Bonnie Wright Is The Latest Star To Chop Her Hair, Check Out 20 Others Who Went Short In 2012
Harry Potter starlet Bonnie Wright showed up at Jo Malone’s Thoroughly Proper Party in London on Wednesday lacking her long flowing locks. After years of being linked to her character Ginny Weasley with trademark titan tresses, maybe she followed in the footsteps of Emma Watson, who famously cropped her hair as soon as the series ended to get some distance from the franchise. Or she’s just hopping on the short hair band wagon!
It seems like ever A-lister has gotten the urge to hack of the hair this year. Some like Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron and Evangeline Lilly went super short for film roles, whereas former American Idol singer Kellie Pickler got a buzz to support her friend being treated for cancer. And then there are music mama’s like Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys who went short just for the hell of it. Coachella Turns Into CelebrityVille For A Second Weekend In A Row
Coachella went down for its second weekend in Indio, California, and as expected, the stars flocked to it again. Last weekend had its fair share of controversies attached to it. Not to the festival per se, but to the many celebrities who attended. What was Lindsay Lohan doing there against her judge’s advice? Who was the mystery dude Emma Watson was with? And what exactly was Rihanna smoking? So many questions. No answers just yet. But in contrast, this last weekend of Coachella seemed easy-peasy.
Some celebrities, like Dita von Teese and Busy Philipps, showed up on both Saturday and Sunday. Dita was also spotted hanging out with pal Kelly Osbourne, and her purple hair. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was seen rocking out to Florence Welch. Twilighters Elizabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed (with hubby Paul McDonald) were there, as well as ex-Twilighter Rachelle Lefevre. Joe Jonas hatted up, while Joe Manganiello (and yay for this) took his shirt off. But the cutest photographs by far, were of Alicia Silverstone with her son Bear Blu. What a charming name for a ball. The 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball took place at Cipriani’s, New York, and Sarah Jessica Parker really took it upon herself to dress accordingly, looking like a very convincing snowflake in a white silk, cut-work and feather trimmed Louis Vuitton dress — part of the same collection Kate Moss closed earlier this year. Looking at lot more slinky were Uma Thurman and Angie Harmon, who nailed it in a skintight green dress and a shimmery halter gown, respectively.
Other celebrities included couples like Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle (who also looked great in a red gown slit high up the thigh) and Mark Ruffalo with his delightfully named wife, Sunrise. Stars Flock To The CFDA Vogue Awards
The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards took place on Monday night at the Skylight in New York. Young Hollywood was well rep’d by the likes of Amanda Seyfried, Joe Jonas, Chloe Moretz, Mia Wasikowska, Zoe Kravitz and Olivia Wilde. It was couple’s night as well with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, La La and Carmelo Anthony, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell and Cobra Starship‘s Gabe Saporta with designer Erin Featherstone making an appearance. The event was presided over by the steely eyes of Anna Wintour, so you know everyone rethought their outfits at least five times before heading out.

Zoe Kravitz’s Awkward Movie Date With Gossip Dude Penn Badgley
It looks like the X-Men bond has been broken, as Zoe Kravitz has split with her First Class costar Michael Fassbender and moved on to Gossip Girl star, Penn Badgley. The two were seen leaving the (aptly named) Friends With Benefits party in the same cab, and more recently they were seen canoodling in a darkened movie theater watching Horrible Bosses. “He had his arm around her while they waited in line,†a source told Page Six.
But it looks like that was the wrong movie to see together, because things got a little awkward for the newly minted couple. Apparently there’s a part of the movie where Jennifer Aniston’s racy character asks, “Did you see Gossip Girl last night? I [bleeped] myself so hard [watching] that Penn Badgley guy, I broke a nail.” According to the witness, this made the real Penn more than a little uncomfortable. “The look on Penn’s face was priceless. They left the theater right after.” Looks like you might have some competition, Zoe!

X-Men: First Class New York Premiere Brings Out The Pack
This is one of the movie’s we can’t wait to watch this summer! The X-Men: First Class premiere took place at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City yesterday and most of the star cast turned up for it. January Jones decided to play where’s-the-baby-bump, because we could see nary a sign of it in her Preen dress and Prada shoes. Zoe Kravitz and Michael Fassbender—co-stars and a couple—looked liked the perfect pair. She was slinky in an Alexander Wang dress and Chanel shoes, and he was gorgeous in a three-piece grey suit and aviators.
James McAvoy (who we just love), Kevin Bacon and Lucas Till rounded up the men and we’re thinking… this movie is going to be such a babe fest! Rose Byrne looked better than we’ve ever seen her in a Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 navy lace dress with Bryan Atwood pumps. We’re a little disappointed that Jennifer Lawrence didn’t show up, but that’s just us fangirling.

Can You Feel The Mutant Sexual Tension In X-Men: First Class Theatrical Trailer?
See, this is what what happens when every single character in your movie is young and good-looking: unavoidable sexual tension. So maybe a select few have gigantic insect wings or blue scales or some kind of gross animal claw sprouting out of their body. It (probably) wouldn’t stop us in real life; it’s certainly not going to stop us on screen. In addition to the sexiness inherent in fighting for justice, the new X-Men: First Class theatrical trailer features a topless Zoe Kravtiz, a near kiss between Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique and Nicolas Hoult‘s Beast, and, of course, January Jones‘ ice cleavage. In retrospect, we probably won’t miss Chelsea Grammar‘s take on Hank McCoy as much as we screamed we would when the new film was announced. Even setting movie during the Cuban missile crisis itself is pretty sexy. In fact, seeing Michael Fassbenger‘s Magneto lift up an submarine with his mind is almost as exciting as the promise of some hot mutant-on-mutant action. Almost.

Anna Kendrick Slipping, Olsen Twins Sloppy At Tribeca Film Festival
Up In The Air‘s Anna Kendrick found a less than subtle way to say “remember me?” at last night’s Tribeca Film Festival opening, walking the red carpet in a dress that appeared to be falling off her body without ever quite hitting the floor. Not quite as, well, inviting were Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen. While Ashley’s trenchcoat and droopy dress matched the pair’s usual “style,” Mary-Kate’s orange pants and crimson coat took things to…you know, we’re at a loss to come up with a coherent metaphor to describe this outfit.
