Star Watch: Immortals Premieres In L.A.

The whole cast of Immortals came out to play at the premiere of the film, held yesterday in L.A. Freida Pinto was murderously chic in a metallic, textured Antonio Berardi gown. Henry Cavill, the lead in the movie, wore a suit that barely contained his Superman physique. Isabel Lucas looked slender and very pretty in a Roksanda Ilincic dress while a suited-up Kellan Lutz held on tight to new girlfriend, Sharni Vinson.

Stephen Dorff, Luke Evans, Mickey Rourke and Joseph Morgan rounded off the cast. Joseph, FYI, plays our favorite new badass vamp on The Vampire Diaries and his co-star Claire Holt was at the premiere, as well. Also spotted were 50 Cent, Nia Vardalos, Estella Warren, Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari. Crazy Fashion On Somewhere‘s Red Carpet

Somewhere in Los Angeles, a sad clown is sitting in his incredibly cramped tiny car wondering where his favorite pantsuit is. He hasn’t yet learned that model Erin Wasson stole it for the premiere of Somewhere at the Arclight last night. Wasson has just a small role in the film and yet she was all we could look at because…look at that uhh, jumpsuit? Romper? What would you call it?

There was actually a ton of crazy fashion on the red carpet for the new Sofia Coppola film, but the main stars, Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning, kept it classy and demure compared to the likes of Wasson, Elodie Bouchez and Isabel Lucas. Sorry, Stephen Dorff, We Have To Post These Awesome Old Pictures Of You And Your Famous Friends

Stephen Dorff is about to enjoy a bit of a comeback now that he’s starring in Sofia Coppola‘s upcoming film, Somewhere, which comes out next month. To be fair, he never actually went anywhere, he’s been making movies steadily since 1987, but he hasn’t really been in a blockbuster since, yikes, Blade? We guess? 1998. Wow, that’s a while. Anyway. Point is, he’s kind of all over the place these days (for instance, on the cover of  VMan Magazine looking hot and sexy-leathery) but that got us thinking about how hot and slightly-less-leathery he used to be, which begat a photo search, which unearthed some super ’90s treasures.

We discovered that Dorff has quite a cache of famous friends and former co-stars from back in the day. Dorff frequently walked the red carpet accompanied by his various friends and girlfriends (Neil Patrick Harris during Doogie days! Teenage Reese Witherspoon!) and these photos are like a time capsule from the years you listened to that one Everclear album on repeat and thought Goat-Boy was the funniest SNL sketch ever. So of course we created a list of our favorite Dorfffriends through the years. As you can see, some stars faded as the new millennium approached, and some only got bigger and more Oscar-winning. Please enjoy and, who knows, maybe you’ll be inspired to Netflix Backbeat after this.
