Support the Victims of Hurricane Katrina
They're saying that Hurricane Katrina might be one of the worst natural disasters to ever hit the United States. Thousands are homeless. Scores are dead. Whole areas of the South are without electricity. Millions of dollars in property has been destroyed, and New Orleans is desperately struggling to hold back the floodwaters.
But the situation is not without hope. The American Red Cross is mobilizing one of the biggest relief efforts in history. Thousands of volunteers are helping. Nearly half a million meals are being prepared for evacuated citizens. Shelters are going up in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Texas, and airlifts have begun. If you would like to assist with the relief effort, we urge you to make a donation.
If you would like to assist with the relief effort, we urge you to make a donation to the American Red Cross. Every little bit helps. Click
