Who Wants To See The American Pie Reunion? Probably Not The Stars Who Went To The Original Premiere

American Pie lovers (all both of yous) will be happy to hear the news that most of the film’s stars have signed on for one more sequel called American Reunion. It’s not that we hate the movie—we actually quite enjoyed it when it came out—but any goodwill toward the film was lost with each subsequent sequel (American Pie 2, American Wedding) and spinoff (American Pie Presents Band Camp, American Pie Presents The Naked Mile, American Pie Presents Beta House, American Pie Presents The Book Of Love) that came out of the franchise. But now, there will be (at least) one last hurrah.

American Reunion has signed every major actor from the film (though Alyson Hannigan is still a maybe) to reprise the roles they played in the 1999 film, with Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, and Seann William Scott among them. If you weren’t really paying attention back then, this movie was a phenomenon, a must-see blockbuster that was unprecedented for its raunchiness, which explains the star-studded turnout at its premiere twelve years ago. We unearthed some amazing photos from that hot summer night in 1999 of some serious A-listers at the premiere and it made us wonder: Would these people be caught dead at the premiere for American Reunion? Probably not, but check out the gallery and see for yourself.

Holy Macanoli, It’s The Return Of Punky Brewster

Soleil Moon Frye might be a talented clothing designer and busy mother of two these days, but she remembers where she came from and what her fans want — Punky Brewster. Frye took to her Twitter page yesterday and, as a gift for all her fans in “Twitterville,” she donned the latch-key, knee bandanna and the pigtails so we could relish the 80’s all over again.

Frye uploaded a video which was a tribute to her finally accumulating a million followers (might seem like a lot, but the girl is close, personal friends with Ashton Kutcher so that might explain something). Maybe if she hits two million she’ll ask Cheri to join her. [Photos: Getty Images]

Punky Brewster Launches Real-Life Clothing Line

Soleil Moon Frye, the actress who played our favorite ’80s style icon Punky Brewster, might not be tying bandanas around her knees anymore, but she’s still pretty stylin’. The 32-year-old mother of two girls (her daughters are named Poet and Jagger — that’s so Punky), has just launched a children’s clothing line called Private Label that’s eco-friendly, organic and free of allergens. It will be sold at L.A. store The Little Seed.

Frye actually had a hand in designing the line and she and her partner Paige Tolmach want shoppers to know that “you can have an eco-lifestyle and still be fun and stylish and colorful.” Celebs like Melissa Joan Hart, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore all came out for the launch of the line, but Moore was there for extra support, she’s the godmother to Frye’s daughter Poet.
