weeks back we were saddened to hear that Heidi Klum’s annual spooky costume ball was yet another victim of Hurricane Sandy. Seriously, take a look at some of her insanely elaborate costumes from past years; clearly this gal plans for this all year long and she must have been pretty bummed. But luckily for her she was able to reschedule and throw her epic shindig on Saturday, just in time for Christmas! It’s a holiday miracle! The gathering was less creepy-crawly and more Kris Kringle, but she still stole the show with her Cleopatra get-up, complete with jeweled face makeup. And it’s all for a good cause! Heidi teamed up with the Red Cross to raise money for folks who lost a lot more than a Halloween party in the horrific superstorm. We guess the former Victoria’s Secret Angel hasn’t lost her heavenly bent after all. Check out more from the party in the gallery below!

Adrienne Bailon revealed a little more than her questionable fashion sense on the Escape To Total Rewards red carpet last Friday. And by “a little more,” we mean “her entire crotch.” Luckily Russell Simmons checked in with the former Cheetah Girls star, who offered a tearful, confusing explanation for her scandalous frock. “The wind blew and despite what other girls may do, this is really a terrible accident to me,” Simmons reported the actress saying on his Global Grind site. “I’m really upset, but I’m even more upset about what my parents might think. I want to be known for my talent. I love the idea of being sexy, but I’ve never been in this business to sell sex, I’ve been in this business to sell my talent. The truth is, when you look at the pictures, you don’t realize that the wind really did blow my dress, and I don’t really know what else to say about it.” Well, we have a few more things to say about it, such as:

There are lots of times when we can ignore the fact that celebrities live better lives than us (like, this morning, when we read about Sinead O’Connor’s miserable love life, for instance). There are even times when we try to imagine that their lives are JUST LIKE our own (say, on Saturday when Paris, Prince and Blanket Jackson were on my JetBlue flight from the Bahamas to Orlando!!!). But then we get to work and browse through photos like the ones above and below, and realize we a) don’t have friends with yachts, and b) don’t have round-the-clock personal trainers and chefs to make us look amazing during the two months of the year when it’s impossible not to stuff your face daily. Anyway, at least we all get enjoy getting to look at pretty pictures. Democracy in action. Check out these pics of Katy Perry, Kimora Lee and Djimon Hounsou, Russell Simmons and Melissa George, Stephanie Seymour, Jon Bon Jovi, Serena Williams, Coco and Mischa Barton enjoying their Christmas weekend on the beach. And don’t miss our gallery of the 100 hottest celebrity bikini pics of 2011.

What did we do before celebrities found out about Twitter? Whether it’s hot bodies in bikinis, hot bodies out of bikinis, scabs, famous people without makeup or ill-advised tattoos, 2011 was a great year for celebrity TMI tweets. Everyone from Gaga and Kanye to Katy Perry and Mariah Carey wanted to share the inside of their hearts (and pants and bathroom stalls) with the world. Not that we want them to stop, mind you! Not like we would ever want them to stop. In the meantime, check out the 28 Best TwitPics of 2011: Because you can’t untweet something once it’s been tweeted, no matter how hard you try.

Jay-Z isn’t the first rapper to make a connection with the Occupy Wall Street movement; Kanye has stopped by the New York City protest, and Russell Simmons has done everything but set up a cot and unroll his sleeping bag in Zuccotti Park. When it comes to protest fashion, however, Hov got the jump on the rest; as of today his Rocawear line will be featuring a line of shirts sporting the slogan “Occupy All Streets.” Objectively, that seems like a pretty great addition to any wardrobe; if only some of the proceeds were actually going to the movement that makes that phrase something the kids would want to buy.
According to Rocawear’s spokesperson, Jay-Z‘s brand has not “made an official commitment” to supporting the movement with the shirts. Now, of course Hov has the right to do whatever he wants with his gear within reason. That being said, Hov has already made it in the 1%. Maybe it’s time to spread some love to the other 99? Think of how good all those drum circles would sound with some new skins! Well…or at least better.
They all came in droves to watch the The Hangover Part II! And by “they” we mean every type of celebrity. The supermodels showed up—Selita Ebanks and Alessandra Ambrosio. The fashion designer showed up—Calvin Klein. Even figure skater Johnny Weir turned up! The screening was held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City, with an after party at The Top of The Standard.
The cast—Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianaki —held court with director, Todd Phillips. They were probably quite pleased with the mixed bag crowd who showed up, including the likes of Zach Braff, James van der Beek, Ciara, Ivanka Trump and Russell Simmons. For the full 411 on who was there, check out our gallery below.

