Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Grease are just two of the many iconic high school movies that have earned a more permanent place in our hearts than our own graduating class. But as much as we think we know their stories inside and out, we often forget their central lie: Their stars were way older than their roles. Prepare to be amazed (or at least to laugh knowingly!) as we take a look at some hit TV shows and movies — from The Graduate to High School Musical, Beverly Hills 90210 to Buffy — starring actors who aren’t exactly age appropriate for the parts they play. Check out the full gallery of the 30 over-aged actors who managed to fool us!
Why was Tyra Banks outside a marijuana dispensary? Bradley Cooper loves his comfy slippers, and fans can take a look behind the scenes of Kick Ass 2.
Nothing like a spot of polo over the weekend. It all looks so elegant with the pretty dresses, tea and champagne. And hot polo players. The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is an annual affair that most of Hollywood’s ladies turn up for because it’s such great fashion exposure for them. By the looks of it, this year was the third time in a row they threw a quite successful event, held at the Will Rogers State Historic Park in Pacific Palisades, California. Ashley Greene led the festivities in a gorgeous white Antonio Berardi bandage dress with nude pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti. Kaley Cuoco looked light and summery in a printed Brian Rennie for Basler dress — love the pocket detailing. Rose McGowan was there too, wearing a purple Philip Lim jumpsuit, Brian Atwood shoes and a Bruno Magli clutch. Mandy Moore wore almost the same shade, but in a printed dress version by Lela Rose with Christian Loubotin heels. Our best-dressed goes to Alessandra Ambrosio who wore an amazing color-blocked, maxi BCBGMAXAZRIA dress. We’re also totally feeling Selma Blair‘s Skaist Taylor blue jumpsuit and Marc Jacobs sandals.
One more panel left after the jump, so have a look and tell us whose looks you dug the most! There’s Rachel Zoe, Rebecca Romjin and Lauren Conrad‘s outfits too! Read more…

Blame It On the Rain: Spider-Man Vs. The Notebook
Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst defied gravity, bad guys and the admittedly creepy factor of kissing a strange boy in a dark alley for this Golden Popcorn worthy makeout sesh. In interviews, Kirsten Dunst said the rain made it feel like she was drowning too. But all that discomfort didn’t discourage the Spider-Man co-stars to carry on their romance off-screen while filming the 2001 flick. Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling’s drenched performance didn’t seem to require all that much acting in The Notebook — the two were also dating in real life. We really can’t blame them. But can we choose between them?
It’s a boy! Selma Blair welcomed her first child into the world on Monday, her reps are telling People Magazine. She and husband, fashion designer Jason Bleick, named their 7 lb., 12 oz bundle Arthur Saint. The couple, who met working together on Bleick’s clothing line, announced that they were ‘expecting’ in January, but didn’t want to say whether it was a going to be a boy or girl. “I’m not going to say what it is yet,” she told People in March. “Hopefully, it’s one or the other. Who knows these days!”
Apparently she had a great pregnancy, full of love, excitement, a little nerves, and lots and lots of pancakes. “I eat pancakes all day long. I don’t eat gluten, so I eat gluten-free pancakes. It’s a little better, but not much!” she says. “I have a lot of pancake cravings, a lot of grapefruit [cravings].” Congrats to the happy family! Pancakes all around!

The baby brigade is really booming in Hollywood. Joining the list of fab moms is Selma Blair, who’s reportedly pregnant. She’s expecting her first child with her fashion designer boyfriend Jason Bleick. There’s no official statement from the couple yet, but the news is everywhere and a source told Star, “Selma and Jason are ecstatic! It’s still early on but they have started telling family members and close friends. Selma never thought she could be this happy. Her life right now is a dream come true!”
Blair was previously married to Ahmet Zappa for two years, till 2006, and started dating Bleick last year after ending a relationship with Mikey Day (who she was with since 2008). The source continues talking about their relationship revealing, “Selma started dating Jason last year and although the pregnancy was a surprise, she couldn’t be happier. They gave each other promise rings but they have no plans to marry.”
Congratulations to the couple! We wonder when the baby is due and what new star sign he or she will be?

You know how some days, you’re out at the stables riding your horse (whose name is Taffy, of course), when you realize, “Oh no! I forgot to pick up sparkling water!” so you leave to go to the store to pick some up but you just can’t manage to carry the twelve-pack and your riding helmet and your fresh-cut flowers and your Prada bag? You’re not alone – Selma Blair had just that conundrum yesterday. Sometimes when we start to think that celebrities live in a world so foreign to ours, stuff like this that makes us realize they’re actually no different from you and me.

We are Target people. We go in that store needing batteries and come out with $100 worth of crap. Their designer clothing line, where A-list designers create a lower-priced line to be sold to the broke, downtrodden masses is one of our favorite things about the store, and the latest designer hopping on board is Zac Posen. Posen’s line launches on April 25, but there was a launch party last night at the New Yorker Hotel full of celebs who can afford the real thing, and they were all decked out in the designer’s duds.
Stars like Claire Danes, Selma Blair and Parker Posey were all wearing clothes from the lower-priced line – some of them we loved, and some were, as our mom says, a little too “busy” for our tastes. Still, we totally plan to pillage the racks to find one in our size. It’s haute couture, after all.

The Academy Awards are arguably the classiest annual event in entertainment. Yet some A-listers like Cher, Cameron Diaz and Demi Moore, all of whom work dang hard to keep their bodies taut and toned, can’t resist the urge to slut it up. We’re not sure if high slits, deep Vs, and revealing mesh are appropriate Oscars attire, but we’re not complaining. Here’s a collection of actresses for whom modesty is not their red carpet policy.
