Elton John AIDS Foundation
Their mission is to provide funding for educational programs targeted at HIV/AIDS prevention and/or the elimination of prejudice and discrimination against HIV/AIDS-affected individuals, and for programs that provide services to people living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS.

Very active with many AIDs organizations local and national. Most notably, a spokeswoman, with Elton John for the MAC AIDs Foundation. Established in 1994 by MAC Cosmetics, The MAC AIDS Fund supports men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS globally. Introducing its first VIVA GLAM lipstick that same year, MAC decided that every cent of the selling price of the VIVA GLAM lipsticks would go to The MAC AIDS Fund.

A strong advocate for AIDS awareness, Bono helped to create DATA (Debt, Trade, AIDs in Africa). DATA is a new organization which aims to raise awareness about the crisis swamping Africa: unpayable DEBTS, uncontrolled spread of AIDS, and unfair TRADE rules which keep AFRICANS poor. We are asking that the governments of the world's wealthy nations - the United States, Europe, Canada and Japan - respond quickly and generously to this emergency

Dave Matthews Band
Bama Works Foundation was established by the Dave Matthews Band to carry out the band's commitment to charitable works, both close to home and world wide. In the past, the foundation has contributed to HIV/Aids organizations.

Artists Against Aids Worldwide is an entertainment and artist-led non-profit organization dedicated to raising the awareness and money needed to bring direct care to those affected by AIDS, especially in Africa. AAAW is dedicated to raising money from the general public, governments, corporations and through debt relief to stop the humanitarian crisis of AIDS. AAAW aims to campaign against the causes of AIDS especially extreme poverty.

Dialogues: Education and Treatment for a Well Planned Future was recently launched with the help of the two surviving members of TLC. Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, who've lost loved ones to AIDS, have joined a pharmaceutical company to create this national educational initiative to help patients get the facts about HIV and get involved in their own care.

LIFEbeat is a national non-profit organization dedicated to reaching American's youth with the message of HIV/AIDS prevention. LIFEbeat mobilizes the talents and resources of the music industry to raise awareness and to provide support to the AIDS community.