We’re having a hard time imagining Bill Cosby dropping the F-bomb at all, let alone directing it at someone like Russell Simmons. Come on, it’s Russell Simmons, peaceful yogi billionaire who would never hurt a fly, right? But apparently Cosby and Simmons have been feuding ever since 2009, when Cosby began a campaign called “State of Emergency,” which sought to promote more socially conscious lyrics in rap music. Cosby is holding a grudge against Simmons, who criticized the campaign. Simmons wrote at the time, “Bill Cosby is an example of someone from the older generation who has consistently blamed the poets and asked suffering community members to bare the full burden of guilt for the struggles that they endure. …This is a call-out to all the adults who are judging more and listening less to the beautiful, progressive voices that come from our young people…Bill Cosby just happens be on the front line.”
Seems that criticism stuck with Cosby because at the recent Jackie Robinson Annual Awards Gala dinner, Simmons approached Cosby to address their disagreement and things didn’t go as planned. Simmons wrote on his blog “I wanted to find him to apologize, to tell him I was sorry about my statements and to tell him that I loved him. Suddenly I turned and he was behind the curtain and I said ‘I love you’ and he responded on some real hip-hop, ‘Get the f— out my face!'” When asked about the incident, Cosby replied via his reps, “I don’t want to discuss it.” Simmons writes about his love for Cosby in this most recent post, and his headline is “Bill Cosby Punk’d Me When He Said: “Get The F— Out My Face,” but we can’t seem to find the punking element to the story, is their beef for real or not? This whole thing is just so out of character for Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable.

One thing’s for sure, celebrities certainly rebound quickly. John Mellencamp and Elaine Irwin announced their divorce in December but it only took Mellencamp a few days to debut his new love, Meg Ryan. Well, Irwin realized that two can play that game and recently headed out to a Valentine’s Day lunch to benefit the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation with Russell Simmons, who runs the charity.
When we first read in Page Six that Irwin and Simmons were “inseparable” we were wary because, who knows? Maybe they has a lot of business to discuss at the lunch. “Inseparable” is one of those terms that’s so vague and never really confirms physical contact or romance. Judging from the photos of the event, however, we’d have to say that yes, they were inseparable and they are in fact an item. This is not how you pose when you’re “just friends.” Congrats to the new couple, we’re guessing you had a pretty good Valentine’s Day.

Poor Kanye! No matter what he does, he’s ticking somebody off. If he isn’t insulting former President George Bush, Kanye West is making fellow millionaires mad by not insulting former President George Bush. Can’t we cut this guy a break already?
Based on comments he made on his new show, according Russell Simmons, Kanye West’s apology to the President never should have left his brain, especially not when many so Americans agree with his original statements, i.e. that Bush was fairly crappy when it came to helping African-Americans. Says Russell, “I’m a little bit disappointed that he apologized to George Bush. I felt like, why do that s**t?” Hmm, yeah…we agree with that. But then again, where were the other celebrities when Kanye was being raked over the coals for making Bush Jr. cry into the gigantic silky pillows on his Presidential Suite bed? Seems awfully convenient to bring it up now that it’s all blown over.
Explained Simmons, “Kanye says things that people think but don’t always get to say, so when he says ‘George Bush don’t like black people,’ it was what millions of Americans thought and felt.” Well, if ever there was a time to make some statements about the former President, today’s the day, Russell! We mean, Bush probably already has a half-empty box of Kleenex next to his bed. Really, how bad can you make him feel? [Photo: Splash News Online]
