What are Artist Fan Sites? |

Artist Fan Sites are a collection of fan site links posted by you, the webmaster of a fan site.
We have provided an easy way for you to get your fan site link posted on VH1.com. It's a great way to get more visibility for your favorite artists, get a lot more page hits for your web site, and share important information of the artists you love with the rest of the world.

Non Webmasters: How can I get my favorite Artist fan site posted on VH1.com? |

It's simple. Write to the webmaster of your favorite band's web site; ask them to send VH1 the band site URL, along with a couple of other bits of information we need. Once they've taken care of the administrative side of things, the link will appear in the Web Sites section of the VH1 Artist Page. |

Why can't I submit an Artist Fan Site directly? |

For legal reasons, fan sites must be submitted by the Webmaster of the band's web site. The Webmaster is also the only person who can provide a link from the band's site back to VH1. |

How do I add an Artist Fan Site listing? |

There are two ways to post a link to your Fan Site:
Add Fan Site From Artist Page
- Go to the artist page for which you want to post a link.
- In the "Add Your Fan Site" section, click the link that says "Add a link to your fan site on VH1.com!"
- Sign in (if you're not already). The Fan Site Legal agreement will appear.
- Click 'I Accept' to continue. An Artist Fan Site Info page will appear.
- Fill out the form with the Fan Site title, URL and description, and then click the "Next" button. A confirmation page will appear. Click "Submit." The "Finished" page will appear.
- Check your email for approval from VH1.com. When you get your approval, you'll also find an HTML fragment that links your site back to the VH1 Artist page. This HTML fragment also gives us a way to see how many people are using the link.
Add Fan Site From Within My Account
- Sign in to VH1.com, and click on "My Account" to load your My Account page.
- Scroll down the fan site section. Click the "Add/Edit Fan Sites" button.
- Use the "Find Fan Site Artist" search box to find the artist you want. When the search returns a list of artist names matching your search, click the orange "Select" button next to the desired artist. The Fan Site Legal page will appear.
- Click 'I Accept' to continue. An Artist Fan Site Info page will appear.
- Fill out form with the Fan Site title, URL and description, and then click the "Next" button. A confirmation page will appear. Click "Submit." The "Finished" page will appear.
