Tyler Posey Gently Stokes The Flames Of A Werewolf Rivalry With Taylor Lautner

Yesterday’s first annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards was quite the star-studded event, one where objects-of-desire like Jon Hamm and Christina Hendricks both took home prizes. While all the celebs congregated in one room for the luncheon and awards ceremony, the real action took place backstage, where our own Kate Spencer was holding court with virtually all of the winners. She even got a few minutes to chat with Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey and, being the Twi-hard that she is, she asked him if there was a rivalry beginning to brew between himself and fellow lycanthrope Taylor Lautner. “Do I feel a competition?,” he said with a mischievous glint in his eye. “Not really, no, because I know I would win.” Oh SNAP! Ball’s in your court now, Taylor.

Jon Hamm And Christina Hendricks Win At The Critics’ Choice Television Awards

Well, somebody’s in a good mood! The inaugural Critics’ Choice Television Awards went down yesterday—airing live on Vh1.com, with trophies going to a mix of familiar and not so familiar names. Mad Men walked away with Best Drama, Best Actor (Jon Hamm) and Best Supporting Actress (Christina Hendricks), though Hendricks actually split the award with Margo Martindale of Justified in a surprise tie. Modern Family won Best Comedy, with Tina Fey, Julianna Marguiles, Jim Parsons, Busy Phillips and Neil Patrick Harris nabbing the other acting awards. Of the stars, only Fey and Parsons have won Emmys for their work, so it’ll be interesting to see what influence these victories have on this year’s ceremony. After all, the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards have always been a strong predictor of Oscar odds. Check out the complete list of winners and check out photos from the event in the gallery below.

The first annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards are taking place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday, June 20th at 4/3c. VH1.com will be streaming the event live online as well as airing interviews and commentary hosted by yours truly. Yes, me! Kate Spencer! Watch as I wear a dress live on the internet! My co-host is professional funny lady Jamie Lee, who was a semi-finalist on this season of Last Comic Standing. We will be talking with presenters and winners, as well as video-chatting with TV bloggers from across the country about the show. Celebrities, awards and LOLS are a winning combination! Don’t miss it.

Check out the list of nominees and let us know your picks to win. I shall do my best to remain neutral, after I have one brief fangirl-y moment about Best Drama Series nominee Friday Night Lights. Clear eyes full hearts can’t lose! Okay, I’m done.
