VH1 Classic Presents the “Genesis Two For The Road” Sweepstakes
OFFICIAL RULES
 
1. No purchase necessary.

2. To enter: The sweepstakes will be posted on www.vh1classic.com, a website owned and controlled by MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International, Inc. ("MTVN") starting at or around 12:00 pm (ET)August 27, 2007 and ending at or around 12:00 pm (ET)October 01, 2007  (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Participants must fill out the required fields on the Sweepstakes entry form to be entered into a random drawing (collectively "Eligible Entries"). There will be one grand prize winner (“the Grand Prize Winner”) selected from the Eligible Entries. Participants must complete all required data requested on the entry form. Incomplete or inaccurate entry forms are void. Limit one entry per person per day. If an entrant uses multiple e-mail addresses to submit more than one online entry for a given day, only the first online entry for that day will count. By entering, participants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. MTVN, and UltraStar are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email on behalf of entrants on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of MTVN which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes or for any reason MTVN deems it necessary, MTVN reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on www.vh1classic.com. Entries that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event of a dispute over who submitted the winning entry, the holder of the winning email account will be declared the winner. An "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a telephone number, pager number or email address by a telephone company, wireless service provider, Internet access provider, Internet service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational, government, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning telephone numbers, pager numbers, wireless phone numbers, email addresses, for the telephone exchange associated with the submitted telephone or pager number or the domain associated with the submitted telephone, pager number or email address, as applicable. All entries become the property of MTVN.

3. Prizing: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a prize including:

• Roundtrip coach airfare for winner and one (1) guest from closest major city airport of MTVn’s and UltraStar’s choice to Los Angles, California. (MTVN and UltraStar reserve the right to substitute air transportation for ground transportation if grand prize winner resides within 150 miles of Los Angeles, California).
• Two (2) night/Three (3) day standard hotel accommodations (room and tax only).
• Two (2) tickets to the Genesis concert on October 12, 2007 at the Hollywood Bowl in California.
• Two (2) tickets to the Genesis concert on October 13 , 2007 at the Hollywood Bowl in California.
• One (1) autographed Genesis box set CD collection.
• Backstage tour and meet-and-greet with the band on October 12, 2007 (subject to Artist’s availability).

The total approximate retail value of Sweepstakes is $3,000

The tentative dates for prize fulfillment are October 12, 2007 through October 14, 2007 and are subject to change at MTVN's sole discretion. The total approximate retail value of this Sweepstakes is $3,000. The actual retail value of this Sweepstakes depends on current existing market conditions at time of prize fulfillment. MTVN reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize(s) of comparable value. Selection of airline, airport, hotel and ground transportation (if applicable) are within MTVN’s sole discretion.  Grand Prize Winner and guest must be able to travel on the same itinerary that MTVN in its sole discretion determines. Grand Prize Winner and guest are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary and required travel documents (i.e. passports, etc.). All airline tickets issued in conjunction with the Prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles, and no code-share flights may be used. No change or extension or substitution of trip dates is permitted once the trip date is chosen. The airline tickets are non-endorsable, non refundable and not exchangeable for cash. All meals, gratuities, phone calls, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as being included are excluded and are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner.

4. The odds of winning will be determined by the total number of eligible entries received.

5. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of MTVN, which are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

6. The Grand Prize Winner will be chosen at random, from among all of the Eligible Entries received, by MTVN's on or around October 02, 2007. MTVN will be contacting the potential Grand Prize Winner by telephone (No voice messages will be left). Upon notification, the potential winner must call the phone number provided to confirm identity and eligibility within one (1) working days. If any potential winner(s) is unreachable, or if there is no response from any potential winner(s) within one (1) working days, or if any potential winner (s) is not in compliance with these Official Rules, an alternate winner(s) may be chosen, in MTVN's sole discretion.  If an alternate winner is chosen, it will be selected randomly from the remaining Eligible Entries.

7. The specifics of all elements of any prize in the Sweepstakes shall be solely determined by MTVN. Some restrictions may apply. No substitution, transfer of any prize (or any part of a prize package) or cash alternative permitted, except by MTVN due to prize unavailability at time of award in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Unless specified otherwise by MTVN, no cash will be awarded. Arrangements for the fulfillment of prizes will be made by UltraStar and/or MTVN.  The Grand Prize Winner must sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of MTV Networks, and Viacom International Inc., UltraStar and other sponsors and/or participating retailers from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, or loss suffered in connection with this promotion or the use or acceptance of the prize or any portion thereof to be eligible for the prizes. The receipt by any winner of any of the prize components of this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state and local rules and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT MTVN'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF MTVN'S VH1 Classic Presents “Genesis Double Set” SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

8. The value of the prize(s) may be taxable as income. Upon receipt of any prize, the winner(s) is required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local tax that becomes due with respect to the prize(s).

9. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United.States. who are at least 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Grand Prize Winner is subject to proving eligibility, including verification of social security number and is further subject to possessing a valid, government-issued photographic identification at the time of prize fulfillment. If Grand Prize Winner cannot furnish verifiable and valid proof of age within 48 hours after being notified of winning, an alternate winner may be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries received, in MTVN's sole discretion. Sweepstakes not open to employees and their immediate families of MTV Networks, Viacom International Inc., UltraStar and affiliated companies and subsidiaries as well as any person who has won an MTVN national contest or sweepstakes in the twelve (12)-month period preceding entry into this Sweepstakes. VOID IN ALASKA AND HAWAII AND WHEREVER PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. All entries become the property of MTVN. Additional restrictions may apply.

10. All interpretations of the rules and decisions by MTVN are final. MTVN reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the game or web site; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, VH1 RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY OF THE CONTROVERSY REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SWEEPSTAKES. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS.

Vermont residents may omit return postage if requesting a set of Official Rules.

12. Winner agrees that MTV Networks, Viacom International Inc., their subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies and employees shall have no liability in connection with acceptance or use of any of the prizes awarded herein.
