Seann William Scott To Change His Slacker Ways In New Film
Actor playing man who turns his life around in 'The Book of Leo.'

He's already got the lightning-fast car and the penchant for college coeds. Now "Dukes of Hazzard" actor Seann William Scott is making plans to fully address his mid-life crisis.
The star has signed on for "The Book of Leo," a comedy about a
carefree slacker who, on the verge of his 30th birthday, realizes that he's wasting his life. Faced with an ensuing "quarter-life crisis," the young man hastily attempts to rewrite the blueprint of his existence, much to the chagrin of those around him.
Scott, who'll be turning 29 himself this October, will bring his trademark scruffy appearance and mischievous grin to the lead role. There are no other actors attached yet, and a director has yet to be chosen.
Based on a script written by newcomer Joe Lovero, the film will be overseen by Universal Pictures and "Legally Blonde" producer Marc Platt. Scott — whose upcoming films include the Billy Bob Thornton comedy "Mr. Woodcock" and the quirky Richard Kelly musical drama "Southland Tales" — can currently be seen as Bo in "Dukes," the big-screen version of the classic television show. The flick debuted atop the box-office heap this past weekend (see " 'The Dukes Of Hazzard' Outfoxes Critics, Lands At #1").
